During a remodel, we discovered the wood flooring beneath vinyl plank flooring (yes, someone installed new flooring on top of old flooring) had water damage and black mold on it. There were cracks in the foundation that ran from one exterior wall to another exterior wall presumably allowing moisture to enter the house from below the foundation damaging the flooring. I Googled and found Alpha Foundations. The company had a lot of great reviews. After meeting with the salesperson, we contracted with the company to void fill by injecting expandable polyfoam under the foundation to stabilize our front room, kitchen, and living room. They were able to schedule the repair within 3 weeks. The Foreman Joshua Woodfork called the evening before to let me know his estimated time of arrival the next morning. He showed up on time, explained what he was going to do and got started right away. He took pictures as he made the repair and texted them to me afterward. He injected areas as planned and used his level to make sure it stabilized / compacted with the dirt. He went around every room and the level changed 0.1 (10th of an inch) to ensure stabilization. He drilled the injection holes 3-4 feet apart covering the entire section on contract. The repair came with a 5 year warranty with annual inspections. The company keeps a record of what was recommended and what was done for annual inspections. I highly recommend Josh and Alpha Foundations! read more

My experience with this company is not good. They took my $4000 deposit but still have not done the work. First excuse was the building permits. I personally went and fast tracked the permit with the county. Still no work done. Can't even get a schedule date. I think this company is an administrative/management nightmare. Makes me also question their engineering ability. Are they just expensive salesmen? Very, very disappointed. Extremely tired of trying to get them to do the work. The gentleman the performed the service, Tory F., was very friendly and polite. I am so incredibly grateful to Alpha Foundations and their professional team! We moved into a house built in the 1960s and some of the floor areas sagged and we noticed cracks in two of our beams under our house. Jake was the project manager on our property and the job was not a particularly easy one. We had a deck out back which needed painstaking dismantling, some sawing out of wood to get to the house and then a rebuild after the job was done.. I had a pool deck lifted, 2 days later it began to sink again, when I called, I was told the crew would call me right away, I still have not herd from the crew. I was able together ahold of my sales person, he call me back to tell that crew would be back to fix the deck in 13 days from the original repair. Be aware of who your field technician is and the referrals they make. All seems great once you sign the contract and to be honest the crew was great but when there are issues it's your problem and when you are dealing with a 23,000.00 job you hope someone is there to help you navigate a referral they made to you for a subcontractor who basically and I hate to say it, just sucked...I am happy to communicate with anyone who has concerns or questions as there's nothing worse that feeling disrespected by a company you depend on to do the right thing by you. And when stressed beyond believe and you want to speak to someone who you can elevate your concerns to and you're told at 8pm... they are at home with there families and they will contact you to tomorrow during business hours. ok, my bad for thinking maybe some would want to hear me after spending 23,000$ and the reason it was 8 pm was because the person who didnt show up at 4:30-5:30 showed up @6 and didn't have the necessary equipment to complete the job and by the time I went back and forth with the "field tech" I got the sorry can't be bothered, home with the fam! just be wary. read more

Like everyone else in Florida I noticed cracks on my walls outside but thought oh the house just settled. Then I noticed the landscaping rocks in a small section just dropped about 6 inches. I called right away for an inspection. My fears of a sinkhole wee dismissed thankfully but he did explain to me that over time the outside wall of my garage would eventually drop to the point that the door would bind and I would have bigger issues. The guys that came out to do the actual job were professional and did what I thought would be an all day job in about 2 hours. They replaced soil and would've replanted the shrub if I wanted. They came in and showed me each step so I could see what was actually happening so I understood what was saving my home. Alpha installed steel beams at my house for stability. I found that they were waaaaay more knowledgeable and professional than their competitors. The estimator took measurements throughout the building and was able to quantitatively tell me how much my house had moved, where the minor sinking had occurred and explain why the cracks appeared where they did; unlike their competitor. Their prices were reasonable for a task that can be very expensive. They don't price gouge. Their competitor's quote was double for a procedure that probably wouldn't be suitable for my needs. They were respectful of my property. They made sure to work around the trees and shrubs offering to replace if damaged. Their work crew were polite and task oriented. Once all the permitting was resolved they were Johnny on the spot and resolved some very serious foundation issues that have been cooking for 30+ years. As new residents in St Pete we were not sure who to call about repairing our large concrete driveway with turn around. ALPHA was prompt in sending over Zach, who gave us a detailed plan with options on repairing. Some of our neighbors have removed and replaced these large driveways with pavers only to have sinking issues. We felt that keeping our concrete panel driveway was the way to go. Dylan and Tory were on the job a few days later. Being an owner in construction / development we could tell right away we had hired the right company.
