My wife and I ran a 3 day/2 night trip with Garrett Helfrich in October 2023. The weather was…read morepretty wet the whole time, but the sun did peak out to give you a break. The Rogue is a magnificent river with never a dull moment. One minute you are hanging on for dear life, and the next minute you are reeling in steel-heads and rainbows. Garrett Helfrich was all that I hoped for in a guide. His ability on the oars made it all exciting, yet safe. My wife settled down after the first few rapids after she saw just how skilled he was. She said that she felt safe with him on on the oars. The entire adventure was a blast. The bite was a little slow, but we worked hard at the right spots and landed many fish. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "I'll be back!"

We did the 4-day Rogue River lodge-to-lodge trip with ROW (booked thru Western River Expeditions)…read more A wonderful experience all around. Our guides--Peter, Anna, Kristen, and Jonas--were ideal leaders and companions: friendly, skilled, professional, and hard-working. The lodges were a treat, especially at the end of a rainy day, and the food at all of them was excellent. I only wish that the trail-hiking option (hiking along the river trail while the rafts floated) was more clearly explained in WRE's website info, I would have brought hiking boots if I had known about that option.

WELL I came away having one of the best experiences of my life! Warden's (Kikakeci) Canyon is stunning and quite challenging. Steve & Logan are so highly skilled & experienced, I never felt in danger even in the toughest spots. They timed our paddling from perches so well round boulders, rapids and tree limbs. I remembered to stay grounded in my feet and legs...a lesson learned when my tuckass hit a rock so I almost went flying on a not nearly as well guided or equipped class 2 trip last year in Virginia. Noah's guides have the rafts outfitted so well staying grounded in our seats was more than feasible on our ride. Ollie was a skillful driver & wonderful host to us as well just not a river guide that day. Flora & fauna viewing en route & on the ride were superb. Not sure how any outfit could do this better. I was a nervous ninny beforehand and found myself in such capable hands that I emerged confident, in love with the Klamath & life inspired. Highly recommend! Thank you Noah's River Adventures!

She took us to several stunning, scenic wineries, including a fantastic cidery at the end of the tour. She shared so much knowledge about wine without it ever feeling overwhelming. Having Faith handle all the driving meant we could completely relax, sip, and enjoy every moment without a worry in the world. She made my wife's birthday truly memorable and special.
