Parking is a breeze, as there is a parking lot in front of building, although it is a shared lot. It may take you a while to check out on Saturdays because it can get really busy. My prescription changed a bit this year. So I had to get new glasses. I was able to take my time choosing the lenses that I wanted. The staff also answered my insurance questions. So I was able to get the glasses that I wanted without a surprise charge. Overall, I enjoy coming to this location and I really like Dr. Shaeffer and the friendly staff.

The staff and doctors provide excellent attention and service to me and my children. They have high-end frames, and perhaps they cost more than some places around town, however, they do offer affordable frame options as well as the high-end designer frames. I believe 100% that you get what you pay for when it comes to frames and lenses and expert face-to-face advice regarding eye-care. My glasses are something that I wear, and rely heavily on every day, therefore I justify the expense.

Not only did the receptionist put me at ease, but the doctor provided tons of feedback, solutions, and prescribed a regime that cleared it right up. A few weeks later my boyfriend and I returned for an eye exam. My boyfriend is legally blind and has trouble with optometrists in the past, but he loved Red Mountain Eye Care. Staff is friendly, small waiting area but they are moving into a larger office in the same plaza. I'd been having a little trouble after hours and hours of computer work so wanted to get some glasses to to ease the strain. I've had lasik eye surgery about 11 years ago so finding someone who is knowledgeable and able to get the rx right can be a challenge. Dr Pickrell took a lot of time trying various combinations until we found what was a good option for me. Most may have gave up after a short try. They have parking in front and side of the building. Wait time is pretty short compared to most medical offices.
