When I was finally able to use the car wash on 31 July 2017. I did not realize that the car wash was setup to where the customer did not enter a code, but instead there were personnel there to pre-wash the cars and they would enter a code. They did not accept the picture of the receipt nor did they attempt to enter the code. The manager on duty for the location was rude and did not attempt to assist me at all. She just told me without the original receipt that I would have to pay for the car wash again and walked off. So I had to pay for a car wash twice. Once when filling up and then a second time for not having the original receipt. The car wash only has one lane so if I decided to not purchase the car wash it would have been a complete hassle to try and get out. The hours are not posted anywhere. So you have to ask somebody inside the store. I have been on the island of Oahu for a year now and this is the first time I have experience such poor customer service. I will be going to the car wash next to the SeaFood Market which has much better customer service and never purchase a car wash unless I know for sure there is a terminal for entering a code.

Friday, and I needed gasoline... So that I could get home safely... I pulled out my trusty Hele app and thought that I would get 25 cents off of the posted gasoline price, but I was only given 10 cents off, which was the cash price. I questioned the cashier. She was so patient and nice about explaining that the extra 15 cents per gallon is awarded on weekends. Really? I pointed out that Saturday was one hour away. She made a sad face... like she felt my pain... Luckily, I didn't fill the tank all the way up. I told her that I'd return on Saturday... And I did! Yay! I got my 25 cents off per gallon the next day! Hahaha!

Not always the easiest as it does take a bit of effort as the garage is separate from my unit so with this cost effective system that selected Texaco has keeping my ride nice is even easier. This location is in Kapolei and though the standard was is a bit pricier than some of the town location though the ultimate option is cheaper it does have its benefits here along with $2 discount on 8 gallons or more fill up this fill and shine spot is easy and fast as there's no line as each individual wash does take some time versus the drive thru the time saved makes it so worth it all. Stopped by for gas and to take a gander of the wares, typical gas station in Hawaii with islander food and snacks, Manapuas (steam meat buns) Bentos, and Spam Musubis. Sketchy Af Meter (6/10) area is not in that good of an area and I would get weary with kids and at night here as lots of people just standing around outside doing who knows what. Walked in and a few customers were swearing out loud and arguing about something loud and long enough to make you wanna leave and go elsewhere. As was already in the area the original plan was to fill up at nearby Costco though to my surprise the gas station was under construction and as I was low I decided to search for cheap gas and thought that this Shell station was it as it's right across from Kapolei Shopping Center. Very large and spacious and very easily accessible where I once was a regular at any Shell along with T-Mobile you'd get complimentary Gold Status and with sign up on your first fill up $.30 off gas that you're able to stack with other promotion. As I started my purchase there was question of if I wanted a car wash which was interesting as I didn't know they had one and it's right behind the Oil Changer along with entering your member number for additional discount is very handy and at $4.19 it's a pretty good deal to start. They also have trash and squeegee beside each pump a nice feature also that's not available at many stations. Great quality along with great deal to get me on my way with great perks. Thank you!

Finding myself in Waipahu for a reason…read more.. After visiting a nearby business and days and days and daeaaaays of rain I basically can't see outside my window even after squeegee washing my windows...it was time. Poof I see a self serve car wash called "isle wash" right beside Aloha Island Mart and decided to give it a try, no lines no fuss just me and my ride lol! With three types of wash to choose from I just chose the cheapest at $13 was still a bit high for a self serve I thought but I'm not doing this in the hot sun so here we go! Yes it's the basic wash all with a touch of a button and credit card the process was fast and easy. Did it get all my grimy dirt off my ride...yup but not all the water...infact that was the worse part and is a good thing I do carry a microfiber towel at all times so I pulled into a nearby parking lot and towel dried my car top to bottom...I probably should've gone on the freeway fast lane then have done that lol!! Though I do love the convenience and it did what I needed to get done. Thank you!
