The last place offered over a month out... day of appointment went smoothly. Only a few papers to fill out, receptionist was really nice and welcoming! She greeted me with a smile that actually felt genuine and as soon as my paperwork was done I was called back. The Audiologist was really nice too he explained each step before I did it, and allowed me to relax a bit. I had my test and he went over the whole test and I was anxious because I was sure I was going to need hearing aids since my last visit several years ago i was on the borderline of needing one... my hearing hasn't changed, so I assume it is my tinnitus getting worse! He was very nice and explained that caffeine can cause tinnitus to get worse but I rarely drink caffeine so I'm not sure what is causing it! But the quality of care here was amazing! I felt heard... they didn't try to sell me something i didn't need! He explained everything and I left very informed and happy I would definitely recommend that if you are like me and get anxious when you go to a doctor but need your ears checked call here!! It is a nice quiet calm vibe... I felt comfortable and will definitely go again in a year!!

The only complaint I would have is that I have to replace the batteries frequently. As I understand, these also have a device that connects directly to the TV without needing subtitles. Once I received my hearing aids, there was very minimal instruction as to use and maintainance at the time of acceptance. My right hearing aid has been problematic at least 3 times in the first year. This resulted in only office staff adjustments per their experts. Just over 1 year of use my right hearing aid quit working or charging. I brought both hearing aids and charger to be checked out. No log in of equipment or signage of release. 1- 1/2 weeks later I phoned for an update. Very rudely the receptionist, Charlene, informed me "I told you I will get back to you when it is ready!" I also asked to speak with her supervisor. Charlene said "Lilly" is rarely in the office and was very busy with meetings. I requested she have "Lilly" call me. After 3 weeks I am still waiting. They offer "loaner" hearing aids with a charger when available. They thought the left hearing aid and charger that they gave me were mine--but they were not even the same color! The loaners did not work so I returned them the next day. No log or signage upon return either. 4-5 days later I showed up to office very frustrated. A MIRACLE--they had my right hearing aid! No left one and offered me a NEW charger since they couldn't locate mine. At 3 weeks+ I am still waiting for them to locate and return my left hearing aid!! I am also still waiting for "Lilly" to find 5 minutes in her extremely busy schedule to call me back! For the high cost expended for these hearing aids, one would expect better quality and service from this office.

The Dr is wonderful at this office, I've been here 2 times lately with my mom because she has ear…read morewax build up and so she can't hear with even her hearing aids in, the Dr has had us go to get her ears washed out to remove the wax and the little infection she has on the outer canal of the ear. My mom has been to one dr who was incompetent in removing the wax and so we are seeing a specialist to have them do it then back to Pacific Hearing for the Dr to set her other hearing aid. It's been a back and forth process but he is very reliable and nice and very professional. He knows what he is doing 100%!!

Something has change in the last year at the organization. The communication is horrible. As an…read moreexample I wild get a text with one date confirming appointment and then a call the day before to confirm I was going to be at my appointment on a different date. I had my annual hearing checkin in December of 24 and was told I would need new hearing aids. No problem, at least that is what one would think. I get calls in January telling me need to be tested now that insurance had approved the hearing aids. Testing had already been done. I took a month to find out what they meant was I needed to come in to review my choices on hearing aids and measure my ear. This had already been done during my testing in December when I was told I need new ones. They had provided the hearing aids I was using and had all the measurements. They couldn't schedule till mid March to pick the ones I had already picked and take a measurement of my ear. This took all of 5 minutes. Signed the paperwork and told it would be about a month to receive them. I contacted my insurance company to change providers for future appointments reviewed the reasons why with them. They agreed to do so. A couple of weeks later I get a call from an office manager in Glendora (Jackie) upset and argumentative that I had filed a grievance. Confirmed I was still going to pick up the hearing aids when they came which I did. I call in April to find the status and am told I would have to contact the insurance company. They could not tell me more. I called my insurance company today, they got the doctors office on the phone and confirmed the office had canceled the order because of the grievance. The also claimed they were refusing future care because of the grievance, which was something I had already asked for. My insurance company approved starting the entire process again with another doctor 10 minutes from my home instead of 45. So if you have a problem and have any medical devices you have been approved for, wait till you get them before you take any other actions. They will not let you know what they have done when they take a retaliatory action against you.

This office has refused to use one of her insurances and as a result she still has not been able to get her hearing aids. If someone has coverage for hearing aids, everything should be done accordingly so the person can afford to get the necessary care that he or she needs.

Throughout the next day, this team went above and beyond to contact me and my mom to let me know that something in my blood work was concerning. They recommended a wonderful hospital/ ER (arrowhead regional medical center) and because of Mi Salud's due diligence, I was blessed enough to arrive on time to the ER where I was eventually diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I tried a number of places along the way trying to see if I could get an urgent appointment as a walk-in. Finally I reached Dr. Bala's office and they set me up with an appointment for later in the day when I would be driving through town. Despite a very busy waiting room I was seen in a timely manner and all of her staff as well as Dr. Bala herself were absolutely amazing. She did an extremely thorough exam and took pictures of the inside of my eyes quickly diagnosed my eye problem and put my mind at ease that it should self resolve in the near future. I can see why she gets such great reviews and if I lived in the area I would definitely use her as my eye doctor on an ongoing basis.
