She has helped my son mastered alphabets, phonics and foundational math skills. Beyond academics, she has also been doing a great job developing his social emotional skills. My son used to be very shy and now with her patience and understanding, he has built strong confidence when interacting with others. In addition, she is also top notch in communicating with us about the development of our son so that we know how to collaborate better with her at home and at school. We feel very fortunate to have Ms Swati as our son's teacher. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to prepare their kids well for stepping into K. The rest of the school staffs are also wonderful. Ms. Liz, the school Director warmly greets the kids and parents every morning. She is always willing to listen and truly understands the students need. We are very grateful of her and all the school staffs to make QL a wonderful place for our kids to grow and learn.

From the very beginning, she has been nothing short of amazing, caring, gentle, loving, and kind. Starting school was a huge transition for our little one (and us!) but Ms. Ekhlas made it a smooth experience for our family. She gave our child so much personal attention and care during those early days, helping him adjust quickly; within just one week, he was running into her arms with hugs every morning. That's when we knew she truly cares for each and every child in her classroom. Ms. Ekhlas is incredibly attentive and communicative. She regularly sends us updates and lots of adorable pictures. It's clear she puts so much thought and effort into creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. From fun learning activities to creative play, she keeps the children engaged and excited to come to school. She also goes above and beyond for the parents, planning thoughtful events like a sweet Mother's Day Brunch that made us feel so appreciated and connected to the school community. We honestly wish Ms. Ekhlas could be our child's teacher forever. Her warmth, dedication, and passion for teaching shine through in everything she does. We are endlessly grateful for her and cannot thank her enough for the love and care that she gives our baby. Ms. Ekhlas is truly the best!

The curriculum is student driven and the kids love it. We've tried a few different preschools in Pleasanton between our 2 kids and if you need full day care this is the place to go. It's at the site of the old Kidango and another preschool before that, but they've made some improvements. The price is competitive with other private preschools but you get so much more -- more attention, more science based toys, more teachers, more fun. They do not make lunch for the kids but that may be in the plans for later. They do have great interactive lessons for the kids: making cornbread, learning about birds and nests with real nests, having a table filled with dirt and digging in it, jars of caterpillars and buckets of worms, building gigantic magnatile buildings, etc. Great preschool. Wish they were around for our older child. The best thing is that the school is a part of the Pleasanton Unified School District so you know that all the teachers are screened and are up to the standards of the PUSD.

The school's front lawn, planters and school garden are nicely manicured. It's a good inviting place for students and their family. My daughter was in TK (transitional kindergarten) with Mrs. Foley and TA Mrs. Kaelin. These wonderful women have gotten my daughter off to the right start. The TK class is gated off since it's the first building closest to the office and is split with a kinder class. It's near the school garden and front entrance and it's really convenient, trust me. The curriculum is awesome too! They learn lots with choice time, fundamentals, numbers/letters and cooking Friday just to name a few. The school community is inviting and welcoming. What better thing to have than moms and dads working together for their family's education. My daughter will be starting kindergarten soon and I'm confident and secure that Lydiksen Elementary has prepared her and will continue to help her grow as a student and person. Mr. Berg is the principal and good with the kids. There isn't a day my daughter doesn't say hi to him and he always returns the hello with a smile! It literally makes my daughter's day and makes her feel important and like she matters, thank you Mr. Berg! Thanks for reading!!

But as soon as I walked in I felt at ease. This was the third place I toured and I instantly knew it was going to be the right fit. Lindsay explained their philosophy which really emphasizes play based learning, (exactly what we were looking for) and just taking to her and watching the teachers interact with the kids I could tell that everyone really cares about these children, that it's not just a job. Their outside areas are big and shady and well equipped and the kids get a ton of time out there which I feel is crucial at this age. And my kid LOVES IT. He's been there for a little over a year and is excited to go every day. He always tells me how much he loves all the teachers and always wants to make them cards. His social skills have gotten better, he's made a bunch of friends, and he's learned a lot more than I expected at this age. The skills he is gaining impress me daily. I know some parents like daily updates on their child's progress, and you can get that here, but you have to ask for it. You won't get an email or a long conversation at pick up time everyday. But I just always check in with the teachers a few times a week and they're happy to talk with me or email with me. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Being able to leave my child somewhere I feel he is truly safe and cared for is so important.
