Whether you're taking Uber or driving your own car, just getting to and from work adds up fast, especially with a long commute from Wahiawa to Kapolei and Waikīkī traffic. Plus, I love driving around the island casually like I'm still living in Texas. 30 minute commutes are normal for me. Costco Wholesale is my gas station of choice because it's usually about $10 cheaper to fill up compared to other spots. If you've got the membership, you might as well use it. The wild part is I filled up two days ago for $67... and here we are again. Living far from work + frequent stops + island traffic = $400-$500 a month just in gas. Long story short: island life is beautiful, but gas is expensive. Costco helps with that.

Not always the easiest as it does take a bit of effort as the garage is separate from my unit so with this cost effective system that selected Texaco has keeping my ride nice is even easier. This location is in Kapolei and though the standard was is a bit pricier than some of the town location though the ultimate option is cheaper it does have its benefits here along with $2 discount on 8 gallons or more fill up this fill and shine spot is easy and fast as there's no line as each individual wash does take some time versus the drive thru the time saved makes it so worth it all. The person who appeared to be the cashier had her back to me and was focused on doing inventory. I waited about a minute and tried to politely get her attention--cleared my throat, tapped the counter, even rustled some candy near the register--but still no response. Eventually, I said "Excuse me," which finally got her attention. She turned around, looked a bit irritated, and simply said "Yes?"--as if I was interrupting her rather than being a paying customer. I asked for $40 on pump 10 and handed over my cash. No "Do you have rewards?" or "Would you like a receipt?" like usual. I had to ask for both. Her attitude and lack of customer service was disappointing. This was not the standard I've come to expect from this location. I usually enjoy coming here, but encounters like this make me reconsider. A little professionalism and acknowledgment go a long way.

But then she mentioned that they make pizzas there like pieology, and that they were shown on Hawaii News Now, so I definitely was intrigued - and happily agreed to visit and see what it's all about. When we got there, they already had 2 pizzas made for other co-workers who called in their orders. While they chose veggie and supreme pizza, I decided to build my own and got to choose 5 toppings - they were out of onions, so I chose green peppers, olives, mushrooms (they were canned), pulled pork, and italian sausage. I got red sauce (they were out of the hot buffalo sauce that they said it good as a topping after it's baked), and mozzarella cheese and dried chili flakes and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top after baking. The staff seemed eager to make the pizzas and the local business seems very proud of their fancy pizza maker and oven. When they rang me up ($10), the cashier also gave me a stamp card - when you buy 9 pizzas, the 10th is free! They forgot to offer a card or stamps to my co-workers, so we asked if they could stamp the same card for their pizzas too and they did. Even after we walked a couple blocks back to the office, the pizza was still crispy and tasty. There were a generous amount of toppings, and it was filling and satisfying. Honestly, the options are fairly limited so it's similar to pieology in concept, but on a much smaller scale. But it's a good option for the area and definitely a unique experience at a gas station! The gas station also had other interesting options, like loco moco, chicken sandwich, chicken sausage bento, etc. Plus the smoothies looked really yummy and refreshing too. They have a special on a pizza about 10-12" it is eight small pieces for $8.99 up to five toppings but the sauce and cheese are considered one topping each. I added pepperoni, mushrooms and bell peppers. When it was done she brought it to me I went with my husband to Pandas he wanted Chinese so I ate my pizza in the car it was hot n fresh the mozzarella cheese is great on the pizza the toppings are not that much could have put more but all in all I enjoyed my pizza. Took home the other half taste great the next day I crisp the top and bottom tasted great but a few of my pieces only had peppers on it. I'll try it again someday.

As was already in the area the original plan was to fill up at nearby Costco though to my surprise the gas station was under construction and as I was low I decided to search for cheap gas and thought that this Shell station was it as it's right across from Kapolei Shopping Center. Very large and spacious and very easily accessible where I once was a regular at any Shell along with T-Mobile you'd get complimentary Gold Status and with sign up on your first fill up $.30 off gas that you're able to stack with other promotion. As I started my purchase there was question of if I wanted a car wash which was interesting as I didn't know they had one and it's right behind the Oil Changer along with entering your member number for additional discount is very handy and at $4.19 it's a pretty good deal to start. They also have trash and squeegee beside each pump a nice feature also that's not available at many stations. Great quality along with great deal to get me on my way with great perks. Thank you!

Lots of items to shop for, and also has a barbershop inside. Unfortunately they only service military retirees, their families and service connected disability military veterans. The prices are comparable to outside stores. Down the street is the Army National Guard military installation, serving their needs. Lots of parking when not busy.

The store does not carry any alcohol....better go to Malama Market. There's no ATM on the premises...better go to Malama Market. There's no public restroom either...better go elsewhere. Also the store does not sell any musubis, pork hash, manapua, or hot dogs. There's no room for a steamer, warmer, and a hot dog grill. At least Monster and RockStar have their own refrigerators at this location. People can purchase their last minute package beverages, ICEE, ice cream, cigarettes and gasoline at this small convenience store. They told me then to go to my app which I did and pull up the salad. I pulled up a higher priced item salad, which was 4000 points and the salad that I wanted was less expensive. The girls refused to allow me to trade my higher points for a lower point salad. They kept me standing there while they argued with me and all I said was I want to use my points how do I redeem them? they could not show me how to redeem the points on the app. Very poor customer service on their part for not being willing to help me out and walk me through the process and then argue with me over a cheaper salad versus the points I was going to use for more expensive salad
