With my daily commute from Wahiawā to Kapolei and my weekly trips into Honolulu, I go through gas pretty quickly, so every dollar I save at the pump makes a difference. Yes, the lines can be long, but they move surprisingly fast, and I've never felt like the wait wasn't worth it. The employees keep everything organized, people know the routine, and it's always a smooth experience. When you drive as much as I do, finding a gas station you trust is important. Costco has earned my loyalty, and I honestly don't see myself filling up anywhere else.

Not always the easiest as it does take a bit of effort as the garage is separate from my unit so with this cost effective system that selected Texaco has keeping my ride nice is even easier. This location is in Kapolei and though the standard was is a bit pricier than some of the town location though the ultimate option is cheaper it does have its benefits here along with $2 discount on 8 gallons or more fill up this fill and shine spot is easy and fast as there's no line as each individual wash does take some time versus the drive thru the time saved makes it so worth it all. The gas station is bright and spacious, and had a lot of the items you would typically find and everything you would need. It worked for finding something to eat very early in the morning. LOL

As was already in the area the original plan was to fill up at nearby Costco though to my surprise the gas station was under construction and as I was low I decided to search for cheap gas and thought that this Shell station was it as it's right across from Kapolei Shopping Center. Very large and spacious and very easily accessible where I once was a regular at any Shell along with T-Mobile you'd get complimentary Gold Status and with sign up on your first fill up $.30 off gas that you're able to stack with other promotion. As I started my purchase there was question of if I wanted a car wash which was interesting as I didn't know they had one and it's right behind the Oil Changer along with entering your member number for additional discount is very handy and at $4.19 it's a pretty good deal to start. They also have trash and squeegee beside each pump a nice feature also that's not available at many stations. Great quality along with great deal to get me on my way with great perks. Thank you!

Lots of items to shop for, and also has a barbershop inside. Unfortunately they only service military retirees, their families and service connected disability military veterans. The prices are comparable to outside stores. Down the street is the Army National Guard military installation, serving their needs. Lots of parking when not busy.

For those that don't like to fight or spend that much time to pump gas at Costco this Hele gas station is a great option though it does require a bit of effort for some I guess lol because at the time for this visit it was 4.37 for cash and 4.42 for credit (that's still a great price!) which is where the 7-Eleven comes in the picture besides the convenience for muchies is where to find some deals on gas. Lovely huge lot with lots of pumps including squeegee to a quick touch up it's a great rest stop for any necessities you may have including having a Starbucks just a few steps away along with parking stalls throughout is always appreciated, no membership is required to take advantage of these perks right here in Kapolei. For people who have not been to the gas station...it is very small. Five people maximum inside the store. Entrance to the gas station is the same for Malama Market. Please do not come in the wrong way. The employees don't need any confrontations between customers in front of the store. Store hours has been cut so it's best to get to the store before the 7pm closing. Also when going into the store...make sure to wear a mask. The store does not carry any alcohol....better go to Malama Market. There's no ATM on the premises...better go to Malama Market. There's no public restroom either...better go elsewhere. Also the store does not sell any musubis, pork hash, manapua, or hot dogs. There's no room for a steamer, warmer, and a hot dog grill. At least Monster and RockStar have their own refrigerators at this location. People can purchase their last minute package beverages, ICEE, ice cream, cigarettes and gasoline at this small convenience store. Types of payment accepted at the store are cash, debit, and credit card. Sorry EBT not accepted at this store. Also customers can purchase the Aloha Petroleum gift card at this store. Aloha gift cards can be used as payment at this shop. There is a air/water machine outside and it costs $1.50 in quarters. This gas station is a life saver on Makakilo drive. There have been so many times that I've coasted…read moreon my last gallon of gas to this gas station for an emergency fill up before heading up. You literally hit this gas station five seconds after getting off the highway so its super convenient, However, the configuration of the gas station and adjoining parking lot to Malama Market is designed to ensure that car accidents happen. I have seen so many near misses and fender benders of cars backing out of the lot while cars try to pull into it for gas. This parking lot is also an area for people to drop others off, switch cars, switch drivers, switch children, I have no idea of what is going on here but it sure is very active for being a gas station and parking lot. Note- do not try to get gas here before your morning commute into town, you will be late for work. It's normally packed and you have to wait for the person in front of you to finish filling up before you can go anywhere and sometimes that's 2 cars! Fill up in the evening time.
