First and foremost I have been struggling to find a decent hair salon ever since moving to Denver. I have seen three different people and three different places and Heinz is the place I will keep going to. I realized today I desperately need a trim and called them and they had an appointment available within a couple of hours. As soon as I walked in they greeted me with a robe to wear, offered to take my sweater, gave me coffee- it was just so warm and welcoming. Niki did a brazilian blowout on my hair, ruined my hair. I lost 30% of my hair and it will take years before it will be repaired. I found out after she did the service that she wasn't even certified, no official training. It's very disappointing that I was charged $300 for a procedure that was done by an employee of Heinz Salon who wasn't properly trained. My hair loss has traumatized me greatly. They were able to accommodate my tight schedule for a trial and they took my rough ideas for my up-do and created a beautiful style that incorporated my headpiece. Great! Great! Great! Where to start...I'm someone with fine, thin hair, so every hair mistake shows up like a black eye....yuck!!! Well, my stylist of 4 years, who I thought was great, ruined my hair just before a family wedding. The cut was unmanageable and the color was brassy yellow. She never called me to schedule a color correction after several phone calls to her salon. So here I am looking for a new stylist. Heinz and Company came recommended by a friend of a friend. So after reading the reviews on Yelp and reviewing Heinz's website, I decided to get a consultation with Jeannie. After my consultation, I made the appointment. It took Jeannie 3 hours to correct the color and give me a spectacular cut!!! Jeannie took my brassy yellow color to a beautiful highlight. She really had to work hard to correct the mess. Then, she cut my fine, thin shoulder length locks into an inverted bob....too cute!!! What a precision cut!!! And, OMG, it gave me back 10 years to my face/profile. Instead of 59, I definitely look 49. And, I feel even younger!!! My husband, 23 yr old son, his gf, my daughter-in-law, and my 2 bffs also love the cut and color.
