There is so much talent under one roof at Heinz Salon in Wash Park! Hesitant of letting go of my long locks, I stayed in a 'just a trim off the layers, please' comfort zone. Raechel makes me glow when I leave and she's open to assist if I need an extra special style. So when I was ready to leave the length behind, I knew I could trust her expertise. I let my mane become her canvas as she blew new life into my follicles. She gave me a shag cut that compliments each layer and curl of my hair so perfectly. I fall deeper in love with the style everyday. Both my husband and I are grateful to have an amazing stylist! read more

Heinz is extremely talented. I love getting my haircuts with him. He makes me look and feel fantastic!

I am a tough hair-critic and will spend serious coin for a great hairdresser, so when I give Danielle & Rachel 4 stars, that's a really big deal! Extremely impressed with Danielle's artistry skills on my blonde highlights tonight. This was my first time seeing her as I am new in town and I found her by reading another review on yelp. All of the usual issues that blondes tend to run into were non-issues tonight! Danielle is very well trained in her trade/talented and did a perfect job with my platinum blonde highlights! And Rachel was so friendly, meticulous and detailed in my hair cut that it is absolutely perfect in symmetry and lays beautifully. It is so hard to find someone who cuts hair so well. Overall I am just over the moon to have found a colorist & stylist that can please this "hard-to-please" soul of mine! And...without costing a fortune. I feel like a new woman! * would have given a 5 star review if the salon itself was a little fancier read more

Heinz Salon - Feeling great thanks to Danielle & Rachel - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

A great vibe, super nice staff and I got a great haircut at a great price. Can't complain! :)

I found Heinz and this neighborhood gem 10 years ago and LOVE the expert stylists and friendly atmosphere. Kelly and Heinz do my cuts and Kelly does my color and highlights - not an easy task since I have a LOT of hair. She's helped me get to the best blonde for me while hiding my greys. Everyone is great and my older kids now get their haircuts here too. Highly recommend. read more

By far worst color by Danielle and horrible cut by Raechel. Do not go to either one of them. They're the worst!

Lovely salon. Had the pleasure to get my hair cut by Michael! He takes his time and makes sure the finished product looks perfect! He's brilliant and gives an amazing blow dry. Definitely would recommend this salon! read more

Heinz Salon - Michael is amazing! - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

First and foremost I have been struggling to find a decent hair salon ever since moving to Denver. I have seen three different people and three different places and Heinz is the place I will keep going to. I realized today I desperately need a trim and called them and they had an appointment available within a couple of hours. As soon as I walked in they greeted me with a robe to wear, offered to take my sweater, gave me coffee- it was just so warm and welcoming. Dani was my stylist and she was creative and completely understood what I was going for. She gave me one of the best haircuts I have received and I look forward to seeing her again. ALSO, they offer a complimentary bang trim every few weeks, so you can keep your style in check between cuts. Can't wait to get my hair dyed! read more

OMG!!! I'M IN LOVE!!! This place I found on reviews on yelp and so I decided to try and I'm beyond happy that I did! I got Michael and he did a FANTASTIC job on my unmanageable, unhealthy hair. I walked out of there feeling so good about myself and loving my hair forvthe first time ever!!!!! I have never left a salon feeling that way before. I was also very excited I got the complimentary glass of wine while I got my hair done! I Def recommend this place if you haven't found that place you can go back to time and time again. Very reasonable too! read more

Daniele Liagre has been my color specialist for almost 4 years now. She's a wonder with blonde! I'll never let anyone touch my hair unless she falls off the face of this hair obsessed earth. I've even had people ask if my hair was recently done and it hadn't been for weeks! My friend also uses her for her shorter hair styles and she always looks fabulous! Heinz is lucky to have such amazing staff! Make your appointment with Danielle today!! But please, just don't make her so busy she forgets about my blondification!! read more

Heinz Salon - Day after seeing Danielle!! Looking fresh and feeling fly! - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Heinz is the best hair stylist ever. He is a great person as well. He trains his staff to be the best too.

Stumbled upon Heinz when my husband was looking for a new stylist. Came across Raechel's name and we are glad we did! She does wonderful work and is such a nice person! I ended up using Heinz for my bridal party hair and makeup. All the stylists did wonderful jobs. Such a nice salon! read more

Heinz is a master stylist. Best I've ever gone to. He customizes each cut I get to my face and bone structure. He's extremely personable and the salon is the only one I know that keeps their employees for 10-15 years! There's something to be said for the energy in the salon. It's inviting. Not competitive. They do all the latest hair cuts!! read more

When I used to live in Denver, Heinz was my salon of choice, so it was a no brainer for me to have my wedding hair and makeup done at Heinz as well. They were able to accommodate my tight schedule for a trial and they took my rough ideas for my up-do and created a beautiful style that incorporated my headpiece. As always, I felt completely pampered and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the friendly staff. Also, I really appreciated the staff giving me honest advice on how long of a time to schedule for hair and makeup (my bridesmaids also had their hair done), it helped us better plan our day and made for a more relaxing and less stressful day overall. read more

Heinz Salon - My beautiful up-do! - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Best salon in Denver!! They are on the cutting edge of style and knowledge of what style is the best for you! Heinz is a masterb artist!!

I was in town visiting my sister for a few weeks and needed color and a hair cut. Heinz cuts her hair so she made an appointment for me with Nikki. She did a great job! I have curly hair and some stylist just don't understand how to cut curly hair. She definitely does. Jennifer did my color and I love it! Thank you both for the wonderful job you did! I highly recommend this salon. read more

Nicki is the bomb at giving haircuts! Because of our job choice- we move around from state to state a lot, and it's very difficult trying to find a new stylist at every new location we move to. I stumbled across Heinz Salon only because of the highly recommended reviews. & I'm so glad I did! Nicki was able to accommodate a same day appointment. I will be coming back to Nicki, and cannot wait! She took her time, and made sure everything was perfect with my hair. I don't think I've ever had someone take as much time, attention and detail into cutting my hair, ever. Which means she cares! Honestly, the best hair cutting experience I've ever had. Point blank. read more

Niki did a brazilian blowout on my hair, ruined my hair. I lost 30% of my hair and it will take years before it will be repaired. I found out after she did the service that she wasn't even certified, no official training. It's very disappointing that I was charged $300 for a procedure that was done by an employee of Heinz Salon who wasn't properly trained. My hair loss has traumatized me greatly. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Only salon I trust with my hair! Jenn does great color/highlights & Nikki does a great job at cutting my hair. The rest of the staff is great as well! I can relax and not worry about a bad experience. Go! read more

I have been going to Rachael for over ten years now. She is so attentive to any cut she has given me. I've had so many different styles and each one reflected the precision with which she cuts my hair. Anytime I've ever had an idea for a cut, she was able to replicate what I was asking for. She's professional and a great listener, too! I couldn't be happier with Rachael! read more

Needed update my 'do, completely open to a new look and said so repeatedly. I got a "meh". Disappointing. Was so looking forward to Heinz after reading these reviews. Everyone has an off day, just wish I could've had a cut worthy of a glowing review. Will try another salon. read more

I Don't trust anyone with my curly hair except Rachel! I tend to change my hair up a lot and I'm always impressed. She can do traditional cuts, but what's really impressive is her creative cuts, which focus more on creating the best shape and style with a more artistic, fluid approach. She's given me bangs, a pixie, a bob, and I'm always happy with the result! read more

Finding a good men's haircut is not easy. I recently started going to Heinz salon to see Makayla and it is literally the most immaculate haircut I've had. I've never had more compliments on my hair. I'm lucky to have someone who cares about the way my hair looks! Heinz approached once while I was getting my hair done and mentioned he had never had a better haircut either. His hair really did look SHARP! Thanks again to all making me feel comfortable and welcome. -David Sisson read more

I just called and asked for a price on a haircut. I specified it would just be the split ends, nothing really fancy. JUST THE SPLIT ENDS. Whoever answered the phone was not the friendliest to say the least; she sounded annoyed to talk to me and quoted me $55.00!!!!! Uhmmm..NO THANKS! $55 for cutting off your ends is EXTREMELY RIDICULOUS! read more

Nicki is amazing! She takes the time to get to know your hair to give you the best possible haircut. I am so happy I found a stylist that knows what to do with my hair! I made the mistake of going somewhere else to get my haircut, and didn't get the haircut I wanted. Nicki was able to fix it and now it is perfect! read more

This is a salon that is trying to be the Cherry Creek North salons. It just does not have the level of stylists and class to compete. I went there wanting a bob. I was sent to the "best haircut person there is". She cut my hair so unevenly I had to book an appt at another salon. They even said the cut was mediocre. However, the worst thing that has ever happened to me at a salon. The Hispanic cutting my hair spoke to another Hispanic in Spanish. I didn't know what they were saying--and frankly, I didn't like that my stylist wasn't looking at my hair--she was having conversations read more

Great! Great! Great! Where to start...I'm someone with fine, thin hair, so every hair mistake shows up like a black eye....yuck!!! Well, my stylist of 4 years, who I thought was great, ruined my hair just before a family wedding. The cut was unmanageable and the color was brassy yellow. She never called me to schedule a color correction after several phone calls to her salon. So here I am looking for a new stylist. Heinz and Company came recommended by a friend of a friend. So after reading the reviews on Yelp and reviewing Heinz's website, I decided to get a consultation with Jeannie. After my consultation, I made the appointment. It took Jeannie 3 hours to correct the color and give me a spectacular cut!!! Jeannie took my brassy yellow color to a beautiful highlight. She really had to work hard to correct the mess. Then, she cut my fine, thin shoulder length locks into an inverted bob....too cute!!! What a precision cut!!! And, OMG, it gave me back 10 years to my face/profile. Instead of 59, I definitely look 49. And, I feel even younger!!! My husband, 23 yr old son, his gf, my daughter-in-law, and my 2 bffs also love the cut and color. Jeannie is a super sweet person with a great personality. I love her. She is my new stylist. The rest of the staff is friendly. The salon is clean. And, you'll love the very flexible, accommodating hours. If you have any doubts, just make an appointment with Jeannie, and you WILL be soooooo HAPPY!!! read more

I started going to this salon when Lisa H started! She is my hair stylist and I will follow her anywhere! When Lisa has been unavailable I had Raechel or Danielle work with my hair! Great colorist and all have incredible skills!! I highly recommend this place to anyone because of the two stylists I have met and now created a fantastic friendship as well!! Lisa, Raechel or Danielle would be my recommendation if you are looking for just a basic haircut, color or brow wax! They have many other services and the times I have been in most clients have long hair and technical services!! Hope this helps anyone who maybe in the area!! Go to this salon!! read more

I've been seeing Danielle for my hair high lights for the past year. She is excellent with the color and very efficient! Fun to talk to also. Then I have Rachel cut my hair. I have think wavy hair and after all these years I finally have found the perfect cut. She is warm, and very focused with how she cuts hair. I highly recommend both!! read more
