Updated 5/21/2026 Jay S. (owner) reached out to me early March to check status of foundation work and to see I had any remaining concerns. I was pleasantly surprised to receive his call. I did mention concerns regarding issue with my patio. He immediately scheduled site visit to have 1 pier tested. The patio was not actually part of main structure. A fix was necessary to raise the patio. Jay S. gave me a very fair price. The work was completed promptly by Jan and a great crew, patio was raised. Gilbert and Luis did a great job repairing a crack in our driveway. They communicated well letting us know when they were on the way. They arrived on time and explained the entire process and answered all of our questions before they started working. They worked for 6 hours and did each step of the process with care and expertise. They kept the job site clean and they met with us to answer questions when they finished the job. They also talked to us about ways to prevent erosion in the future as well as checking for foundation issues. We are very happy with Helicon and highly recommend Luis and Gilbert to do the job right. Terrible job! Made the surrounding concrete worse than before the job. Project Consultant Bradford out of Fort Myers area, did not stand behind the work and was unresponsive. I tried numerous times to reach someone, only to be passed around. I finally reached someone, only for them to say it would take nearly a month just for a rep to come out to assess the job and residual damages caused by the work. Everything about Helicon's service was top-drawer, from the initial estimate and consultation right up to the grout injection. Everything was explained to me clearly, including different cost options, and they were honest about what I needed and didn't I don't need. The work was finished in less than half a day, which was much faster than I expected, but Ray took me around the house to show me everything they had done. 9/13/23 update... All issues have been resolved. They unclogged and replaced a portion of the drain pipe, removed the excess foam off the walls and leveled the concrete so that the water runs to the drain pipe. Thank you Helicon for keeping your word and resolving the issues that occurred. 9/2/23 update.. a week after posting they came and cleaned up the excess foam as well as used self leveling concrete to close the gap between the drainage and the concrete. HOWEVER, the main issue has it been resolved; they cut out a 4 ft section of the drainage pipe and a month later it's still not replaced neither did it solve the problem since there's still water pooling in the corner. Original Post Not sure if it fixed the problem yet, time will tell. However when you spend $$$$ for a service you do expect a quality job as well as FIX any issues that arise due to their negligence, especially because they pride themselves on being a "reputable" company. 2 complaints First, they shot the foam too close to the pool deck drainage and now it it's blocked off in several spots therefore it no longer drains. I've informed them that when it rains, the water pools next to my exterior wall and it doesn't drain anymore. Therefore, since they caused it, they need to fix it BUT they refused to do so. Second, they raised one section to high, and now the rain water doesn't get to the drainage , but rather drains through the concrete right before the drainage. Please do your research before spending your $$$$ and make sure you get in writing that they will fix whatever they break. read more

I had requested an estimate from Helicon. Manolo Bardeguez was right on time, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He explained that although my job was too small for this company without overcharging me he had some suggestions in what i could do to raise the sidewalk and prevent future foundation damage. I really appreciated Manolo's honesty! I would definitely make sure this company was called if I ever have the opportunity to pass their number on for a larger job. read more

I hired Helicon on 3/31/23 and they lifted one end of pool deck too high and Ryan ground down/off the decorative surface on my pool deck without my permission and damaged my pool deck and the owner gave me his word that he would have my pool deck resurfaced, but he didn't keep his word. It's now 9/25/23 and still nothing yet. I have a witness what I'm saying is the truth. I'm going to sue Helicon. Consumers Beware! Don't hire this company unless you want the aggravation and shoddy work. read more

HellyaICAN!!! Finally - a family owned company w/integrity whom actually cares enough to fight and bend over backwards for your business. I had LRE and Alpha price out jobs for a low crawl space whole house foundation needing to address some lifting and stabilizing which were competitively high and in-line w/the huge markup this industry charges. I had one more foundation co come out who was upfront telling me they'd be even higher - ugh... Had an aptm already w/Helicon, called to cancel bc I assumed they'd fall in line w/the rest and did not want to waste my time or theirs. Guess what, during my conversation w/the sales rep Chris who kindly tried to express they'd work w/me and not to cancel, that it was free, to give them a shot, however I was adamant saying no. Brian the manager followed up, spending an hr on the phone w/me trying to get a grasp of my needs and wants etc, all the while no pressure or sales tactics whatsoever just the specs of the job. I am not a pushover, flipped homes for a living so know all aspects of the industry and I have to say Brian was so compelling and passionate about what they do and assured me that they would do everything in their power to get the pricing and the scope of the job to work. Ended up keeping the aptm w/Chris the next day, can you say, "AMAZING!" I anticipated they'd come back w/a quote that was not in my budget but guess what - Brian and Chris put on their capes becoming superhero's and somehow figured out the best results within a price that was unbelievable. They compromised a lot w/their pricing and I came up a bit to meet them to put the deal together. Another aspect that helped me bite the bullet is they offer 0% financing for 10-12 months which helps fund this. I also have to mention Doug who cared enough to come out w/Chris to assist in the whole process as well. Currently the actual install is scheduled and will do an update or workmanship upon completion. All I can say is, give them a shot and consider they're local and not a corporate nationwide giant that aren't personalized. read more
