I was not happy with the customer services during my stay after I waited fourty minutes to be check out. This Latina girl let a white guy and latino male cut infront of me. I was shock and hurt it took another staff member to make me feel better by taking the initative to give me my prescription order. I have had 3 official visits here now. One time I saw two doctors and paid two copays in the same visit. The first doctor literally referred me to the second doctor immediately. So they got more money from me. The waits are long here. There is a lot of staff here. There is a reception desk with 3-5 employees up front, behind the doors is a large square room surrounded by individual private rooms. In this large room it appeared to contain 15-20 additional staff, maybe more. As you exit, there is another additional administrative desk with 2-3 employees. I only mention this because all three times I waited about 1 hour from the appointment time. The staff is fairly friendly. I feel that this healthcare facility is essentially all about the money. In addition to charging me for 2 dr. visits at once, they charged me a $35 fee for the necessary paperwork to request state disability. On top of all this, my original Dr. misdiagnosed me with a sprain, and it turned out to be a fracture. I would not recommend Heathpointe based on my experiences. It is more about herding cattle through the system and making the most money can giving a quality experience. The wait times were borderline offensive. Perhaps covid is partially to blame for this? I would also add that I have great health insurance and rarely use healthcare services. read more

I've been to other Healthpointe facilities and there is no comparison to the staff at the Temecula office. They have been consistently great! They seem to go out of their way to greet you in a friendly manner and offer their assistance if something is needed. Also, I've noticed that appointments in this office seem to run on time. To me doing the little things matter because it will all add up to the overall experience. In particular, I'd like to note two ladies that were outstanding on this visit. This place is a nightmare multiple locations, Dr's are only at each facility specific days. It has improved since COVID, now we can do telemedicine appointments. Have been going here for a few years, due to work-comp. wouldn't be my choice of providers. Girls in the office are nice. If you have to call you have to play 90 questions to get the person to transfer you to the location you need. Sure it limits people from calling but to answer a bunch of questions to some random person that answers the phone to see if they will grant you the ability to talk to the office you need is a joke. Nothing the dr orders is easy work comp denies everything, not the drs fault just a lousy system. You could fix this place by not having rotating doctors, a direct line and keep the telemedicine video conferences. read more

I'm new to this office with a longtime spinal workers Comp injury but was referred to this office by workers comp staff. Of course, the initial appointment was extensive paperwork. They had my entire medical history and scans sent to them a month in advance which chronically explains all of their 8 page questionnaire questions. First I was interviewed my a technician about certain aspects of my history. Finally the doctor arrives and asked more of the same questions. Eventually we start talking about where we go from here. Maybe more physical therapy, nerve blocks, epidural injection and continue the same meds. I was pointed to the reception room to wait for medication scripts. A total of 4 hours spent. I long first appointment. The front desk personnel were accommodating and personable which was very pleasant considering the wait for a patient with chronic back spasms. read more

What a cosmic joke the pain management "doctor" Jonathan Lee is. Avoid him at all costs. Not overly impressed with the staff either. 9am appointment time and I finally get taken to a room at 9:55 and the Lee comes in at 10:10. At no time did the 2 people behind the counter mention a delay. As far as Jonathan Lee goes he's the worst pain management doctor (and he is NO doctor! He's a sanctimonious ass) I've ever had the sorry fortune to be under the "care" of. From the start all Lee had to say was what he wouldn't be doing for me. It quickly became clear he didn't want to be hassled with me or my medical needs. Basically said all he would be doing is requesting physical therapy or if I need a wheelchair I could go through him. Never once did he suggest a plan of treatment. ..never once addressed treating my pain. He cracked a couple of dorky jokes and then basically told me to eff off as he left the room with no goodbye, I just love when rude asses do stuff like this to prove how assy they are. I miss my classy pain doc that went the extra mile... Lee should break every bone in his body. ..then maybe he'd learn a little compassion and empathy. One can only hope. read more

Dr moralize wasnt very personable, I had an injury at work happen, he claimed it was emotional de stress. Sent me home and I requested to see the other doctor, Hewitt. Amazing. Hands down amazing. Got me XRAYS the first day seeing him, to find I have a fracture. Hewitt listens and actually examines the body and takes the procautions for not further damaging your body, while letting it get worse. He's straight and to the point and doesn't jerk you around with answers. Thank you Dr. Hewitt and your assistant for going above and beyond! read more

Not scheduled 3 weeks out for a check.up and no specialist appt . But wait the specialist is on vacation for another month .. lol Even the pharmacy in san diego won't take their scripts . I'm a new patient of Dr. Alupay's and after a long day of doctor's appointments and the dreaded traffic on the 15, I wasn't exactly thrilled when my pharmacist refused to fill my prescriptions because they had been written incorrectly. It was a very simple mistake, missing only a number, but quickly became a bigger issue because this particular medication was a controlled substance so I would need a whole new prescription! Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper. But Yanni to the rescue! Not only did she quickly return my call with many apologies, she personally arranged for me to have a new, written prescription and met me near where I lived to avoid sitting in traffic, JUST so I could have my medication. I am highly dissatisfied with the non-existent professionalism that occurs at this medical office. I would avoid at all cost. They make you wait for an incredibly long time. Dr. Kim saw my boyfriend for, at most, 10minutes, then they go and charge for the entire time of WAITING instead of charging just the actual patient-doctor interaction and what was done during the visit. What upsets me the most is that my boyfriend was left in more pain than when he got in and I felt highly offended of the insinuating tone Dr. Kim has when he has the audacity to ask "What is wrong with him" before I leave the clinic. We came to a doctor's office to find out what was wrong, but instead got an I'm incapable of helping you, please see another doctor. We came here hoping for answers about chronic pain, instead we got looked down upon like we weren't even human. There is no communication between the front desk and the doctor either. We sent medical records and X-rays , which I asked the front desk if they had them (they said yes) and Dr. Kim said that he didn't receive them. All in all, it was an absolute waste of time and money ever coming to this medical office. It's incredibly frustrating to find doctors so uncaring about the wellness of patients. Having grown up around the health field it's no wonder why people are practically on their death beds before they seek out doctors. I had a Scheduled appointment for my daughter and even received an email from the office with the time, date and details. When I got there they said her appt was scheduled for last month which is weird considering I called after that date. This is very frustrating because I left work early, pulled my daughter out of school and not to mention her knee is in pain! I know that mistakes happen but the front office lady went to talk to office manager and they could not see us! The manager didn't come out to talk to us either. Very unprofessional. The soonest appointment they had to see my daughter was 2 weeks out at 11! So she would have to miss more school and suffer through the pain for 2 more weeks! No thank you! I will not be going to Health Point for any of my families health care needs. Update : I received a phone call 5 days after my scheduled appointment ,when it was convenient for them! This issue should have been resolved the day of my schedule appointment. I was there on time with paper work filled out. It was not my mistake! The new building is amazing but satisfaction with care is poor in the doctor office. The doctor office you will have an appointment and not be seen for an hour. Then you have to wait for the doctor who does not greet you or seem to know who you are or why you are there. There isn't common courtesy such as speaking directly to you or knocking at the door or simply shutting the door while talking. I can say one positive thing is the doctor will show you your results and explain them to you. The THERAPY people are amazing and make you feel comfortable. They work really hard to make sure you are feeling better with each visit. They see you promptly and make the most of your time. The facility and equipment are amazing. I waited an hour and a half for my turn to do a hair follicle testing. The guy cut a big plug out of my goatee instead of just cutting a nice even area. my goatee was long enough for you to cut it evenly now I have a big bald patch on my chin and my at-work wife has left me and gone back to her boyfriend because I look like a bafoon. I dont get why it takes so long to be seen. Smh they have got to do better yall. I would suggest you call and make an appointment if possible as the wait is crazy long. read more

Highly dissatisfied with this place. Went in for a workmanship comp claim. Waited 2 hours past my appointment. Here is the main problem you will have: No communication. If any request is made from your workmans comp insurance with your permission, they do not provide it. Any script for MRI's you better damn well get a copy of while your there. Otherwise your insurance co will wait forever while your in pain. YOU WIll have to do their work they should have done. I got the run around and had to see the doctor again just to get ANOTHER script because shame on me, it should have been a CT and not an mri because of metal implants, which they did not answer back to my insurance co. I had to spend hours on the phone with both parties and take it upon myself to get copies and relay info back and forth. Your time is free to them so why should they do it eh? read more

If your time is not of any value then this is the medical facility for you. Dr Lee (pain management) is never on time for appointments. 45 minutes to an hour late is common. New patient's are always at the counter complaining about the wait. While established patients smirk in the waiting room. I have been a chiropractic patient for many years. I was recently in a motor vehicle accident and sought treatment at Healthpointe with Dr. Timothy Chiu. Dr. Chiu has shown me a different, and I believe an improved, approach to chiropractic treatment. Instead of the common "cracking" he uses neuropathic science to track the true origin of one's pain and the results are amazing. I will never return to traditional chiropractic care, and I tell everyone about my newfound physician and this most excellent care I am now receiving.
