When I didn't get the results my surgeon hoped for with physical therapy alone and now had to get surgery, I knew I wasn't chancing it with my PT post op. The main difference: - It is direct with your physical therapist the entire session. There are no PT aides. Not really my place to judge the insurance model of physical therapy but to actually have direct sessions with the actual Dr. ensuring you're doing every exercise right and hands on work is undoubtedly more valuable, especially if you have limited time. You're not 1/3 or 1/4 patients in the hour for one physical therapist, it's just you. I learned more and practiced more exercises in one full session than I felt I wasted time with going for 2-3 weeks in the other model. Cost to value (including time spent) is a no brainer to choose Chief for me. I had really high expectations for not using insurance, they were all met and exceeded. I also had a severe elbow dislocation and complex case and Dr. Allen was up for the challenge. I was given clear exercises and he remembered where my progress was every follow up session. He helped me in my post op journey and my elbow is doing really well. Can't recommend Chief PT enough!

After being diagnosed with nerve impingement in my shoulders, my doctor wrote an Rx for PT, suggesting another place in town. After seeing the reviews, I went to Chief. I am super impressed with the personal service and having a one on one with the same therapist (doctor). They really know their stuff and how the body is supposed to work. I had previously been given shoulder exercises elsewhere, but had never been taught the nerve glide that stretches the shoulder nerves to your fingertips. That and other exercises practiced at home proved to be the treatment I needed. The video instructions provided were extremely helpful to teach me to do the PT on my own. I love that this is a small practice that treats patients individually. It really made a difference in my treatment, and a bigger difference in my quality of life. The odd compliment was to stop going to their business because they taught me the skillset I needed to improve my situation. I appreciate how the exercises were explained as to the benefits they would provide. I will add one piece of advice to this review. Before surgery, seek out different doctors in different practices. Sometimes a neurosurgeon might readily intervene when physical therapy is the better treatment option. Based on my symptoms, I had two cervical discs fused and am not convinced the surgery was the best approach. Ironically, an orthopedic surgeon quickly diagnosed my shoulder nerve impingement and suggested PT over surgery. I will never know if my cervical fusion was necessary, but I am glad to have significant pain reduction and mobility thanks to the treatment at Chief Physical Therapy.

As I am a resident of Murrieta, I've been a patient of Dr. Chakrabarty Sr.'s son for five or six years and it gave me the honor to to meet the man who inspired him. He couldn't say enough of how proud he was of a son who out-did his own father. He even gave me a tour of his office and showed me a family photo. I told him how much I always admired the kind of medicine they practice, and how G.I. Excellence and Trinity never get enough atta-boys for the lives they literally save., or in my case are spared from Barretts leading to Cancer. I have his son and the team at Trinity to thank for that. He said, "probably 97% of patients sit in our offices and tell us similar things, but it's that 3% 'vocal minority' that make their negative experiences known on yelp and google. However (and it's a big however!) they give you all you need to file a claim with your insurance to get reimbursed. Additionally, the personal care I received from Dr. Jergenson and Karisa was outstanding. Not only are they using the most modern machines to make an appliance to fit my mouth, but they also guided me through the process and explained the benefits of all procedures. Miraculously to me (but expected by Dr. Jergenson) my quality of sleep and my bite have improved tremendously! So before I any treatment is done I'm already out $500!! With no guarantee that I will get resolution to my problem. With additional appointments and mouth guards or apparatuses I could easily be out thousands of dollars. The fact that you have to walk into this blind-sighted is what really makes giving him a chance hard. I can't speak in Dr. Jergensons care because I don't think that this is a good starting point for me. Especially when I have great insurance! I know my dentist highly recommended him but I don't think my dentist is aware that he does not accept ANY insurance (anymore?). It is unfortunate that they don't accept insurance. I will be going through my insurance to receive X-rays, chiropractic care, and mouth guards. I will also use my $500 to get specialty massages, and explore Botox, maybe?

i wanted physical therapy, doctor kept pushing me to get an epidural. i didn't want one because…read moreit's a serious procedure and it scares me. so i think because of that he was rude and not helpful at all. i told him i don't want opioids right away so they wouldn't treat me like a drug seeker, but he was irritated anyway. apparently i have no say in my treatment and he gets to decide for me...if not i won't be helped. he was dismissive and didn't gaf about helping. i got 3 mris the week i hurt my back, went to the er twice, and ive been pretty much sedentary since i got hurt. i guess dr. dingleberry knows more about my pain than i do. the american health care system sucks because of people like them....it took at least 20 phone calls just to get an appointment. an appointment with a rude and incompetent "doctor"
