However, my previous dentist had sold the business to Wright Jacobs. I called and they said come in for an evaluation. Basically to talk to me and take a look. After looking, they said they couldn't cover the entire cost but would give me 20% off. The 20% off they quoted was the exact same price as full price at my current dentist. So I decided to stick with my current dentist. later, I got a bill for $80 for that evaluation, which was merely opening my mouth, looking at the temporary crown, and saying no we can't cover the entire thing. Seems a bit unfair to charge somebody for doing nothing. They never stated that it would cost for the eval. And then quoting a full price yet saying it was discounted.

Not to mention some of my favorites like Chantel who is an amazing person to not just talk to and laugh with while she is working on me but takes her time with her work and explains everything in simple terms with me if I have any questions she always answers them and is even trying to convince me to become a dental assistant which she thinks i will be good at based on my understanding of teeth even though sometimes she makes me bleed my own blood (our inside joke). In fact, when I lived away from Cincinnati for 5 years I never got a new dentist in the town I was living in. I would just schedule my appointments for when I was back visiting in Cincinnati. He attends dental conferences every year and I am very impressed with his desire to stay current by continuing to learn what is new in the field of dentistry. He will not sell you on things you don't need and you can be sure that is he is offering a type of procedure in his office it has been researched to the fullest extent.
