Well, I may be in the minority here but I didn't think it was worth the wait. The staff was kind but the brioche sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. The waffle cone was very crispy so you don't have to worry about it getting soggy. I wish I could try the ice cream but it would take much longer and I'm sure they don't like giving out free product. I wanted the coffee drink with the ice cream inside but the cashier insisted the bread was the way to go. It wasn't fresh and it just didn't go. Anyhow, I'll try the gelato outside near Italy next time! It's clean inside and it's narrow, so beware of bringing strollers in.
On hot days when you're walking through Epcot, this is definitely a refreshing treat. The lines can be long. You order at the counter, then you go stand in another line to give them your ticket for the items ordered. I wish they had seasonal peppermint flavor for gelato, but they do not. They did have a seasonal macaroon with peppermint. And I did enjoy that. But my sister set a reminder her of medicine,lol. Worth a try!
My son had done a lot of research for where we should eat at Epcot and L'Artisan des Glaces was the top of the list. We had brioche buns with ice cream. I chose butter pecan ice cream with caramel in the brioche which is made by using something that looks like a waffle maker. We took ours to go and enjoyed them while waiting for the fireworks. I would recommend trying them. They were really unique and good.
Ordered a Croqué Glace with vanille and raspberry. It is in a brioche roll with a scoop of vanilla and a raspberry drizzle. Very good. Slightly melted and perfect!
Serviceable ice cream shop in Epcot. It didn't have our favorite flavors (pistachio & hazelnut) and there was a decent wait in line at 8:48pm. Ice cream was fine but nothing exceptional. Service was friendly.

I came here to try the viral Croque Glacé which is a brioche bun ice cream sandwich. Overrated. I got the Cinnamon Caramelized Apple ice cream which was good but not spectacular. The brioche bun was not that good. I was expecting it to have a softer and buttery interior, but instead it was kind of dry and lacked flavor. I would have preferred just ordering the ice cream on its own, as the bun seemed like a waste of calories. Overall, the ice cream here is solid, but the Croque Glacé was a miss for me. They also don't let you sample any of the ice cream flavors which was kind of a bummer.
this is our go to place for a quick dessert when at Epcot it is by far the very best place for dessert and we have been coming here for seven years and we have yet to find anything else that matches what you can get here. It is a must stop Location.

Believe the hype Yelp! I was told to check out L'Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion and I'm glad I did. You know I had to try the croque glacé. It's a brioche bun packed with any flavor ice cream you want and then you can choose between chocolate, caramel, or raspberry sauce. I ordered it with the coconut white chocolate ice cream and caramel sauce. The warm brioche bun really makes it! It's really good. They make it fresh in front of you and add a hidden Mickey with the sauce you order. I had to go there twice - each time the line was not long at all. They also have a very efficient way to move the line along. It's a small place so the line can build up outside of the door. You order and pay at the cash register. Then you stand in a second line, give them your receipt, and order your ice cream. I highly recommend L'Artisan des Glaces if you are in the mood for some delicious ice cream while at Epcot!
L'Artisan des Glaces is located in the France section of Epcot and they serve ice cream, sorbet, and other pastries. There was a bit of a wait but the line moved pretty quickly. I got the croque glacé ($9.50) with vanilla and chocolate and it was delicious! I loved the warmness of the brioche bun and the coldness of the ice cream. The combination and difference in texture made it so addicting. This was recommended to me as a place to go and try the croque glacé and now I'm recommending you do the same.
SOOOOO delicious!!! I really enjoyed my cute lil Mickey Mouse ice cream with blueberry yogurt. However, I liked my bf's ice cream better. Now I'm not the biggest fan of mint (I don't hate it) but their mint chocolate chip is something else! It didn't taste artificial or overpowering. It was just PERFECT! Luckily, he didn't know that they give you HEAPING-sized scoops and got 2 scoops so I got to enjoy some of it too. Definitely give this place a try. If you see short lines then it's a good idea to go in because they can get busy. If you see a line out the door, not to worry as it moves fairly fast and definitely worth the wait.
Some of y'all have never ordered from King Taco and it shows. Lol This is a great spot for a cool treat before you stand in that long line next door for croissants. IYKYK. Great quality ice cream and gelato with cup, cone, macron, or brioche(!) options. It is interesting to order and then say it again when you go up to the counter when your number is called. Line moves quickly so it's not a big deal as far as the flow is concerned. read more

L'Artisan des Glaces has been on my go to list for a few years now. I finally had a chance to try it out during my latest Disney World trip for the RunDisney Wine & Dine race in October. L'Artisan des Glaces is in the France Pavilion at Epcot. It's sort of hidden in the back of the France Pavilion. It's a ice cream kiosk! You'll find a rotating selection of house made ice creams and sorbets, up to 16 different flavors. Some of the standout frozen treats include the macaron ice cream sandwich and the croque glace (warm brioche bun pressed around a scoop of ice cream and topped with sauce). When I stopped inside the restaurant, the wait time wasn't too long. It was approximately 15 minutes. I've always wanted to try out the chocolate macaron ice cream sandwich. It was pretty small though, but the flavor was amazing! I did end up taking the macaron ice cream sandwich over to the single rider line for Remy's! Because this dessert shop is in the World Showcase at Epcot, this is a great spot to break while walking around the different pavilions. Seating is limited, but if you walk a little bit near the Disney's Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long, there are some more benches that you can sit at. This is one of the better sweet shops in Epcot! read more

This is my favorite spot to get a cold sweet treat in Epcot. They have a new seasonal lavender cone that I've been dying to try. The line was miraculously short, so I got it! The cone is pretty and tastes good, but $2 extra. A single scoop in tang cone came out to $10.20 which is steep even for Disney. But, it was pretty and delicious. I got the blueberry and yogurt flavor and it was tart and refreshing. This is a unique treat and a great way to enjoy the beautiful French pavilion. read more

The line was long but went by fast and had very good line control that it would not be super crowded inside since it is small. The service was nice!! I got the mango passion fruit sorbet single scoop and it's a big enough single scoop. The menu says mango but they let me know it's mango passion fruit so it's more tarty than sweet. Definitely would come back on a hotter day!! read more

I've heard about this location before I moved to FL and wanted to check it out as I started to get updated on the changes to the parks. On one of my first visits to EPCOT, I stopped by to grab something as a snack/treat. It's near the exit to the Beauty and the Beast sing-along and the restaurant with sandwiches and French patisserie. It's on the far left of the walkway. They ask guests to queue up and wait at the archway before a cashier calls you up to place your order. With the cashier, you order the item but you will tell the cast member making your item what flavors you want. After you pay, you'll be asked to wait until a cast member calls you up to make your order fresh. I went with the croque glacé with chocolate ice cream and raspberry sauce. The sandwich is worth the hype. The bun is fresh and soft and the ice cream pairs nicely. The quality of the ice cream is excellent - smooth, good flavor, and not icy. read more
Service is mediocre at best from our experience. You order and pay, then you wait in another line for the scoopers to call you up as you show your ticket. We had the cinnamon apple caramel crunch scoop in a cup which was phenomenal just sweet and tart with a crunch, really solid ice cream and good flavors to choose from. We also had their famous ice cream brioche sandwich. That was slightly disappointing. Basically your choice of ice cream flavor scooped into the middle of a brioche bun while it warms it. Didn't get that toasted brioche flavor and felt like an ice cream in a hamburger bun. read more

If you want to eat your booze, try an ice cream martini. In layman's terms, it is gelato with shots poured on top of it. If you're into that, this is for you. Warning: choose your flavor combinations carefully! In my fiance's drunken state, he ordered grand marnier orange liqueur with peanut butter gelato and it WAS NOT IT. haha I had chocolate gelato and coffee gelato with some other liquor and it was a delicious combination. Keep in mind that this isn't top shelf alcohol, so when you get a bite with a lot of alcohol, you will wince cuz the alcohol has quite a kick. But overall, a fun way to consume one's booze. The server we had was a bit curt, but I suppose that added to the vibe of France. Haha I'll be back for more gelato! read more

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I didn't find the viral ice-cream stuffed brioche to live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, the apple ice-cream was super tasty but the combination just didn't do it for me. The line was super long and it did take a bit to get to the front to order so be prepared to possibly wait in a line outside. I also didn't feel that the service was as friendly as most Disney establishments. read more
Cashier told me that the seasonal macaron flavor was raspberry and vanilla. Probably best ice cream place in this area or even at the entire park. Better than Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie though that place has strawberry tarts. Depends on your pref read more

Very interesting! 5 stars for sure. Must try if you like bread and ice cream. Ice cream is good. The bread is very soft. I really recommend this place. I tried their apple ice cream with churchy filling. It was very good. Bread was super soft. Love it ! Service is good. Very busy places, no tasting try. Considering that there is always a line, that make sense. Small place only for Togo, had some outdoor seating. Must try if you like ice cream and bread ! read more

I understand the hype--this is hands down one of the best spots in Epcot for a brioche ice cream sandwich! I'll definitely be coming back. It definitely did not disappoint for $9.50 plus tax. I ordered mine with raspberry sauce and chocolate ice cream. A perfect combination paired with my glass of champagne. Here's another Disney By James review! A lovely little gem tucked away in the France pavilion. Nice ambiance and more importantly, delicious ice cream! You won't be disappointed by the number of flavor selections and I believe the menu changes based on seasonality (giving you another reason to come back!)... For me the winner here is the macaroon sandwiches, which again change based on the time of year. If you come in the Fall, be sure to try the pumpkin spice macaroon sandwich! My one complaint... it's mostly (if not all) hard-packed ice cream. Still tasty, but as someone who much prefers soft-serve I find myself visiting the outside kiosks more frequently where that's an option. read more
Their baguette is not bad at all. A little doughy but got the flavor. Pan au chocolate was pretty decent too. I wish their baguette was baked like their pan au chocolate, regardless, their food is exceptional. Id definitely come back again read more

Delicious ice cream and freshly made waffle cones. The flavors are unique so not the best for kids, but they do have simple flavors like vanilla and chocolate. You won't find chocolate chip cookie dough or cookies n crème here! read more
