Jonnie Java's has THE BEST maple latte you will find. Real maple syrup from Quebec is the key. Awesome place. Love it.

I walk in to get out of the rain and the first thing that hits me is the beautiful aroma of freshly roasted beans.

This place is super plain from the outside and the shabby decor leaves a bit to be desired, but…read morethey make up for it with the warm service and quality drinks. We did not get to try the food but we saw them preparing their croissant sandwiches and they looked (and smelled) amazing and great value for under $5! I think the owners are Korean and the menu has a bulgogi beef bowl and spicy pork on rice option, if you are craving something more substantial to eat. On this visit, I had the strawberry banana smoothie which was made with fresh fruit (none of those weird concentrates that some places use), yogurt and milk. You can substitute oat or almond milk at no extra cost. My DC had a lemon honey iced tea which is super lemon-y with a bunch of sliced lemons in it.

Get yourself indulged in the aroma of house coffee beans when you enter the cafe. It provides wifi too, so you can browse unlimited while enjoying your latte and food. Order: Chicken Panini: Their panini served with pickle tasted like a homemade panini which was a best combination to enjoy a rainy day with nutella latte. Nutella Latte: This latte is the most ordered hot drink here so i also decided to taste its speciality. Well, I must say that it was up to my expectations and i enjoyed every sip of this. This is such a cute cafe/bar with friendly service and warm, welcoming vibe. I came here for…read morebreakfast and had one of their breakfast sandwiches (egg, cheese, tomato, ham) served on your choice of Montreal-style bagel. I also had a London Fog which was creamy and not overly sweet. The decor is very home-y and inviting and they have a selection of vinyls you can listen to. I walked by on a Saturday evening and they were hosting some live music. There are a couple small tables outside as well. Gotta love the "Kindness Wall" where you can pay it forward and buy a coffee or leave a dollar amount (like a gift certificate) and someone else can use it. They also had a photography exhibit while I was there. It definitely feels like a local hangout kind of place and I would definitely be a regular if I lived here!

They have a nice fancy espresso machine, show off local roast beans, but still produce a tasteless muddy cup. The service is slow too, kinda think the barista struggles with pulling a shot which would explain the bad coffee. If this is the case just give me a French press. Anyone can learn how to make a great French press. Espresso should be reserved for people willing to invest in learning how to pull a good shot. Anyways, it's a shame. I want to spend time here as a change of scenery from my home office, but I can make much better coffee at home. Maybe they'll let me pay $4 to drink my own coffee while I use their Wifi
