You can see they really put a lot of effort into making the place beautiful and charming. Once we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a server who was pleasant and welcoming. I believe her name was Christy. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the lodge and even the kind of trees in the area. It was all so intriguing. We were ushered onto a deck that over looked the rogue river with beautiful mountains the background. there were all kinds of wildlife just out and about, a doe with her two young, geese, wild turkeys...it was incredible. Once seated, another server I think her name was delanie came and brought us these things called orange rolls, which I have to say are by far the most delectable thing I've probably ever eaten in my life. She also took our drink order and asked if we wanted soup or salad. i chose soup which was delicious and my friend had the salad with which she raved about being the best salad she'd ever eaten. It all came from the garden the tend to up the road. No sooner than us finishing them our plates were cleared and within 5 minutes or so our entree's were served along with the lemon drops we ordered from the bartender Haily who was just amazing. We had the premium steaks that were seated on top of mashed potatoes and candied carrots. I've never had a better steak in my life. It just melted in my mouth. Each thing on the beautifully put together meal was a masterpiece by its self, but the flavors together complimented each other in such an exquisite way. The lemon drops were phenomenal as well. Just like with the soup and salad as soon as we were done our plates were cleared and we were served dessert shortly after. And once again the beauty of the dish was quite impressive. The chefs here definitely take their job to a whole new level. I had the chocolate plum cake and my friend had this apple bacon thing. They were so sweet and had a little happy birthday thing on my cake as well as lighting a little candle for me to blow out and make a wish. Of course with every bite came a burst of flavors that were so perfect together that I just wanted to savor it and take in each moment. Before leaving we went to thank the chef her name was Blanca , she was so kind and really happy we enjoyed the food so much. This place and these people definitely exceeded any expectations I had and I would recommend it to anyone. I'll definitely be returning every chance I get.

He grabbed our beers and pizza and off we went to the river. We were on the river pretty quickly. We were in the Sunset Tour so we enjoyed wildlife viewing along with good conversation, good beer and pizza. The guide did all the paddling and get did all the pubbing. I think your family or friends would really enjoy this leisurely time on the river.

Rogue River is picturesque with just…read moreenough flat to make you appreciate the rapids and just enough rapids to make you appreciate the flat, with rapids variable enough to say "yeah, that was a 3-" by the end of the trip like you've been doing this not just three days. The best part of the trip was the crew! The crew - Kate, Nicole, Alec, Rachel, Ryan, Rudy, Cam - were all awesome and worked so very hard to make this trip incredible. As I was grumbling to myself that I had to get up at 7 am to drink my already-prepared coffee (with snacks) while waiting for my gourmet-level breakfast I didn't know was possible while camping - it occurred to me that the crew has already been up, have set up the breakfast snack table, brewed coffee, and are almost done with our breakfast. As I was grumbling about having to set up or put down the tent every day - I realized that the crew loaded and unloaded everything and set up camp and chairs before we even got to the site. They did all this without me noticing because the entire time they were friendly and kind and easy-going. These folks genuinely like being out, working together, on the river, sharing good vibes. If we could somehow bottle the enthusiasm, hard work, positive vibes they posses - all of world's problems would be solved. They set an excellent no non-sense (it *is* rapids and camping), fun, positive, uplifting and encouraging mood every single day. I felt safe under everyone's watchful eye. Everyone communicated clearly about what was expected from the river and from us (I'm an anxious person and this was such a big deal to me). Talking to other folks on this trip for whom this was not their first rafting adventure - apparently, once you go OARS, you don't go back. Seems like that company has figured out a way how to make great crews. Re-entering the real world has been tough. There's been 0 ospreys or bald eagles or turkey vultures (usually there's one or two or three somewhere around you on Rogue) on my morning walk and, dare I say - I miss "THE GROOVER". The most elegant, beautiful bathroom situation I have dealt with while camping. I also brought a semi-surly teenager against his will who, by the end, was begrudgingly "somehow" having a great time. This would absolutely not be possible without Kate, Nicole, Alec, Rachel, Ryan, Rudy, and Cam and the vibes they have set up. If I had all the money in the world, these guys would be flown out to anywhere they wanted to be so I can have rafting adventures with them there.. but for now, I just already want to go back to the Rogue and this time make it through the Coffee Pot without being thoroughly percolated.

Awesome grass area where kids from all camps played soccer and other sports. Very clean park. Store was great where we rented boats and kayaks that the kids loved with making many memories to remember. Vince and Shannon were amazing camp hosts and we loved getting to know them! If you're looking for a quiet but fun place to stay in RV, rent a cabin or sleep in a tent which we also did for a night... this is the place!!!! Hats off to Lake Selmac and Shannon and Vince for welcoming our crazy RV group and taking such good care of us! We will be sure to return!

Debbie and her crew were incredibly accommodating, and this was easily one of the most well-stocked vacation homes any of us have ever experienced. We also loved the evening bands and food trucks and even incorporated them into our trip planning, which made the whole experience even more fun and relaxing. Had the most amazing time and would recommend this trip to just about anyone of any age. They go all out with the meals, really gourmet, fresh high quality produce and coffee (that's an important one). They guides are relentless, up at dawn making coffee, setting up meals, and making sure you are having fun. We had such a great time and by the end of the trip it felt like Michael, Moose, and Turner were part of our friend group and had the best time with the three of them. Great peoples.
