She could've serviced me first and done my mani since i arrived 15 min before the other girl showed up. We wouldve been done with my mani in time to get my pedi but she chose to service someone else and make me wait almost an hour. Thats how they loose customers. So disappointing!!

We called in advance to ensure they could accommodate 3 ppl, were told to come right in and they did not have anyone to assist me...I did get the massage chair for 20min tho! Cleanliness and the smell are also an issue. With so many other places to choose from, I would consider going elsewhere, friends.

I got a gel x extension set and paid $77 for removal of my previous extensions, a new set, and cuticle removal which was extra. This combined is more affordable than the last salon I was going to so I had to share my experience! It was about 2 hrs and 15 minutes which to be honest was very long for me but i think the application and attention to detail was the trade off. I plan to come back for future fills and will update my review accordingly if my experience strays from this original one! Con: the removal method was a little rough. It was the method of essentially ripping/peeling off my old set when i feel like im used to soaking in acetone and filing off. Wanting to mention it in case anyone is sensitive to that and my nails were filed pretty thin. Colors: since it was my first time, I didn't have a chance to look at every single color option but i do recall they did offer some cat eye and chrome options for more. The upside for me too was that they offered colors with gold flakes (pictured) and there was no up charge.

First impression and customer service experience…read more I visited Hana Nails in Marina del Rey while checking out local nail salons. I've lived in the Marina for 15 years and am looking for a new place, so I stopped in to get a feel for the salon. What immediately turned me off was how unwelcoming the interaction felt. Before I could even finish saying I was looking for a nail salon, her demeanor made me feel like I was bothering her. It wasn't a friendly "we don't allow non-customers to use the restroom," but a dismissive, cold response with no effort to make me feel welcome or acknowledge I could be a potential customer. I understand restroom policies and am not upset about being told no--it was the way it was communicated. The interaction felt cold and judgmental. There are plenty of salons where you feel welcomed right away. I can't speak to the services, but based on this first impression, I wouldn't return.

Since I was a walk in I did wait about 20 minutes (not bad at all but I'll make an appt next time). I spent the wait time choosing a nail color. Since the appointment was for my 101-year-old patient who uses a wheelchair, I wanted to make sure we could be accommodated. When we arrived, I hadn't even made it fully inside before I asked if there was another entrance that was wheelchair accessible. The employee immediately responded, very rudely, "No, we're booked," without any apology or explanation. I was confused because I had called beforehand and was never told that they were fully booked. I calmly explained that I had called earlier, and instead of trying to help or clarify the situation, she insisted I must have called the wrong number and continued speaking with an unpleasant attitude. There was no apology for the misunderstanding, no effort to assist, and no consideration for the fact that I had brought a 101-year-old client there. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy was shocking. Even if they were fully booked, a simple apology or polite explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, it was a complete waste of time and an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I would not recommend this business based on how we were treated.

Do not recommend for acrylic sets. I got a fresh set (I have not had acrylics in several years) and they all started to lift a lot after only about a week, with a couple popping right off as if they were press ons. I have never had that happen before and I don't do a lot of manual labor, just some mild typing for my day job and normal household chores like washing dishes, laundry, etc. Overall was disappointed and wasn't worth the cost of the set. So yes to pedicures here, but will go elsewhere for acrylics when I need them in the future.
