When they moved campuses in 2015 that's when it all started going downhill. They had to renovate an office building to be the foundation for the upbringing of kids. We didn't have any real grass; we played kickball on a patch of turf. The hallways and cafeteria felt like that of a hospital's and the classrooms were white walls and brown carpet. When I started struggling with my mental health in middle school, there was no support system, I literally had to tell the Dean all of my problems. Everyone was the same and bland. Also the change in teachers was so frequent and confusing like you'd have a teacher for one year and then they'd leave the school and you'd be taught by another teacher who was just starting their first year. The tuition is expensive for such little resources like the computers we used were from 2005, no yearbooks, discontinued bus services (I had to ride the public bus for 30 minutes everyday), there was no sense of community or understanding for students. Overall if you want your kids to attend school and not an internship, don't send them here.

He speaks about the education, the staff and the whole experience. I agree with him wholeheartedly. I was a single parent, and the tuition took about every cent I had. I have never regretted it. It was worth every cent I had to spend. As a result Of his experience, both my grand children are the products of private schools. Whether or not, they are as good as DE, I d o not know, but I do know they are better than the public school system. If Nancy and Jerry are still there, hello from Sandy Richmond . Ryan remembers you fondly.

She started with Ms Mamta, who was amazing with the transition. She was so patient and accommodating to all of her big feelings. She very quickly started loving school. From the very beginning, Ms. Swarnali has created a warm, nurturing environment where she has felt safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. Ms. Swarnali consistently uses positive reinforcement to guide and motivate her students. Her approach has helped my daughter grow not only academically, but also emotionally. I've seen tremendous improvements in her confidence and the way she interacts with others -- changes that I credit directly to Ms. Swarnali's support and teaching style. It is clear that Ms. Swarnali is deeply committed to the well-being and development of her students. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as part of my daughters early learning journey.

We had three kids going to this school one graduated Cal High last year . The one Consistent thing at this school was always blaming home and the kids for any missing work or falling behind .once a teacher with name of Coby goes the extra mile to tell my third grader boy at the time to stop speaking his original language at home and needs to speak English only because she thought he was talking while in class . After yelling at him in-front if the class . At the Beginning of COVID closures and going online there principal Haar had quit on the kinds and whole school . Went transferred somewhere else so won't miss his undisputed good record for years god forbid he had to do some work then may expose his incompetence .same with the district school superintendent went to retire at the same time . At the time of COVID the were not only not or paired like everyone else they were not available and didn't have a plan for COVID and how to run classes . The missed our dough yet placement because we requested online when they had kids to come back to school so she missed her place in class so had to be transferred to another school and missed almost a month worth of school work . The school almost always find excuses for there failure than finding reasons to make things work . There answer to everything" we can't , it not up to us really, you have to talk to the district. We can put you in the waiting list" I don't recommend this school for anyone .they live off there reputation from the past . Hope to see change to Better . School should be a partners and educators . They have our kids most of Days . We don't blame them for there bad behaviors they absorb . Just do your job.

Most importantly, the kids really look forward to going! Here are the things we love most about Diablo hills country school: - flexible hours and reasonable pricing - incredible outdoor play area for the kids - kind teachers and communicative administration - so many fun and enriching activities - we also really like that it's family owned with a long history in the area.. that's hard to find these days.

Our daughter started at DHCS when she was two and she's now almost five. When we were looking for a…read morepreschool, we wanted a safe place where she could flourish creatively while also building the academic foundation she would need for kindergarten. We visited many other schools, but none of them made us feel like our child's happiness and safety were truly the priority. Many were Montessori programs with rigid classroom settings and rules that we felt were unnecessary for kids at this age. The family-run team at DHCS has always made us feel like partners in raising our daughter. Communication has been great and it's clear they really know each child individually. They've been flexible with schedule changes and even welcomed us back without requiring re-enrollment when we briefly tried a school closer to home after our second child was born. We continue to do the 30-minute drive each way because of how much benefit we've seen this school provide to our daughter. Over the years we've seen our daughter become more confident, social, and excited about learning, which has been wonderful to watch. They teach the kids about different holidays and cultures and always find a reason to celebrate. We also really appreciate how diverse the student body and teachers are, which helps create a welcoming environment where kids are exposed to many different backgrounds. They're not the cheapest school and not the most expensive, but for us it has absolutely been worth it. Every concern or piece of feedback we've provided has always been taken with great care and met with a professional, non-defensive attitude. A huge added bonus is the location -- the police station is right next door, which gives us extra peace of mind as parents. They also have a giant playground with all kinds of outdoor activities for the kids, and they strongly encourage outside play. The only downside is that they don't have a third location in Castro Valley or Hayward. One can dream... hint hint, Miss Angie and Miss Coco :)
