No offense to the positive reviewers, but this was the worst elementary school that I had ever gone to. Most of my teachers except for Mr. Hunt hated me...and so did most of the kids outside every class of mine, no matter which grade I was in. Even Ms. Schrass (who was my kindergarten teacher) really hated me, and so did Mrs. Castle (who was Miss Duncan back then and, therefore, my first-grade teacher, even though she got better as I got a little older), Mrs. King (my second grade teacher; Mrs. Schinske was okay sometimes), Mrs. Kimball (my third grade teacher, though not as much anymore) and Mrs. Irvine (my fourth grade teacher).
But it didn't end there; most of the kids outside of every class I was in bullied me everyday and none of those little girls outside of every class I was in (except for my third (sometimes), fourth and fifth grade years, respectively) wanted to play with me, ever; they would always taunt me, say that I worthless (one if them even screamed out loud enough for the whole school to hear and I quote, "[my name here] cuts herself everyday and she has the scars to prove it!" or "[my name here] picks her nose everyday and she has enough boogers on her fingers to prove it! She's so disgusting!") and, one day, even went so far into telling me to kill myself; one of them even yelled to my face and I quote, "[my name here], go kill yourself, you stupid, ugly, disgusting dork! Everyone hates you! You are an embarrassment to yourself, your family and even this school! I highly suggest it because everyone agrees!" As soon as the final bell rang and class got dismissed, I ran home crying that day.
And then there was Principal Collins and she was a mean old bat. She often hated me, so I hated her back. One time, back in my fourth grade year and after we came back from our field trip to Pleasanton to see some play about the gold rush, and we were supposed to continue working on our project about whales and I didn't really feel like it and of course, I bit Ms. Carlson (who was my para-educator atm) and even though I deeply regretted it after that, the damage was done and as soon as my mom was called in, I not only got suspended for two days, but Principal Collins even threatened me with permanent expulsion and even told my mom and I quote, "you should beat her!"
I could go on, but to make this long review (and a negative one too) short, I will never come back to that school (even if it's just for a visit) and if I have kids, I will enroll them into better schools than this. As for thise who left positive reviews, I'm sure that you guys (and your kids too) must've had better experiences in that school than I ever did and I'm glad that you did. Kudos to your kids' beautiful teachers in there, for they must've been the perfect elementary school teachers that I never had. read more
