We have had Heilig Tree Service to our property previously to trim some trees. Recently, we had a 30 year old tree blow over during the high winds. Once again, we called Heilig Tree Service to come out and remove the fallen tree and in addition they also cut down a large pepper tree. They are definitely experts at what they do. We highly recommend them and will use them again whenever the need arises. read more

Heilig just removed a huge pine tree from our front yard. They did a great job, safely taking down all the branches and trunk pieces, leaving us firewood length wood, and mulching all the other bits. Pricing was quite reasonable. They worked quickly and safely. Highly recommend. read more

Heilig's Tree Service - Tree Services Near Me - El Cajon, California

I had a fantastic, top notch, experience with Heilig's Tree Services. I reached out about spots on the leaves of my baby eucalyptus tree, and Dylan was incredibly helpful. He asked me to send a picture of the issue, and within no time, he diagnosed the problem as bugs. When he came out to my house to fix my tree, He was knowledgeable and gave me the run down of what he would do and educated me on the bugs. Then he applied a special medicine (or magic) directly into the trunk. Dylan's expertise and genuine care for my tree made all the difference. I highly recommend them for all your tree needs. Thank you, Heilig's! read more

The Heilig's absolutely know trees. They recently completed 4 days of work on our property. They removed one tree, trimmed/pruned 9 others, treated 4 for diseases, making our property much safer and improving tree health. They dropped chips exactly where I needed and they neatly stacked the cut wood. The best part is they are professional, personable and reasonable. We will definitely be having Dylan, Ron and the rest of the family back to prune and shape the trees after a year or so of growth. read more

We had Heilig's Tree Service remove a very large Eucalyptus in our yard that we were afraid would eventually blow over. Dillon climbed the tree and brought the tree down to a stump with no problems. They were excellent, fair price and cleaned up everything after the job was done. We will always use them in the future and would recommend them to anybody needing any type of tree service. read more

Just had Heilig for 2 days trimming multiple trees (willow, pine, oaks, palms). Dillon and his crew were very efficient and did an excellent job. They worked great together and cleaned all areas. Advice was given on the health of the trees. Dillon knows what he is doing. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend Heilig Tree Service. read more

The Heilig team came out to remove three trees for us. Two of them were extremely tall and dead. They were difficult and dangerous to remove. They safely removed all of the trees for us. They were vey professional, cleaned up before they left and the cost was reasonable. This is a locally owned family business. We are happy to give them our business and will call them the next time we need any tree work done. We could not be happier with the service provided! :) read more

I am a repeat customer of Heilig's Tree Service. The service I required this time consisted of trimming and shaping several trees, removal of a large branch from a tree that was settling on the roof, and cutting back branches from several trees that were encroaching on the perimeter of the lawn. I called Heilig's and left a message indicating the service required. I received a return phone call the next morning asking if I would be available for them to come and scope out the job. Ron and his son Billy were out that afternoon. They spent some time examining the property, then walked me through what they were proposing to do. They explained the more complex tasks in layman's terms and provided an estimate of three days to perform the work. A handshake sealed the deal. They promised to start the work on Monday morning. Ron and his crew were on site and working for almost an hour before I even realized they were here. Ron provided an overview and direction to his crew and they took over from there. They worked quietly and efficiently from one area to another. Care was taken to leave each area in better condition that when they started. When removing the branch that was settling on the roof, they even cleaned the gutters and removed all of the leaves that had accumulated on the roof. Trees were trimmed and branches cut back on the perimeter of the lawn with expertise and precision. I highly recommend Heilig's Tree Service for tree care and trimming. read more

The workers arrived on time and completed quality work. Great communication from start to finish.

Don't hesitate to book Heilig's Tree Service. Their team is professional and knowledgeable. Not only did they do a great job, but Ron diagnosed one of our sick trees and treated it. Our trees look great and they are trimmed to comply with the Fire Safe Program. The Heilig Team cleaned up and left our property better than when they arrived. Heilig is reliable and reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

Ron Heilig and his crew have worked on my property several times over the years - always prompt, professional and fast. I feel completely comfortable paying before the job is done and leaving them to it while I have to be absent. Ron will give advice when asked and always has my best interests at heart. The crew is very respectful of my property - for instance always closing gates they use as well as taking all scraps of timmings with them. I am lucky to him as a neighbor and tree service go to company read more

This local family of all ages came to our property today to cut down trees, cut off large branches and trim back and shape several VERY tall trees. They were early. They were quiet (other than the saws, haha). They stacked the wood in neat piles. After shredding the branches and leaves with their own (like new) equipment, they left me a great pile of mulch! I cannot say enough about this professional family and highly recommend them for a job well done !!! read more

Ron and his crew did a great job for me! Ron returned my call promptly and was very friendly. He showed up exactly when he said he would and patiently answered all my questions. He was just as prompt in giving me a quote, which easily beat two other companies I talked with. They showed up this morning ready to work! I don't think they even took a break. In just one day they trimmed two large trees and removed another. The trees look natural and are shaped beautifully. I'm even more impressed with the way they cleaned up. I was left with a nice stack of firewood. Everything else was chipped, raked, blown or hauled away. The area looks much better then before they arrived. Hard working - Professional - Friendly - Priced right. I had a great experience with Ron Heilig's Tree Service. Debbie Schultz read more

Heilig Tree Service, is very professional yet a friendly touch, Ron and the people who work with and for him, get the job done in a timely manner. Ron goes above and beyond for his customers. Service with a smile. Most of the time you dont find a person that does extra so it looks great. I would not go to another Tree service. My husband had a Tree business, and praised his work to many. Thank you Ron read more

I had a very large tree grown over my house and power lines. Ron Heilig met with me and carefully explained the procedure of how his crew would solve my problem. Instead of cutting down the whole tree, Ron's crew trimmed it back away from my home and power lines. They also were careful not to disturb my landscape and cleaned up everything they cut. Price was very reasonable. I also checked to make sure his company was licensed, bonded and insured (which they were). I highly recommend these guys! read more

Sorry to have to put this review up, they never showed up after scheduling with them, the woman answering was very friendly and there was no conflict. No call back to reschedule or letting us know no-show. We waited 2 days and called again, left msg and no callback reply. We live on a reservation and would hate to think they we discriminating or worse yet racist. We hope not. Either way they get a bad review for their action. read more

Ron and his guys did an awesome job for us. We had a tree threatening our house in the winds. Ron was prompt, friendly and very reasonable. He listened to what we wanted and followed it to the letter. He and the guys also made a cute table for us out of the main trunk of the tree... a few cuts and it became a rustic table. We will definitely recommend his service all over! He also has a lovely bucket truck to reach the higher trims... well equipped and very smart in his work! read more

We had a large dead Liquid Amber tree that need cut down along with a stump grind. Also had 2 other very large trees that needed laced. I called 6 different companies and only 2 called me back. Ron Heilig responded quickly, gave me a reasonable quote and stuck to it. Ron and his crew showed up as scheduled with all the necessary equipment to safely complete the job. They cut the dead tree into firewood and gave us a pile of good mulch for our yard. The crew was friendly, worked quickly and they were very thorough about clean-up. I was very happy with the service of Ron, the owner, and the Helig Tree Service. I called on Wednesday to get an estimate on having a large dead pine tree removed and to trim a tree that had grown over the power line to my house. Ron came by on Thursday gave me a good fair estimate. He and his crew were here Friday morning. His crew were obviously experienced and friendly. I have numerous trees on my property and I will be calling them back for all my tree service work in the future. Very happy with them and would recommend them to other people. read more

My experience with Heilig's Tree Service couldn't have been more positive. We had 3 huge oaks that needed to come down. Ron and his guys took the time and brought the equipment to do the job right. His crew was cheerful and accommodating. They were pleasant and polite, but when they were working, they were all business. I'd told Ron part of my concern was that I didn't want anyone getting hurt on the job and these guys took their safety seriously. They dropped the trees, left me the firewood, ran the branches through the chipper and cleaned up the mess before they left. Having cut my own firewood for years, in my younger days, of course, I thought I knew how to drop a tree and clear the brush. These guys were amazing. I'm looking forward to using them again, as I have several eucalyptus trees that need attention. I wouldn't hesitate to call Ron and his crew to work for me, nor would I hesitate to recommend them, unreservedly to my friends. read more
