Easy to make a reservation on the Hilton site, check in using the Hilton mobile app, and easy check out the same. This location was just off a major interstate, which made my six state roadtrip even easier. The staff were all very accommodating and the hot breakfast plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't get to try the breakfast bar as I was in a rush to get on the road both times, but it looked and smelled amazing. The coffee in the lobby was delicious though. Of all the hotels I stayed at during this trip, this one was my favorite. I think going forward, I'm strictly a Holiday Inn Express guy from now on. I really only had two minor complaints: The first time through the fitted sheet had a small stain on it that I didn't care for and caused me to sleep on top of the top sheet, and there's only one luggage cart in the whole hotel which can make getting in or out during the busy hours a bit difficult. They are pleasant, attentive and efficient. Check in was quick and easy. Pricing is considerably less than other nearby hotels. The rooms are a little dated, but they are clean. There is a microwave and large fridge in the room. The TV was easy to use and the channel selection is good. The bathroom was clean. No pets are allowed. Air conditioning worked fine. I had a minor issue with the fridge making noise, but I didn't complain about it. They probably would have changed it out. The breakfast is decent. The scrambled eggs tasted fresh. My husband liked the sausage. The fresh biscuits were goods. There were bagels and breads that I did not try. Coffee is available all day and in the evenings, fresh popcorn is available. The parking lot is easy to get in and out. There are several nearby good restaurants that are not chains. I'd stay again and recommend.

Girls and guys at the front desk were nice, efficient and also had a cute little snack bar that were easily available at all hours to get your goodies rang up. Cleaning crew in the halls were nice as well. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and overall clean. Comfortable beds and again, not noisy. The reason I docked a star is our air conditioning unit had a loud humming noise. Probably should have requested a room change but didn't realize it until the second night/that it would bother so much. May have just been bad luck with the unit in our room. Another bummer is we requested maid service/cleaning service bi-daily yet every day we got back our beds/rooms were never made up. We definitely got skipped and again, after coming back after long days, the last thing we wanted to do was complain or ask for them to come after hours. At least we caught the cleaning crew in the halls a few times to get new towels but would expect more. But still overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel. Luckily I had my perfume and Lysol to keep it tolerable but I'm not sure if there was a possible drainage or mold issue. Also, the desk chair was wobbly, which I let front desk know about. I also felt like they could've tucked the bedsheets in better - but that's just my observation. This hotel also offered free breakfast each morning. I enjoyed their waffles. They also had a large parking lot, where I felt safe to leave our rental. There were plenty of parking spaces. This hotel seems to be pet-friendly, as there was a couple checking in with their dog. The hotel is within walking distance from a Kohl's and Walmart. Overall, it's a decent hotel with basic amenities. I did appreciate the walk-in shower with glass doors. I wouldn't mind staying here again. I'd probably ask to switch rooms if it smelled musty again. Lesson learned. But it was useful for my stay, as I only needed it for sleeping, showering, and storing my belongings while I was on business in the area.
