We used KDC to renovate our Kitchen, Master Bathroom, and fix some other issues around the house that involved tiling, plumbing, drywall, etc. We first started with KDC on the kitchen, where we had them install all new countertops, and replace our cabinets, basically a whole kitchen renovation. They handled everything and had people for plumbing, tiling, painting, electrical. Everything was handled for us with minimal involvement other than picking out materials. It was one of the easiest experiences where we picked out what we wanted in their showroom and had their project manager coming to the house to review progress on a consistent basis. With how smoothly the kitchen went, we had KDC fix our guest bathroom where things went just as smooth, and then do a whole renovation of the master bathroom. Similarly, we picked out all of the materials in their showroom and the results were amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is very detailed, with new cabinets, tiling, moving different fixtures to new locations, and installation of everything flawlessly. They even alerted us to a cheaper countertop option that still met our needs. All in all, it seems like KDC worked on half the house and did some in a timely and expert way. We've recommended them to friends and happy to do so for others. It was refreshing trusting someone to do a great job with minimal supervision and we're thrilled with the results.

It's possible they're going through changes or growth pains, but from what I saw, there are deeper issues with consistency and leadership. I ended up moving on and choosing a different company.

They were extremely attentive to the scheduling needs of the institution, working over Holiday periods so that no normal operations were disrupted and responding immediately to an unanticipated issue, addressing it very creatively and professionally for the client. JPBD also did a home remodel project for me in Herndon on an early 90's house that desperately needed a new staircase design, laundry room relocation, addition of a bathroom, improved flow throughout the first floor, and numerous HVAC adjustments to accomplish. Their crews were on time, on task, and very easy to work with. They will be back for future projects! Darragh Davis

The job was pretty small but we were thrilled with John's communication, precise and accurate work, his care for the job, and of course the final product! We had reached out to a bunch of people and struggled to find both willing and affordable quotes. John was friendly from the start and within our budget. He went above and beyond after the stain we had ordered from the cabinet company turned out to be incorrect and he was able to very accurately match the existing stain from a sample piece of trim we had given him. We'd recommend John and Avanti for your next cabinetry project - I know that's who we'll be contacting for ours : )
