Heather and Terri both came out initially to give us an estimate. I asked Heather to come back out to give me some advice/suggestions on colors for our brick home. She did so willingly and worked with me to decide what would look best on our home. She communicated with me regularly to let me know what the timeframe would be for the start (and completion) of our project. It went exactly as planned (despite a day Mike couldn't paint because it rained). He arrived every morning at 7:30 to begin painting. His attention to detail is amazing! Jeff and his team arrived and had a professional appearance which, to me translates in to a job that will be done with the needed attention to detail. He and his team even took steps to ensure my newborn was not being disturbed during each part of the process; which in my experience is not something you come across very often. Not only did I witness his ENTIRE crew working very hard (taking few breaks), but Jeff, the supervisor, also came out daily to conduct spot checks and asked I walk with him in order to explain each part of the process to ensure I was properly informed. Their work was also very well done and initially I was worried the completed work wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing. I have to admit, the way Jeff and his crew did the waterproofing job made it appear as though it was all part of the landscaping plan for the house. They even ensured the materials they used matched the exterior or my home as well as the trim. At the completion of the job, I also received a follow up visit from Jeff and Chelsea to ensure everything was completed to his standards. Following his inspection, he determined he didn't like how a particular portion of the job looked and later came out to add more rock in order to make the look of the landscaping more full and also trimmed one of the pipes to better conceal it. Should my wife and I move and purchase another home or even need anything additional with our current home, I will 100% be calling Foundation Masters. Paying a little more than 'the other guys' was beyond worth it in my book as the general 'headache' associated with home projects was nonexistent. In my eyes that alone is worth it! Absolutely avoid this company. I should have stopped them from doing any work when they arrived…read more They showed up late. The guy doing the utility survey prior to the work being done wasn't told by LRE what he was doing. When the LRE crew showed up, they asked me what they were doing when they arrived. That is on me for not realizing right then and there that they should not be doing any work on my foundation. They were supposed to fill a void under my foundation and ended up raising the slab to the point it damaged the flooring in my home. LRE admitted to causing the damage but ultimately only offered $500 for the repair. I had to pay another company to remove the flooring and then pay a second company to level out the floor, and replace the flooring. I have no idea of the long term effects the foundation damage will have on my drywall where the slab was raised. I have attached a picture of the damage and how much they raised my slab. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reputable company. I'm making sure to tell my family, friends, and co-workers to steer clear of LRE.

I was told that the owner of the company, Ray, had done some work for my neighbor in the past and he was very pleased with the quality and price. Easy to contact and be contacted before deposit, after phone calls about start date went unanswered, thought i had been scammed. Ten-page contract, had to write in color selections, as he only wanted to speak of his recommendations and what colors most other people want. The first 2 painters that showed up on 30 Dec 2024, unannounced but walked off the job after seeing the home size, he said they were fired for their actions. Don't know what they did wrong as all the calls were Spanish only, only clear words to me were not enough money job to big! On the Second Day 3, young men arrived again with no contact from Villa Portofino! No supervision of young non-English speaking workers. They attempted to paint in the rain on New Year's Eve 31 Dec 2024, when we told them not to paint in the rain Phillip called and claimed I was harassing his workers and ask that I not attempt to speak with them anymore! Quality: Day 4 End result of the job they worked diligently packed up their equiptment and the came to ask us to take a look, at this a supervisor was outside. He spoke very little broken English, but said it looks good they are finished. Here are the results: Soffit painted, Black gutters were installed approximately 2 months ago, they were scratched from the ladder or hoses, only had overspray and runs on Gutters and the downspouts were only painted next to soffit. Painting of the downspouts and gutter was from the insistence of Phil, Villa Portofino Painting, he said "if not painted they will be fade in two years and the two blacks wont match". But they were not painted! Large Stucco crack not repaired just painted over, flashing unpainted, body paint still on white window frames, door not painted under knob, garage window has overspray on glass the list is longer. If it gets better, I will update. Value: So far, the poor communication, lack of properly trained personnel, issues, ruined new $6K gutter appearance, over 1.5 months of frustration the value is all Negative. I would not reccommend them to anyone at this point!
