Terrible customer service. Came in for an oil change and they put the wrong filter in. Decided to give them a second chance on an alignment. Had an appointment 7 AM, at 9 AM. they still hadn't touched it because they said that even though I had an appointment, I didn't tell them that I needed it back by a certain time. Why make an appointment if they aren't going to honor it? They claimed it was my fault that when I dropped it off the night before I didn't indicate that I needed the vehicle back at a reasonable time. I will not be going back. There are lots of other options to take your vehicle. read more

I took my 2019 Nissan to Heartland Tire Savage, to get two front tires put on my car. For whatever reason they decided to put it on the alignment rack, even though I did not ask them to do that. I was informed that my car is Waaaay out of alignment. I then informed them, that I have owned a Frame/Alignment shop for the past 40 years, and specialize in difficult alignment issues. I checked the alignment when I got back to my shop, and it was almost perfect. Set exactly the way Nissan adjusted it at the Factory. Be cautious, when some shop tells you that there is something wrong with your alignment.... Always get a second opinion. My wife recently took her car to Goodyear in Hastings for tires, and did not get the Wheel alignment up-charge scam pulled on her. Beware of Heartland Tire Savage. read more

We took our Lincoln MKZ to Heartland Tire in Savage Minnesota to patch a screw hole in the front passenger tire. While I was there, the technician improperly lifted the vehicle literally crushing all four corners of the vehicles rocker panels and ground effects. The technician then opened the driver door which was jammed against the rocker panel and pulled off the lower door trim. Rick Holman, the store manager agreed to take care of the damages and give us a loaner while the body work was being done. The car took longer than expected which was fine as long as we had the loaner. When we arrived to pick up our finished vehicle, the paint color didn't match, the rocker panels didn't line up, door trim was never reattached and the body work was absolutely not acceptable. They refused to tell me where the work was performed but it obviously wasn't done by a professional body shop. Rick agreed that it wasn't right and said they would redo the work and we continued to use the loaner. A day later, Rick called letting me know the car was ready. My son went to pick it up and drop off the loaner only to discover the car was in the same condition as it was the day before. Nothing had been done to redo the work so nothing had changed. Rick Holman did a flip flop, told my son the repairs were as good as it's going to get and they were done working on it. I drove to the Heartland store to meet with my son and Rick the manager who told me the same. He admitted the day before the body work had some issues as we pointed out and agreed to fix them. Today even though nothing had been done, he said it looked good and he's done working on it. While having this conversation with Rick, my teenage son informed me that before I arrived, Rick Holman was swearing at him and his three friends threatening to call the police if my son didn't give him back the loaner key and leave with our unfinished car. Rick denied saying that although people in the waiting room confirmed it! Bottom line, never once did I hear "I'm sorry, we're going to make this right." They made it sound like they were doing us a favor by fixing it with duct tape and chewing gum! Rick tried to deny the door trim was pulled off by his mechanic which I saw with my own eyes. They put absolutely no effort into trying to make us happy and could care less about the stress it added to our lives. We trusted Heartland Tire with our car and to do a simple tire repair. Heartland Tire "professionals" carelessly damaged our car extensively, refused to fix it professionally and disrespected my family! After my dealings with Rick and Heartland Tire, had I not been there to witness this for myself, I'm not sure they would have admitted to the damages? I understand things can happen but if they do, have some integrity and do the right thing. Treat the people that trusted you and your employees with respect! I have good pictures and good documentation. Rick watched my son take phone video of our conversation and, three of my sons friends were there to witness. This is obviously not over. The photo I attached is before the botched up body work. It doesn't look like this but it will when the work is professionally redone. Update 11/5/21 After spending hours preparing court documents, a BBB Complaint and getting two damage repair estimates, I met with Keith, the Heartland Goodyear district manager. He agreed to cover the cost to properly repair the damages done by the Goodyear Tech. I appreciate Keith getting involved and accepting responsibility. Still for me and my family, working with Rick and Savage Goodyear has been a horribly exhausting experience! read more

Horrible service. I Brought my car in on a Saturday for an appointment took six hours to put on new tires and do the alignment. All I had done was get tires. I called after 3 1/2 hours to ask, "how much longer?" and they said "one more hour." l called an hour later and they told me another hour. I am most upset at the lies and unprofessionalism of this place. If it's going to take 6 hours let me know. Don't lie and say it will be ready. Also they charged me $80 for an alignment even though I bought 4 new tires from them. read more

I guess the speed and quality were good but DAMN the price. I have been to the Goodyear in Bloomington before and had a good experience. When my car died last week I decided to take it Savage since it was closer and I thought they were owned by the same person. Turns out the guy that owns the one in Bloomington had sold the Savage one and man does this place like to take your money. They fixed my issue for $700 (replace cam sensor). Then they gave me a quote for plugs and wires. Parts Wire Set 92.49 Plugs 24.99 * 6 = 149.94 Labor 375.68 Total 618.11 I called Bobby and Steve's and was quoted $312 Autozone has plugs and wires for as low as $43 total Are you kidding me this is insanity. Now I am questioning the price I paid for the job they did. Just called the Goodyear in Bloomington and got a plugs and wires quote for $350. WHAT A SCAM!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more

This is not so much a review of Heartland as it is for GoodYear and their "Rebate Offer" Do NOT Fall for it!!! They claim to offer a $200 rebate if you use a GoodYear credit card for a set of tires. Naturally, I applied for the card and got approved. Then the fun started. I got to the shop and found that I had to wait for the card to show up in the mail because they wouldn't give me the Card # (!!??) The manager got on the phone and for 45min haggled with them to straighten this out. I got my tires. When my card finally came in the mail: I couldn't login to the web site to pay it off...their "customer service" phone is manned by script kiddies who know nothing. I eventually just sent a paper check in and paid it off. Then I waited a couple weeks and checked on my rebate. Guess wait? They give you a Goodyear Debit card NOT CASH! They claim it was mailed out, but I rarely open credit card related junk mail - I'm sure it went out in the recycling. Now what am I to do? I have to start all over with these clueless jackasses tomorrow (during regular 'business hours'). Probably another hour or so on the phone. I repeat: DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. After having gone to a closer Goodyear in Lakeville and basically being pissed off, a friend suggested the Savage Goodyear. Apparently the owner of that franchise is different. Now I would pass two or three or more other Goodyear shops as well as about a dozen+ auto repair shops on the way to the Savage store, but I believe in the referral process and gave it a go. I'm glad I did. They treated me very well and didn't try to sell me a bunch of repairs I didn't actually need like the Lakeville Goodyear did. The waiting room is clean and pretty roomy. The mechanic, Dean, also explained a few things to me about the car which I figure he didn't have to do because they have a service advisor that usually does that. So that was a plus as well. I might also add, it's right next to a Starbucks. So I can get a decent coffee and a treat while I'm waiting for my car next time. read more

I went here a few months ago after having a tire stollen off of my car- the shop was aware of the situation and knew I would be submitting a claim to my insurance company. When I giving me the prices of different parts they just kept reminding me that the insurance company would reimburse me, and this is how much it costs to get a new tire, rim, tire pressure monitor ect. . Now after the claim has been processed more then half of the expenses were denied. The insurance company said they were denied because the savage Goodyear was charging much higher then the marketed value for parts. After being in a crappy situation to begin with, I trusted the folks at Savage Goodyear and they took advantage of the situation. I will never be returning to this location. read more

I went here previously for tires and an oil change and had a good experience. I made an appointment at another shop for my latest oil change since I had a free coupon. They told me that they were unable to change my oil because the drain plug had been overly tightened by the last guy (Goodyear) and that I would need an entire new oil pan (expensive) I drove over to Goodyear immediately, upset and expecting the worst. They diagnosed the problem in minutes and changed my oil and rotated my tires in under an hour (no drain pan needed)! Turns out the guys at the other shop used the wrong size socket and didn't know what they were doing. Cliff the manager and Desmond were polite, patient, and knowledgeable. I also like the fact that there seemed to be no turn over in staff and that every employee looked older than 17yr and knew what they were doing. They threw in a coupon and a new drain plug too. Their professionalism has earned a loyal customer. read more

Scheduled a conventional oils change, was called up to pay and they replaced air filter and cabin filter and didn't talk to me about this first. I should have ask if this was going to be free of charge since they didn't consult with me. Next the mechanic left oil marks all over my interior and stained my seat. He also used the wrong oil filter size so I had to wait 10 mins for him and the manager to get the right one in. The oil level in my car was over and could have caused damage to my engine. And in my broken window they were going to leave it rolled down after they pushed my window down manually and caused damage to that as well. I talked to the manager and he seemed clueless and didn't care about making the situation better. I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid this establishment. They are not knowledgeable about vehicles and they clearly don't care if they damage something. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been treat so badly when paying to have my car fixed! read more

Speedy service. Got a tire patched in less than 15 minutes

I took my car here a few months ago when it was leaking coolant all over my garage. I chose this shop as it was open late and really close to my home (necessary when you ate driving with water in your coolant tank!). They got me in and had it fixed and ready by the next morning. The wow part came today. My coolant light came on again, and they fit me in right after work. I was there 20 mins total, and they said they tightened up a few loose hoses that were causing the light to turn on. And they didn't charge me anything. No idea if those hoses were faulty in addition to the burst clamps they replaced or if this was a new issue, but either way I was treated great, didn't feel nickel and dimed, and wiill definately take my car there for anything else that pops up in the future. read more

They were unapologetic about the fine print, and on the way out one of their employees bumped me and smirked and did not even apologize. Think twice before going here. read more

Terrible place to go, put my sons life in danger. Had brakes done recently and on the way home they failed in he smashed into another vehicle. Took car right back and they took no responsibility for what had happened 5 minutes after leaving there shop. The managers name is cliff and he tried to blame my son for the accident. As I mentioned, goodyear would not take any responsibility for putting my sons life in danger. I would highly not recommend going here for ANY services. read more
