The volunteer staff is super friendly, cheerful and welcoming. We were told their story and encouraged to look around. Prices ranged from really reasonable to high. Clearance tables were in the back. Inventory changes regularly. The building is upscale from the outside and a little hard to find as it is located at the end of one way street. There is street parking around the building. Worth a visit if you're remodeling and looking unique decor.

Per what I could find out, it's an all-volunteer effort and this is one of three locations. I will also note that this location relocated from a spot further south. There are also spots in Taylorsville and Beech Grove. I was in the area having some care work done nearby, and I decided to make a quick visit on my way from visiting some spots in the area. What can I say? This is true thrift. There are occasional community giveaway days. Prices are pretty amazing, and the selection is quite varied. There's a strong element of faith throughout, of course, and that includes attitude, decor, and to a certain degree even selection. After a quick visit, I was pleased to see a friend of mine on one of their social media posts. The entry is pretty accessible. The layout leans toward comfortable chaos, but I had no issues with getting around for the most part. I would enter with, well, humble expectations. There's really nothing fancy to be found here, but I found friendly volunteers with affordable items supporting a good cause. So, while this may not be the best thrift store in town it's a meaningful one worth the support.

Before entering, know cats and dogs are wandering freely if you're scared of either or have an allergy. I enjoyed visiting with both as we love animals, but again, we have no allergic issues. Don't let the stairs deter you from visiting as a ramp is located to the left of the stairs. It is slightly steep but manageable for most. You are entering two floors of gorgeous country, farmhouse, and primitive decor. Every inch of the two floors is staged beautifully. Most of the items sold have wonderful displays of how to use the merchandise. Wonderful ideas, and if you have any questions, just ask for assistance. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and answered all my questions. She allowed us to wander at our pace and not be underfoot. I was only capable of browsing the main floor today, but I do plan on returning to tackle the second floor stairs on May 6th. I love 95% of every display I saw. The merchandise is lovely, good quality, and makes an instant impact on your decor. Regardless of your decor, you'll most likely find something you can add to your home. All current home decor and styles that work for many homes. They carry small furniture such as small dining sets, many cabinets, credenzas, accent chairs, a day bed, bookshelves plus pillows, wall decor, lamps, unique accessories, jewelry and signs to name just a few things. Several bathroom vanities ranging in size from 24" to 72" were in the shop. Several cabinets that appeared they could be customized as a bathroom vanity. Nice mixture of furniture paint colors and styles. When I was in the first time she was working with a contractor and a furniture painter to customize a cabinet for a client. It appears this is something they do if you need a specific piece or color. She also will keep an eye out for individual items you are searching for. The woman, the owner?, was very friendly but I didn't get a chance to ask many questions. Just basically what I was looking for that day but she didn't have anything similar. However, many other items that would add a fresh look for Spring and Summer. Lots of cool home decor, great displays and ideas.
