He did his thing, we had a chat, seemed like a nice guy, said he couldn't give me a quote immediately as his laptop was dead. Fair enough. Told me to expect it either over the weekend or on the Monday. No quote was forthcoming. I followed up 3 times over the next few weeks to try and get the quote. Finally, to give one last opportunity before I wrote a review, I called 2 weeks ago and was told the technician would call me back that day. Not surprisingly I heard nothing. I can only assume that the tech is assuming this job isn't worth his time as he'll make more elsewhere. Really wanted it to work out with these guys. I know a couple of guys who know the owner/manager and they have alot of good things to say about him. Unfortunately I can't even get a quote.

UPDATE: Another plumbing item had me dialing up TCR again, to help out with a kitchen sink issue…read more My call was answered promptly, routed to the scheduler/dispatcher that had a spot for me reserved within 3 hours of the call. Joe came well within the allotted time and was very positive and helpful. He had an idea of what to do, informed me of it so I could give the OK to proceed and then he went about to acquire all that was needed. He had the sink issue fixed in great time and with minimal interruption to my day as well as minimal cleanup afterwards. Parts and labor were within what I expected to pay for such service. I am very pleased with Joe and TCR, another great service call and awesome resolution!

I had a really good experience with Nick from here today! Service was fast, friendly and…read moreinformative. I had been experiencing a very high water bill and hoped that it was just my running toilet and not some bigger issue. Nick took the time to listen, explain how much waterloss I was probably experiencing and even showed me where my water meter was and how to track leaks by looking at the numbers! Above and beyond there! Honestly, (to the business model) it was a bit more expensive than I had hoped, and I was kinda put-off by the repeated idea of getting a membership to receive discounts later on (kind of an insurance plan to use this company), but I am happy with the results and understand why they are trying to sell their plans. I will add that Nick was a very non-pressure guy when it came to the proscribed options and was very direct with what would work best for me. They are very lucky to have such an excellent employee.

They scheduled for the next day (which was fine, I called at 4pm and the leak was extremely slow) and sealed up around the valve. The charge was $145 but I don't think that's unreasonable for in-home service. It's not like I'd be able to repair the thing myself. Unfortunately the next day I noticed the leak was still going, though much slower than before. The guy came out 2 hours after I called, and this time replace the tubing. He let me know the reason for the leak was because the tube was supposed to have a metal bit inside to keep the plastic firm against the shut-off valve, but this particular hose was installed with just plastic. The replacement for the tube and this particular visit was no extra cost, it was just included in the $145 I had already paid. No leaks since then, and I'm sure I'd use these guys again if I ever have another plumbing problem.
