We literally left the raft at the ramp and walked over and checked out . We booked on a Sunday first raft to go out . While they loaded the van and we signed our papers and paid the fee we found out The owners relocated from Vegas in the 80's to shady cove and we are from Vegas so that was cool and awesome conversation while waiting . They take you about 12 miles up to the fish hatchery which is about 17 miles on the river on the way up the driver gave us some pointers for our rafting down pointed out the store / pit stop (they had ropes tied to the trees) very informative!! Once we were in the water (45 min after booking time ) it took us about 3 hours to complete . The trip down was amazing ! The view was beautiful. Lots of wild life ! We seen a lot of deer along side the river drinking or eating berries, a big bird grab a fish out the river , a few fish jump here and there . The water was refreshing and clear . The flow was good the rapids were perfect nothing to crazy but a few spots get pretty interesting made the trip fun . Definitely will be doing this again next time we visit !

Once seated, another server I think her name was delanie came and brought us these things called orange rolls, which I have to say are by far the most delectable thing I've probably ever eaten in my life. She also took our drink order and asked if we wanted soup or salad. i chose soup which was delicious and my friend had the salad with which she raved about being the best salad she'd ever eaten. It all came from the garden the tend to up the road. No sooner than us finishing them our plates were cleared and within 5 minutes or so our entree's were served along with the lemon drops we ordered from the bartender Haily who was just amazing. We had the premium steaks that were seated on top of mashed potatoes and candied carrots. I've never had a better steak in my life. It just melted in my mouth. Each thing on the beautifully put together meal was a masterpiece by its self, but the flavors together complimented each other in such an exquisite way. The lemon drops were phenomenal as well. Just like with the soup and salad as soon as we were done our plates were cleared and we were served dessert shortly after. And once again the beauty of the dish was quite impressive. The chefs here definitely take their job to a whole new level. I had the chocolate plum cake and my friend had this apple bacon thing. They were so sweet and had a little happy birthday thing on my cake as well as lighting a little candle for me to blow out and make a wish. Of course with every bite came a burst of flavors that were so perfect together that I just wanted to savor it and take in each moment. We called and arranged our trip on very short notice and we were added to the schedule without any…read moreissue. Price was fair $68 for two of us including shuttle and raft. It was nice that they started asking us about what equipment that we wanted (ice chests, life jackets, dry bags, oars) after we had already paid making it very clear that there would be no upcharge for any of this. It was a good part of the river with a good balance of challenge and fun without ever feeling like we were in danger. When we pulled our masks out of our bags before boarding the bus with multiple other customer ls the driver of the shuttle said "if you are concerned about masks we can come back and get you". Nobody on the shuttle including employees are wearing masks and they make no excuses for it. I am still giving them 5 stars as this is not important to us however if it was an issue for us we would have had to wait for another shuttle and even then the driver likely would not have been wearing a mask!
