For our main entrees my husband ordered the pasta carbonara and I ordered my favorite pasta bolognese. WOW this is the best pasta bolognese I've found so far in the United States. The flavors brought me back to Tuscany and the pasta made in house was perfect! My husband enjoyed his dish but he is not as big of a fan of the large pieces of pancetta, but that is more of his own personal preference. We ended our meal with decaf espressos and dessert. My husband had the cannoli and I had the tiramisu. It was the best way to end our meal and we enjoyed every last bite. No issue with that for me, other than they should have a little clearer direction versus the perceived looks that I should have known that. My suggestion - post something to let the customer know so they don't stand around bewildered. While we were eating our treat, we did see many people go through the same struggle. Next, the workers should not lie. My husband has some disabilities from a medical problem and I asked if they had a regular spoon I could get versus the very small gelato utensil. They right out told me "no, they did not have any other type of spoon". So he used what they had, which made the experience difficult. As we were eating, I noticed they had pies and some other desserts in the case (see photos). I then asked if you ordered a slice of pie, what do they give you to eat it with. Well, what a surprise, the cashier pulled out a lovely regular spoon with a long handle. I asked why they didn't say that before and no one could respond. I do know more than likely it is not the workers fault, but how they were trained by the manager. I will end on a good note, which is why I have given this a 3-star and not a 1-star. The GELATO - was great. We ended up with lemon pie and vanilla & two varieties of chocolate hazelnut. We shared them and loved the taste.
