Wicket

Mirielle has been grooming our Yorkie, Wicket, for at least a year, and she is wonderful! She always is attentive to our wants and needs for our wee Ewok warrior! The facility is clean, appears to be well-staffed, and we give them 2 thumbs up!

Have taken care of my dog for almost 8 years. She loves to go there and always is excited in morning when she knows she gets to go. Employees have always been accommodating to us and recommend them often.

Took my yorky to healthy hound to get groomed. I was wishing them luck and love before I ran out of there fingers crossed. To say my dog Jake is a spitfire is an understatement. Many have tried many have failed! When I picked him up I was so pleasantly surprise and happy. Jake looked like a prince. Mandy did a sensational job. Considering she was cutting a moving target, that is some real talent. I will definitely be back.

What a great job of grooming! Our dogs look fantastic! Mirielle did a wonderful job - we will be return customers!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Took my dog here for a groom when I got him back he was missing hair, was crying in pain when I would pet him.

One week after getting a clean bill of health from the veterinarian, we boarded our 6 month old puppy for 10 days. The Dog Zone manager Jen called us for the first time on day number 9 of our vacation, to tell us that our puppy had not been eating for several days and was vomiting. Still confused on why no phone call was made to us on day one of our puppy not eating or on day one of vomiting! Jen was more concerned about someone coming to pick up our sick puppy to get her out of there, but gave absolutely no concern for our puppy hanging on to her life. I am assuming if she could get the puppy out of the building, then she cannot be held responsible for animal neglect. We were out of the country and insisted that our puppy be taken to a veterinarian immediately, rather than someone picking her up. I will say Jen did finally take our puppy half dead, to a veterinarian, which should have been done the first day of her showing signs of being sick. The veterinarian stated she was barley responsive ,had pale gums, low white blood cell count and low body temperature when she arrived. She was put on oxygen immediately, due to her inability to breathe on her own!! The Dog Zone Manager Jen only told us our puppy was not eating and had vomited. Jen said she did not even think that our puppy would need any overnight care at the veterinarian. We had our puppy transferred to an emergency veterinarian and we authorized aggressive treatment to save her life. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, from likely aspirating her own vomit. The veterinarian believed the pneumonia happened over sometime and not the same day the manager notified us. Even after aggressive treatment our puppy could not be saved and we could not even say goodbye to her because we were in another country. If we had been notified the first day our puppy was not eating we would have insisted she be taken to a veterinarian immediately. But, Jen is not the only individual at the business that was aware of my puppy barely hanging on to her life because my puppy had been in this severe medical condition for days!!!!! Where is the humanity and compassion for our furry family members OR are all of the employees at this company just wanting to get the "problem pet" out of the building, so they don't have to be held responsible for their pure malice. This boarding/ daycare may seem trustworthy but do not make the mistake we did by trusting them with your furry loved ones. Now our puppy will never see her first Christmas!

Coming from the competitive dog sport world, and holding a degree in Cynology (the study of canines or domestic dogs), it seems Bart has been a passionate and lifelong student of the dog. Just google and see for yourself. Rather than "quick fixes", he dives deep to understand first and foremost, your dog. For example, understanding HOW your dog operates is fundamental to building a healthy relationship to him/her so that your dog does things WITH you (and not FOR you). This is the critical foundation which Bart builds upon in shaping the behavior of all the dogs he works with. It just makes sense. Since we brought our German Shepherd pup to him last year, we have watched his remarkable transformation around obedience to now protection work. And it hasn't just been him! I have learned so much through Bart's online resources, lectures, and important discussions. This has been so much fun. In summary, we have discovered in Bart, a rare combination of practical expertise, scientific understanding, and authentic compassion and advocacy for dogs. We cannot recommend him more!

Once a week got him on phone & told he would email or call...none of either. Phone won't accept voicemail, no response to text. There are 4 of us who compete in events listed on his website with two of us who have tried to nail him down for training, with being left feeling he has no interest. One has been trying for months. Having to go with somebody else to train with after well over reasonable amount of waiting with no attempt from Bart to return contact. Blows my mind how a trainer can just ignore multiple long term clients who are looking for somebody to train with closer to home. Will look at him again if he surfaces. But we have dogs in need and competitions upcoming and can"r afford to sit and wait to see if he surfaces. One of the group has already been with Scott Haywood w Centrailia Pet Resort, I'm going to sign up tomorrow as he has followed through with getting back, setting prices, and setting concrete schedules.
