We've submitted a case to the Better Business Bureau; hopefully that will help us get the work finished. While I hesitate to say we've been scammed, someone who paid for the work already (our mistake!) should be near the top of your priority list, not placed on the back burner for 2 months. While he may have had a lot of personal issues delaying the work, 2 1/2 months is more than enough time.
