PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT Do NOT use the air pump machine at Safeway Honestly, would it be too much trouble to place an OUT OR ORDER sign as soon as you learn something is "out of order"? I mean, if I am not the first customer who had an issue with it, the same day, maybe let's use common sense and don't let anyone else use it? Just an idea! ‍‍ My tire pressure was at 30psi and that piece of poop machine they have a Safeway in Ewa, instead of dispensing air, took all the air out I left with 13psi. Luckily my tires are run flat! All the gas station could do for me was to finally put an "Out of order" sign on it... at my request!! The cashiers were super nice and sympathetic; but, come on Safeway management... keep your equipment in shape, or take it out!

You can't go wrong with having the cheapest gas on Oahu that doesn't require a membership card you need to pay for. Also, you can get an additional ten cents off per gallon if you use your debit card or pay in cash. Located in Ewa Beach along Keaunui Drive, it's very convenient to get in and out of. Though, there's no dedicated driveway to the gas pumps, but it is known to drivers where to wait for the open pump. I'm not sure how busy this station gets, but I can imagine it being hectic because there's such a short amount of space for cars to wait until you're on the main roadway. Luckily, there were only a few cars when I came. The convenience store was very clean, organized, well-stocked, and every item was Safeway priced, not the jacked up convenient store prices. There needs to be more Safeway Gas Stations around the island located outside of town. You know it will be crazy if you put one in town.

Safeway sells gas? Not!!! Who knew? Now you do! For real! Use your Safeway card/membership for discounted gas at the pump. Cheap gas & conveniently located and **accessible. Located on Fort Weaver Road. I'll take the cheap gas and the sometimes longer than usual wait - any day. **Easily accessible without a wait during non peak hours (between 3-6pm). One way into the pumps (much like that of Costco) with idiots not wanting to move up to see which pumps are open - instead opt to wait at the first pump and in turn backing up the traffic onto Keaunui Drive.

    I can make it?!?!?

I can make it. It's a gas station so what can I possibly write? Well located at the Laulani Village Shopping Center the actual entrance is from Palau Street. During busy hours (like rush hour), I see some cars block the intersection waiting for a pump. Just a head up people that some vehicles are going straight to pull in to housing and some just want to turn into the shopping center to get a parking space. Either way don't block the intersection. There's around 14 pumps and they all seems to work every time I'm there. That's because I was at pump 14 last time and walked to the cashier for prepaid gas. Remember gas is 10 cents cheaper per gallon if you pay with cash. Hey I'm still paying for my dinner at Tamorima. I'll ask if you read that review later. Anyway you can grab some snacks here and the place is pretty clean. If you have to use the restroom, you don't have to hold your breath. Just make sure your there before me, anyway. Lastly remember to use your Safeway club card if you have any for points you can use towards gas. Overall three stars. The enterance into the place could be better laid out. Some people come from the parking lot and cut in front of cars waiting patiently in Palau street. Now excuse me, I have to get a gallon of milk. Wonder where to go? M

Not bad. Use those gas rewards!

The station is reopened! Traffic flow is difficult around it but it's worth the price, cheapest gas on the island.

I have never gone to this location in the past 5 years without there being some homeless person sitting or sleeping right in the front. They aren't bothersome, but just a precaution for those who might be a little stiff about that. Especially at night! Workers are fast and efficient as expected at 711. Stock is regularly up-kept. Place always has napkins and the essentials for your drop in. We haven't had a slurpee in a long time, but I remember this location always have liquid spinning, rather than ready to serve frozen slushy. Lastly, get your receipt or at least pay close attention to the card reader. The cashier manually punches in the total since their register and card reader are separate. I was once charged $41 for a $14 transaction. Thankfully, I kept my receipt so when I noticed it on my card statement, I was able to go back and get it corrected. It was a very annoying process cuz the 4 workers were asking me which register I was at and who cashed me out - like I was supposed to remember. The issue was resolved tho!

The spam musubi was good, simple and satisfying comfort food. However, the karaage chicken was a bit disappointing as it tasted more like chicken nuggets than karaage. The fried rice loco moco was not that satisfying either. The gravy was overly salty, and the patty was just average, nothing to write home about. Overall, it's an average meal that does the job of filling you up, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Prices are very competitive to other gas stations. I don't even think about it when I fill up because I know the price is good. For air and water you have to drive to the side into the parking lot. By the south side of the building is the air and water. You may need to go to the register inside to get the air nozzle giving your ID for collateral. Most of the time it is working. Most of the time anyway. Inside you can find an assortment of food and beverages for your beach outing or simply for the home. There are some miscellaneous items like auto stuff and nick knacks available too. I watch for sales especially on the veges. Carrots for 50 cents, beef jerky for $1.50, trail mix for a buck and protein bars for a buck that kind of stuff. Sometimes it gets very busy here. Just need to be patient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many have been there for years and don't want to leave. When you're out in the boonies and not watched much, must be nice.
