We've tried pretty much every place in the Bradenton area for grooming our Water Dog. Paws, on Anna…read moreMaria, used to be great, but it changed hands a while ago and has gone steadily downhill since (not the groomer but the owner). The larger pet stores "head 'em up move 'em out", and are sometimes really rough. We tried Dirty Dog a few times but after the third, our dog dug his heels in and absolutely refused to go in - unusual behavior for him. Then we found Fei Fei. Could not be happier. She takes her time with the dogs, gets to know them. She's got a good training background in positive reinforcement, which is how our pups are all trained. By the third visit, our dog couldn't wait to go back and see her. Additionally, her prices are more than fair. She pet sits at her home, so far as we can tell, and when we got there early one morning and watched her arrive, she had a number of dogs on leash that were all well fed, well groomed, and happy looking. There are cages, but I'm not sure what they're used for because whenever we've been there, the dogs are happily on the incredibly clean floor, playing with each other and having a grat time. Highly highly recommend her and her business. We drive almost an hour to get there, and it's worth it. Oh. Last note - her grooming is FABULOUS. The dog never stinks of perfumed spray, the cut is always perfect. I wish we could take her with us everywhere.

Arrived for appointment, woman at desk said three times yes she needs her nails cut. My wife went over how other groomers have been able to get them cut. Next the woman picked up the dog, but was not holding her tight and she jumped from her arms toward my wife and hit the wall and almost fell. We should have left. Just over an hour later we got a call that she was done. Upon pick up, they say they couldn't cut her nails. So they still have her a bath, why wouldn't you call the owner and explain this and give the option to continue when it was already stressed why she was coming in? Set up is not good, as if a dog does get away from staff they can easily run out if someone opens the door into a very busy parking lot. Sorry but we cannot recommend.

It was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. From start to finish their team was very communicative and you can tell customer service is at the top of their priority list! My dog was nervous being in a new situation and environment but they were very patient with him. I was so happy to learn from his report card (which the manager went over with me when I picked him up) that he was already in great shape! They do a whole wellness check, checking his skin, coat, teeth, nails, etc. every visit. He smelled amazing and was so happy when I picked him up. The store was clean and well organized. They offer a monthly membership, with different levels depending on the services you need, but you can always drop in for a la carte services without a membership. I will be back!
