I've stayed here twice now while driving across the country. The staff is extremely friendly. The price is very reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They definitely need some TLC but they are a place to sleep. I wouldn't stay here if I was on vacation or going to be doing more than sleeping for the night. The breakfast is bare minimum. We had a decent room at a fair price. Convenient to Interstate, gas stations, restaurants, etc. Room was clean. Staff efficient. Breakfast was fine. Semi trucks park and run all night at the South end of hotel so avoid rooms too close to end if that's a concern. read more

The staff here was extremely nice. The rooms are clean, but could definitely use some TLC. They also have a feature to pay through an app your phone if you need to do laundry. It's nice because you don't have to worry about having a bunch of quarters with you. read more

The front staff was nice, however the hotel is run down. It's only two stores and does not have an elevator so if you have any limitations this isn't the place to go. The pool was very dirty and not open and the place smelled stale over all due to the age of the carpet. Quality is rather subjective. There is concern of potentially mold in the bathroom as well as cob webs too, so I really question the over all cleaning and sanitary practices. read more

The guy at the front desk was cool- otherwise- no... just no... The hotel is in desperate need of renovation- the pool was closed, green, and gross. The floors were stained from the front desk down both hallways. The front awnings are destroyed. The bathtub looks disgusting. The room has an odor. Decent motel for the price. Had comfortable beds, friendly staff, good parking lot, dog friendly at no extra charge, and a decent breakfast. This is all we needed as part of a road trip, and the stay was pleasant. We slept well, ate breakfast, walked the dogs, and went on our way. No issues at all. No soap in our room or in the entire motel inventory. GM reported soap is on"back order." Excuse me GM, go to CVS and buy some soap. Also no wi-fi in our section of the motel. This hotel is beyond a being a dump. The health authorities should review it to determine whether it should be closed. The carpets are filthy and the air smells of mold. Let me first say the customer service from the front desk was 5 star! I spoke with three people all of which were very helpful but unfortunately that was the only thing desired about this Inn. If nothing else this place needs a serious deep clean the lobby looks good but the hallways, doors, and staircases are awful. The room smelled terrible, the beds are hard, the tub was dirty!!! Outstanding Value! We had to travel to Greenfield with our kids and two dogs. We were willing to stay anywhere between Indy and Greenfield and searched all of the hotels we could find online. There were many hotels with better reviews but their prices were unacceptable. We chose the Greenfield Quality Inn and Suites and were sincerely surprised to find a very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. We were especially happy to find acres of fields behind the hotel in which to exercise our dogs. The breakfast was entirely sufficient, the coffee was available 24 hours, and the room was very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the kindest man at the front desk. My teenage boys even said something and everyone knows how well teenage boys pay attention. He checked us in and made sure we had every bit of information we could possibly need without giving us an obnoxious amount of unnecessary details. He made sure we knew where we could get dinner and even let us know where we could get discounts for staying at the hotel. This hotel is located right in the middle of every food place you could possibly want. The lobby area was clean. They offered free popcorn and ice water. As soon as we got upstairs though, it smelled pretty awful. Not unbearable but kind of smelled like smoke and old. The decor was a little outdated but who cares... not my house. Our room felt a little humid and sticky, especially the sheets. The beds were comfortable but my kids said the pillows were pretty miserable. (I brought my own so that's just their opinion) The room had a mini fridge, microwave and free wifi. There was a sign on the sink that said if you forgot any toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste razor, etc) that they would provide you with one... kinda nice. The hotel offered a continental breakfast that looked pretty tasty. We weren't hungry when we left but it looked great and smelled good. Overall decent hotel and would stay again but not for longer than a night or two. read more

Let me start off by saying the American Vet guy was happy and joyful perfect desk greeter. There were 2 other folks who came in behnd us... We ventured to our room and along the way noticed huge stains on the carpet...I started to become very disappointed, then we entured the room... There was mold along the bottom of the window. I went to the front desk to ask a question while 2 other families we asking for their money back. A pastor had waled in and after hearing complants said "this isnt a place for me..." And left... I can see that this place could be beautiful but its obvious the owner doesnt care to renovate it. We did continue to stay because i also work for Quality Inn and wanted to just see what it would be like...We take pride in our hotel and its clean. The sleeping was awful I felt like bugs were on me the entire night...I checked for bed bug but didnt see any. I hope for this Quality Inn to get renovations done and the driveway fixed...Needs lots of new things here updated in a big way. read more

This Quality inn should not be apart of the choice hotels group. As soon as I walked in it smelled dirty. I would have turned around and walked out but I had a reservation. Went to Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express, both were sold out so we thought since it was late and we needed a break from a 11 plus hour road trip were genually surprised how equivalent Comfort Inn was to our first two choices. Definitely would come back. Place was clean, refurbished/updated last year and it shows. read more

On the plus side....Bob Evans right out front, gas station right beside it, and shower water is actually hot, and average hotel service. Now the down side......our bathroom light and fan were on when we checked in (that's because it smelled like old urine), no elevator, the beds SUCK, the air conditioner if put on 71 or below constantly run (needs tons of updates), not soundproof you can hear people in lobby talking, the waffle iron dinging its ready, the drapes and flat screens might be the newest thing here. Oh I forgot yes free wifi and that's awesome they even have a business center to work out of, but NO PRINTER THAT WORKS!!!! read more

This place looked promising - pet friendly, reasonably priced, and convenient to the freeway. However, this hotel fails to live up to any sense of "standard." We saw some people loitering, but thought nothing of it at the time. As others have noted, the room they put us in first smelled horrible - like harsh chemicals covering a terrible stench. We had to move into another room. We then went to dinner. On the way out, we noticed a loud group partying in the back of the hotel and more people loitering. When we returned from dinner, the crowd had gotten louder and more boisterous and several individuals were sitting in the hallway. When we complained, we were told that the place is filled with students from a local trucking school. That wouldn't be bad if the students didn't loiter in the lobby, in the hall, and pretty much anywhere they can both inside and outside of the hotel. In fact, a police officer that ended up having to come that night said they get called to the location on a regular basis. After that, we bailed. We just didn't feel comfortable there. Now here's where things become unacceptable. Because we had "stayed" in the hotel room for longer than 15 minutes (while we were at dinner), they refused to give us a refund. Worse, when I called the customer relations department for Choice Hotels, they made me wait for 2 days so they could get the hotel's side of the story. Even after I called back and made my plea again, I only got $50 back, as they claimed this hotel is independently owned and operated and "can't be responsible for other guests." I was dumbfounded! It makes me question whether I'll ever stay in a Choice Hotels location ever again. read more

This was the only hotel in the area with vacancy so we had to stay here. You would think a room at this price would afford you a nicer stay... As another reviewer noted, there is an odd odor that was not only restricted to the hallways, but in the room as well. The bathroom did not look clean; there was urine and hairs on the toilet seat. Checked in late, no problem. It was going to freeze overnight so I turned the heat on as soon as I got to my room and went straight to bed. I woke up very early, and was freezing with my face under the covers so I went to max out the heat and went back to bed. When I got up at 8 the room was even colder...I checked the heater...it was on full blast. Internet doesn't work either. Went to breakfast and some guy was smoking so I told the front desk about it and said its a health code, doesn't matter it's it's a Vape, he's still smoking and blowing on me and kids. She apologized and I went back to breakfast. I had to go back a while later and interrupt her chatting with another employee to tell her someone needs to ask him to stop as a health code violation. She snapped at me, 'I will when I'm finished here!' NO HEAT NO WORKING INTERNET (I tried to call the help number and that didn't work either) RUDE Staff.... Now I remember why I never got a rewards membership....no quality here. read more

Nice little hotel. Service was excellent, even had a little pool, even though we were staying here for a convention and didn't get to use it. Marilyn (I think this was the name I was given) helped me arrange transport to the convention in Indy when I stayed behind from my friends. She worked a couple times we were there and her customer service was awesome. I really appreciated her help. She recommended Lawrence Transportation. There was no uber and I was afraid a taxi would be really expensive from that distance. The driver that showed up was the owner of that business. His car was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. I was leary about getting in the car with a stranger, but i figured Im a big guy, I shouldn't be worried. He showed up, and was really polite, we talked the whole way to town and the fare was much better than I expected. He did a great job, and I would review him, but he doesn't show up here, and to be honest, I wouldn't have found him if it weren't for Marilyn. That morning I had stayed back with a migraine for a couple hours and had left the don't disturb sign on the door, and at 1 when I was leaving, clearly housekeeping was done in our end, but this nice younger lady came and asked me if I needed anything done in the room, and we came back later and it was nice. Even if she wasn't going out of her way, I thought she was. Two downsides. Free breakfast doesn't always mean good. They had eggs and cheese and biscuits and gravy, but no meat, and I wasn't the only one to say something about it. I don't know why exactly it bothered me but it did. Secondly, the sign out front says free WiFi, but it only extends about halfway down both sides of the building, we were no signal the entire weekend, unless we sat in the hallway (we didn't) or the lobby. BEWARE, DISHONEST GREEDY MANAGER! I had to leave after one night on a 3 day reservation paid through Choice Hotels website. I spoke to the nice lady at the front desk at around 10:00 AM. I gave her the keys and she assured me she would check me out so I could redeem my points for the last couple days. When I called Choice in the afternoon, they said I was not marked as having checked out. They called the manager and he said I was lying. Why would I leave without checking out and forfeit my payment? Choice is always great with me, but this is very disappointing. Greed is so ugly and low class. read more

Very friendly staff. I have been here a couple of times for extended stays. It is very quiet. There are some strange odors here and there, perhaps since it is a pet friendly hotel. I would choose this one over the others at this exit. read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times within the last few years. It's my half way point for my travels. I have never had any issues with this hotel until this time. A door was missing from the front of the building, the side door barely opens when you want it to. It's now 100% smoke free but the rooms that used to be smoking rooms smell horrible and like stale smoke. The room I stayed in was filthy, the carpet was coming up, there was stains all over two of the four pillow cases. The bed skirt had god only knows what on it. This hotel needs a desperate update, even some new paint and carpet would make it 100% percent better. read more

On our way back home we stopped in this hotel because we had another 5-6 hr drive ahead of us and it was already 11pm. Us included my sister, my mom and my grandma. Both of which are physically handicapped and also have night time oxygen to carry in along with luggage. We prebooked on trivago and pulled in to a handicap parking spot. On check in they told us no room was available on first floor that we needed but there was one on second floor. That was fine until we realized this place is NOT handicap accessible. There are NO elevators. Only stairs. I'm not 100% sure but isn't that a non compliance from ADA? Either way my mother stayed until her refund she had to demand back was given and the manager will be called bright and early about the non compliance. Thankfully there was a comfort inn next door that gave us a great deal after we explained our issue here at quality inn. If you have a physical disability I do not recommend this place. read more
