No bitterness (I drink it straight, so I'd know) no bad after taste. Nothing but the sound of angels singing. I'm here all week and see no reason to try for better. The only better coffee is my wife's. you decide on my objectivity!

We did not get to try the food but we saw them preparing their croissant sandwiches and they looked (and smelled) amazing and great value for under $5! I think the owners are Korean and the menu has a bulgogi beef bowl and spicy pork on rice option, if you are craving something more substantial to eat. On this visit, I had the strawberry banana smoothie which was made with fresh fruit (none of those weird concentrates that some places use), yogurt and milk. You can substitute oat or almond milk at no extra cost. My DC had a lemon honey iced tea which is super lemon-y with a bunch of sliced lemons in it.

We had walked past this cute spot and decided to grab take out. We had the tabbouleh salad and gheymeh stew. Both were flavourful and tasted really fresh. The portions are quite big. The salad had a good amount of fine bulgar, which was perfect because I don't like when tabbouleh salad is all parsley! The stew is mainly split yellow peas over rice. There is a grilled eggplant on top as garnish and it was smoky and delicious, I wanted more of that! I would suggest phoning ahead if you want to do take out. They happened to be busy on the Sunday evening that we went, so we had to wait 25 mins. for the order to be prepared. The dining room is small and cute. I walked by on a Saturday evening and they were hosting some live music. There are a couple small tables outside as well. Gotta love the "Kindness Wall" where you can pay it forward and buy a coffee or leave a dollar amount (like a gift certificate) and someone else can use it. They have a nice fancy espresso machine, show off local roast beans, but still produce a tasteless muddy cup. The service is slow too, kinda think the barista struggles with pulling a shot which would explain the bad coffee. If this is the case just give me a French press. Anyone can learn how to make a great French press. Espresso should be reserved for people willing to invest in learning how to pull a good shot. Anyways, it's a shame. I want to spend time here as a change of scenery from my home office, but I can make much better coffee at home. Maybe they'll let me pay $4 to drink my own coffee while I use their Wifi

A 3-combo meal comes with your choice of three of the former, plus two generous portions of injera, the spongy bread used to scoop up the wonderful stews. On this visit, I tried the beef, lentils and kale. The beef was nicely spiced with a rich red/brown sauce, the kale was nicely sauteed to remove the bitter bite and the lentils were creamy. I recommend by-passing the utensils and relying on the injera to act as your spoon. Speaking of the injera, it was soft and held together perfectly to pick up the fillings. If you are looking to try something new in the Fredericton area, make a visit to this market for some authentic Ethiopean!
