i called first around 4pm to ask if they had any apple fritters- this kind lady picked up and said they did, that she could save me some. i asked if they closed at 5pm (online it said they did, and i was afraid we weren't going to make it in time to satisfy my craving) and she said she could stay open until 5:30pm! when we got there, she was so sweet helping us with the reserved apple fritters and also gave us a bunch of extra donuts for free. i didn't get her name but was really thankful for her kindness. my family has been working on the rest of the donuts so i hadn't tried them but the apple fritters were delicious! they were slightly crispy on the outside, glazed nicely, not too sweet, with a good amount of apple. simple and just what i was looking for. thank you! read more

After passing by this place a couple times, I decided it was time to get some donuts. The space inside is small with a couple of chairs and tables. Their donuts are decent. It wasn't that different from other places. Their customer service is what keeps me coming back. The ladies here go above and beyond. First time going at 6am on a Friday morning. The employees were extremely kind and were very sweet. BUT... the quality of the food was not it at all. I ordered a baked ham and cheese croissant which was just okay, but I also order a cold ham and cheese croissant sandwich to go so I can eat it later for lunch since I was headed to work. The sandwich was a huge disappointment, cheap Kirkland style ham, basic iceberg lettuce, and one slice of tomato, no flavor or love! The picture they had advertised looked absolutely nothing like what I got. In total I paid about $14 too, not to mention they were taking a long time to prep the items. I hate to say it, but it was a waste of money and time coming here. read more

The croissant sandwiches are really good and made fresh. Love the couple donut holes thrown in the bag as a surprise most times. The ladies that work here are so nice and remember when me when I come in. I don't go there that often due to distance away from me but I get by when I can. Lived by here for a while and today I finally decided to come in, I tried the ham egg and cheese croissant and it was so good! The two ladies working were very kind and welcoming to me, she even added two donut holes in the bag and didn't charge me ! I came in this morning to get a dozen donuts for the kiddos and they did have a variety to chose from. My only thing is they have a Menu of bagel and croissant sandwiches so I asked the man working if I can get a Cali Veggie Bagel and he said he didn't know how to make it. So meaning he won't try? Did he not get trained? I got a regular bagel instead. Not satisfied. Please train your employees. read more

I didn't realize this place had a Yelp until my insomnia kicked in and I was looking for a donut shop to go to. I love this place. The women here are incredibly friendly. I feel like I'm visiting family every time I come in. I'm going to start calling them auntie now actually lol. They learned my name and my daughter's name from the first visit, when they first took over ownership of this shop. I've been coming here my whole life. They've sent me home with persimmons from their own home. They ask about my family, they are the sweetest with my daughter too. I've had some great conversations with Jenny, I have been going thru some health problems and she'll give me advice. It's shocking how sweet these women are. I'm not usually compelled to write reviews but I owe them this one. I can't recommend this place enough. It's not a fancy donut shop. It's like many other Cambodian donut shops but they are unmatched in customer service and their donuts and food, specifically their ham and cheese croissants, and tamales, they're just so good. I don't usually get anything else like the bagel sandwiches but I see those moving well for them usually. I've tried a lot of other shops in and around the area, and I used to want to be a cop just so I could eat donuts for a living. I'm more than qualified to give this review.
