I was able to work with Heather about 8 years ago and I thought it would be helpful for those of you interested in working with her to know the impact of what she is able to do for someone's life long-term. I met Heather while we were both attending a women's workshop and immediately fell in love with her fire, passion and love for people's well being (aka her career). I tend to think that things happen for a reason: I needed someone like her in my life and she happened to be right there in front of me...I leaned in. Long story short, she helped me turn my life into the 180 that I currently live in. She helped me understand my worth, my potential and what love could like for me. Now, I have a family that I adore, a career that is fulfilling and a healthy body to do it all in thanks to her. (Side note: It's really crazy to me to have someone out there who you feel like you owe so much of your life to who probably has a long list of people feeling the same way! There must be supreme karma following her wherever she goes :D) I will be forever grateful for her time, knowledge, patience and most of all the love she was able to extend to me. She is a gem and working with her will change your life if you let it. read more

Heather Coros - Life Coach Near Me

I had the pleasure of hearing Heather present at a goal-setting workshop I recently attended. Her topic was stress management, and I was impressed at how she wrapped the topic into larger themes of alignment and grounding. She stepped us through hands-on exercises so that we had concrete tools we could take with us into our lives during the weeks ahead. Even more, she seamlessly guided us to look at the stressors in our day to day lives with some of the larger issues we experienced to give us a true "big picture" vantage point. Heather combines a from-the-heart delivery style with her experience and education to create a winning presentation that would be as equally effective in a small workshop setting to a larger auditorium audience. She has the ability to connect with people from across a large space, so that everyone in attendance relates and responds to her instruction and insight. Heather is a wonderful speaker and I'd strongly recommend her! read more

Heather has helped me progress and move forward significantly, both personally and professionally. The initial thrust of our work together has been my business, and how that fits into my life in a productive and healthy way - which of course has segued into other aspects of my life. The entire time we have worked together, Heather has been an amazing resource - she has an extensive background beyond what I expected from a Life Coach, and I now depend on her for personal and professional recommendations and referrals. If you're looking for someone to help guide you through a transition, or just a reframing of how you approach your business, relationships, or yourself, Heather is a great choice! read more

I've had the opportunity to work with Heather for about 2 months now and I can't speak highly enough of my experience with her. While I always feel like she is always on my side and she has my back when I need her to she is also always the first to tell me that I might not be as "right" as I think I am as she helps me go through things in my own narrative. Often I'll realize that my initial reaction to something differed wildly from what I meant it to be and we get to work the process of how to align my actions and interactions to actually reflect my goals and values. It's amazing how much easier it is to get up and be excited for the day it has been and I can never thank her enough for that. Side note: I also recently had the chance to attend one of her workshops and it was every bit as amazing as working one on one with her. Throw in the additional benefits of getting help from other amazing professionals and working with an inspiring set of people going through the same steps and you have a recipe for change rarely seen. read more

I attended a workshop that Heather led and in just a short amount of time I found it so helpful. The exercise we did helped me reframe my thoughts and beliefs about why I have plateaued in the growth of my business. I love her style and her ability to laugh at herself which makes her very real and approachable. Kendra read more

I've worked with Heather for over a year, and I'm constantly delighted at the insights we continue to find. Heather's style makes you feel at ease, and get to a place where you can dig out gems that you've been hiding from yourself. As well as being a strong coach, Heather has a ready supply of "life skill" resources to help un-block challenging life and business situations. read more

I've had several sessions with Heather so far, and I must say I've been pretty impressed with her coaching skills. She is very perceptive, sharp, and has been very connected to me and the moment when we meet. She also is able to lead my thought processes and patterns into directions that work for me, instead of hinder and frustrate me, like they were doing. She seems to have a knack for offering me another perspective - quick witted advice that helps me see things in a different light. I know she's an effective coach, because the things that were bothering me just kind of disintegrated from my consciousness. I'm looking forward to more time with her. read more

Have you ever been stuck? Have you ever wondered how in the world you will ever find a way out and back to yourself? Have you ever felt stuck between a rock and hard place? If you're looking at this, chances are you know what I mean. When I met Heather, I was in just such a spot: could't make changes (read: risks too huge) and couldn't maintain the current life (read: stressed to the max and unhappy as hell). Over the course of about 8 months Heather guided me through exercises and conversations that helped us bring light and space into the dark place between the rock and the hard place. Sometimes, for the best reasons, we end up in the worst places and need help to put ourselves back in balance - we have to look, feel and act deeply. Painful as it was to let go and allow the transformation to take place, with the tools of honesty, vulnerability and compassion, Heather helped me reclaim vital pieces of my spirit and forge a foundation of peace and happiness - the fabric of my daily life. I am so much happier and inspired to continue growing and sculpting my new life! Thanks for seeing me through the darkness and into the light, Heather! With your help I can clearly see that, "Sometimes when things are falling apart, they are actually coming together." read more

I met Heather about two years ago (or so), and to this day I try to stay connected through her guided meditations (heart them!) and attending as many of her workshops as possible. These workshops are always a place to be yourself and feel safe. Her warm and kind spirit is as big as her scientific knowledge of our complicated minds. Attending one of her events is a major gift you will give to yourself for self-discovery, self-growth and self-love. Your true, inner soul will thank you. read more

The term "life coach" often elicits a cringe-worthy reaction. It evokes an image of a touchy-feely, ethereal, new-agey person sitting in an incense smoke filled dimly lit room, spewing clichés pulled from eastern theology books, trying to twist them to fit your life. This is absolutely NOT Heather. Picture your best friend's sister, a Masters Psychology professor, your dearest friend, add a pinch of tough love, and Heather is even better than that! A powerful presence, she warmly commands any room she walks into. Heather is welcoming, but real. She's firm, yet gentle. And most importantly, she's insightful and thought-provoking, helping you to uncover your best self! I'm of the opinion that the best coaches are like tour guides rather than instructors. They don't TELL you what to do or how to live, but rather LEAD you to make your own discoveries and transformations. Heather truly listens to you and asks perfectly targeted questions to guide you to growth! "An hour can change a life," she says. With all the frivolous BS we waste countless hours of our time on, you NEED to spend an hour with Heather. in fact, you owe it to yourself! read more

On multiple occasions, I have had the privilege to experience a group lecture given by Heather. She exudes great confidence as an inspiring and informative facilitator. Heather provides an inviting environment, while offing transformational strategies and fact-based insight generated from her experience and education. By incorporating team-building exercises, Heather's talk is highly engaging, and much more effective than speakers who 'talk at' the crowd. As a health and wellness professional myself, I recommend Heather both as a group speaker, and for one-on-one coaching. She will offer the personality, compassion and knowledge you seek! read more

In just a short few months Heather helped me recognize beliefs that had held me back, tactical ways to become more mindful throughout my day at work and home, introduced to be to new exercises, books, and people that have helped me grow and expand. Through becoming more mindful at the work place I have been able to become more focused on the task at had, and more disciplined in reaching my goals. Heather is truly the wisest person I know always blowing my mind when we shifts my perspective in new ways. I have become happier, my focused at work, more driven and all around more joyful in just a few months. Heather, thank you so much for all you have done for me so far. I can not wait for your next workshop (and our 1:1's of course). And I can't wait to see how I will grow in the next few months! With love, Jessie read more

I took a workshop from Heather and she transformed goal-setting (and achieving) from an insurmountable obstacle to something that can be achieved with simple steps. I then had the pleasure of hearing her speak at another event, and in a very short presentation she re-triggered that confidence and reminded me that being effective (and happy) only requires the right mindset. Heather is an invaluable resource to help tap into my own inner resources. read more

I greatly enjoyed Heather's workshop on Where are You Heading. I really liked having to be honest with myself in the "eating the coals" exercise and came up with how to remedy the situation. She is absolutely one of my most favorite people on the planet. I originally reached out to Heather because I felt like I was out of control and was having difficulty connecting with other people. When I started working with her, she immediately recognized that I was in an unhealthy relationship with my partner and that the root of most of my anxiety was related. She helped me create a plan to get out of this unhealthy relationship and helped me recognize the strength that I have within myself. When I first started seeing her, I hated myself. Today, I can say that I no longer hate myself and in fact, I don't even recognize that person anymore. Currently, we are working on my career goals and I can't wait to see what the future will bring. Heather is very passionate about her work and she is kind, compassionate, and honest. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to dig deep within themselves to bring out the person they want to be. I have been working with Heather for four months now and she was part of an important health team I assembled to get me through a period of depression and uncertainty in my life. I had received her information through a friend and contacted her when I took some time off work to focus on healing my mind and thinking through what mattered to me in my life. Heather understood that I needed immediate help and arranged a phone screening right away. After talking to her about my struggles with work/life balance and a possible career change I could tell that Heather could teach me tools to get through difficult periods of my life. Heather not only is well educated, but she has been through many of my same struggles herself and has first hand experience learning how to live in this busy and stressful world. She presents concepts in a way that makes sense to the individual. She is very thoughtful before she presents any information which allowed me to build trust with her and become more open and vulnerable. She has taught me how to be more mindful in my daily life which has led to moments of clarity and insight. Many times I answer my own questions as a result of her prompts and redirection. Heather has helped me navigate through some old concepts that are no longer serving me. As hard as this work is, I find comfort knowing that Heather is helping me develop the healthy lifestyle I have always wanted. I have built a lot of resilience and have more clarity on what a joyful future looks like. I have a new sense of meaning and purpose and have strengthened my relationship with others and with myself. read more

I've owned my own business for several years. I'm also pregnant with my first child and due in a few months. I started to see Heather because, for the first time, I'm not really clear on what my business will look like when the baby comes. I've worked with several business coaches over the years, but I wanted to make sure that the advice I got would take my whole life into consideration. The exercises she guides me through, and the homework she assigns, are fun and engaging. I actually look forward to doing them. I started working with Heather about 6 months ago during a difficult time in my professional life, the negative energy of which was also starting to seep into my personal life. Since then, Heather has been an incredible coach, helping me reframe my perspective on life, helping me see my career, goals & relationships (with others and myself) through a new lense, and helping me uncover what truly makes me happy (which is harder than it sounds). The extraordinary part is that these are life-long skills I now have that can help me tackle future bumps along the road. Heather is extremely intuitive, and a great communicator. She has a way of cutting through the clutter and providing a point of view that gets right to the heart of the issue. What really resonated with me, however, is that she's not just someone who is "good at giving advice". She has a graduate degree in Psychology and all of the exercises we go through are supported by peer-reviewed, validated research. But the best part? You know she cares. My phone rang on a Friday night just before 7 p.m. when I knew she'd left town for a weekend getaway. Why was she calling? Just to check and and follow up on a conversation we'd had the day before. That's how you know someone cares what's going on with you. You show it through your deeds.
