Croissant sandwich list
Sandi I.

Our road trip go to! Near the intersection of the 405 and 22 next to ice rink. The donuts are fresh, but we come here for their amazing breakfast sandwiches, whenever we go on a road trip. Ask for your sandwich to be heated. They are delicious and well worth the price. The owner is always kind, enthusiastic and helpful. Beware this is a local favorite. There's almost always a line in the morning for the sandwiches, coffee and donuts!! Heidi's has been there a long time. The ambience is nothing to write home about, yet it is a local favorite and the breakfast sandwiches are incredible.

1. The donut was so fresh and soft! I also love that the sandwich had jalapeños in it! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with few tables inside! 3. The staff were friendly and sweet! They have good interactions with regulars, and one of them offer me a plate for my food photo! 4. Parking is easy, but there is so many speedbumps! Note: There is a surcharge for credit card transactions! Photo: Sprinkled Chocolate Donut, Mocha Iced Blended, Turkey Croissant Sandwich

A cute little older couple runs this place. The croissants are soft and yummy. My daughters love the donut holes and chocolate chip croissants. I personally like the regular butter croissants or the game and cheese. Depending on the day they do run out so get there early for the best selection. They also have bottled juices, energy drinks and make blended drinks as well. Oh they sell lotto as well!

We were headed toward REI to grab some outdoor chairs and decided to stop at GHOST Sando Shop in Huntington Beach. I've driven past this place plenty of times and never really knew what it was. It also happened to be one of the only places open in the shopping center that early, so we figured, why not? Man, we had no idea what we were missing. We ordered the Melrose for ourselves and a Club for our daughter. Marco took our order and was also the one making the sandwiches. A few minutes after we sat down, he actually walked over and asked me, "Are you sure you want the pepperoncini and tomato on the Club?" My first thought was basically, uhhh... yeah, of course I do! Then it clicked. The Club was for our daughter. Marco had remembered that from our conversation when we ordered and knew that a lot of kids probably aren't exactly excited about pepperoncini and tomatoes. Meanwhile, Dad over here completely forgot to ask for them off. That might seem like such a small thing, but THAT is customer service. Marco wasn't just taking an order, collecting payment, and moving on to the next customer. He was actually paying attention. He remembered who the sandwich was for and took the extra few seconds to come over and double check before making it. Good looking out, Marco. Seriously. And that wasn't the only interaction we had with him. Marco was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in. He talked with us, answered questions, and even gave us suggestions on other sandwiches we should try the next time we come back. Nothing felt forced or scripted. It was just genuine conversation from someone who seemed to actually care whether we enjoyed our experience. There were only two guys working while we were there, yet everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, the bright green interior gives the place its own personality, and there's plenty of seating inside along with a really nice outdoor patio area. And most importantly, the sandwiches were GOOD. The Melrose was a great first choice, and Melody enjoyed her Club, thankfully without Dad accidentally loading it up with pepperoncini. We also grabbed some Calypso lemonades, which went perfectly with everything. We originally stopped here simply because it was open and convenient. Now it's somewhere we'll intentionally come back to. There are thousands of places where you can buy a sandwich. What makes you remember a restaurant is usually the people behind the counter. Marco made us remember GHOST. Excellent food, clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and genuinely outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back, and next time, Marco, we're taking you up on those recommendations.

I went with the Harvest, which was a bit too salty, but otherwise good. The Dutch Crunch bread here is GOOD--and that's coming from a San Franciscan. It's fluffy and doesn't try to cut up your mouth. I would return. Clean interior with lots of seating, neat bathroom, lots of parking Knocking off a star because they play AI YouTube videos

Like, already planning our return this weekend delicious. Clearly, we need to conduct further research and try a few more things on the menu. So glad I found Paul's deli and that they are making a righteous Reuben on rye with sauerkraut, cheese and a little Russian dressing! So good! I had to try the Katsu Kimchi Butter Chicken at Shootz, and honestly, it was absolutely delicious…read more The chicken was flavorful and crispy, and the combination of the katsu, kimchi butter, and everything else on the sandwich worked really well together. One thing that really surprised me was that they actually put their Mac salad directly on the sandwich. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was seriously so good and added a really nice texture and extra layer of flavor. One thing worth mentioning is that the Mac salad does contain tuna. I honestly haven't had Mac salad with tuna before, but you can't really notice the tuna flavor at all. It just seems to add more depth to the overall flavor. That said, definitely keep it in mind if you have a fish or tuna allergy. Overall, the Katsu Kimchi Butter Chicken was a really unique and delicious sandwich, and I'd definitely order it again.

It was delicious and portion size was great, but the service and promo were frustrating. They had a huge sign advertising FREE Ube Beignets for downloading their app. The cashier told me to download it and redeem it in-app. I tried, but the app didn't have clear instructions on how to redeem. When I went back to ask for help, the original cashier brushed me off saying she was on break, and a male server told me they didn't even have any Ube Beignets available??? Umm, wait it's less than an hour past opening time. Being "out" of a front-and-center promo item 30 minutes after opening feels like a bait-and-switch. Take the sign down if you can't honor it. Food is good, but the experience left a bad taste.

Every time I've been in, the servers have always been polite and friendly, and even when they're busy, everything seems to move along pretty quickly. It's a very nice modern space where you can drink if you want or sit on the patio and enjoy the sun, even busy it's not too loud which is nice. The sandwiches are consistently fresh, filling, and really well made. Their Beef Dip is wonderful, it has tender roast beef, melted cheese, and the au jus makes it an easy recommendation. But my personal favorite is the Turkey Club. The turkey, bacon, Swiss, and fresh bread are already a great combination, but you absolutely have to get their orange sweet and sour sauce with it. That sauce takes the sandwich to another level. Honestly, the sauce alone is delicious and is one of the things that keeps me coming back. Great food, friendly service, and an easy, reliable place to grab a really good sandwich. Definitely deserving of five stars!

The sandwich was slightly longer than what I usually see at other bánh mì shops. And while there were slivers of pickled daikon and carrots, the cucumber slice stretched the entire length of the sandwich. (Could this be a brand differentiator?) The bread was very good, and the crispy pork belly was crunchy and well-seasoned. The pâté had a good flavor and texture. This was my first visit to this location and my first interaction with this brand. I've noticed "THH" shops scattered around Garden Grove and Westminster. Each store has a slightly different look, so I'm guessing they might be franchises. If so, this store represented the brand well with this sandwich.
