This shop does not deserve 1 star…read more In April 2016, I took my transmission to Allstate drive shaft to do a full rebuild, Joel quoted $1150, I agreed and he had it ready about 2 weeks later, I guess he didn't rush! He charges my almost $1300, after calling a few times he refunds the difference reluctantly! Three weeks later the tranny started to not shift into overdrive and we brought it back, Joel was rude and said nothing was wrong and sent us on our way. I return a few weeks later and Joel tells me does not have a worker and to come back in a few weeks, not happy but what could we do? It was under warranty and so he had to fix it. Two weeks later I return and he again claims nothing is wrong, I go with him to test drive and he feels the issue. He said he was going on vacation and again bring it back in 2 weeks! He tells me to continue driving it as it won't do anymore damage! One day later, it stops shifting altogether! Two weeks later, July 5, 2016 , we bring it back, he says he is not going to fix or refund my money. Luckily, I paid with my credit card and my bank issued me a refund the same day. I later find out this shop does this to many people in the area, so please DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ALLSTATE DRIVESHAFT. The bureau of automotive is investigating this incident. Beware of this shop, This shop knows how to work Yelp and gets negative items removed, must be nice!

They are terrible, truly screwed me over and almost had to take them to small claims court. I've…read morenever dealt with a worse mechanic shop. Spent $1600 on repairs to my car a year ago and already everything they've done has had to be replaced. They put in front struts, one of which quickly went bad. Had 2 separate mechanics tell me the strut needed replacement after Liberty had just put new ones in, so I returned to Liberty since they were still under warranty. Bijan refused, saying there was nothing wrong with it, even though you could literally see the bolt being pulled through the metal. After much argument, I had to pay out of pocket for a new one and had to go directly through O'Reillys where the part had been purchased from to get reimbursement, where I also found out that Liberty had charged me almost 2x as much for the struts as he had purchased them for. I later took the old strut back to show Bijan and he admitted it was bad. They claim they believe in preventive maintenance but they just want to do a bunch of unnecessary work they can charge you for. A year ago they claimed I needed new rear struts and a new axle because the the engine was resting on the broken axle, sagging down several inches. A year and several mechanics later, the rear struts are still fine and the axle is fine-the mechanic I had look at it said it has a tiny crack in it but replacing it wouldn't improve the safety or performance of the car, it would be an unnecessary repair. Seriously, avoid this place, they don't honor their warranties, will do unnecessary repairs, overcharge, and all the work they did to my car just needed to be redone by another mechanic.

Second, I took my 2013 jeep wrangler with 82,000 miles to this shop for the dreaded lifter tick. I dropped off on a Wednesday afternoon ahead of my appointment that coming Monday. By Friday late morning, they called to tell me what needed to be done and the cost. By late Tuesday morning it was finished. It was there almost a week but it was completed in 2 days.. not counting the weekend. It wasn't cheap but they fixed what I needed. Btw... the cost was on par for what I had expected Great! I had originally taken to another local shop a couple weeks prior which they claimed they don't have the tools To fix the tick. But they had no peoblem taking 1500 to fix another issue. They said apart was being transported so I waited again and went there by 4:30 dropped off my rental car, which was right there. Everything was great. I'm not sure who worked on my car but it's running great. My mileage is up between 35 and 40 mpg I do have a hybrid. All the value of what they do is so much better than the dealership because they're actually looking at the car each individual car. At the dealership, you don't have a choice they don't speak to you. They don't listen to your concerns about your vehicle they treat every car the same at the dealer. I'm so glad I found Ultimate Motors. I've been twice for an oil change a tuneup and a battery change all the service was done well. I appreciate it so much.

"your car just needs a new ac compressor, $1800"…read more interesting- i had brought it in for overheating and an oil leak. i don't care about the ac, and don't usually use it- why does that matter if it's off? "the ac compressor uses the same belt as the water pump, so it's the problem". um, ok. what about the oil leak? "we can't diagnose that until you fix the AC, because it's in the way and all" cool. not gonna sink that money in, so pay $140 diag fee, start driving the 20m to my home deep in the desert. immediately notice that there's no power steering. as i'm getting within a mile of my destination it stalls. low battery. pop the hood, and two interesting things pop out to me: 1. the a/c is on its own dedicated belt. nothing else. you could remove it and disable ac but prevent any of the other issues. i did not need to pay for an ac compressor to fix or diagnose anything else. they could have just pulled the belt. 2. there's a second belt, that's goes to both the power steering and the alternator. it is completely missing. turns out it was sitting in the back seat. fortunately my friend wasn't far behind me. we jumped it for a bit to get the battery good enough to go back down the hill. they did refund the diag fee, which was nice.
