It has been over 3 weeks and nobody has bothered to call back. If this is the level of caring and concern they have for people who are suffering, maybe they should change the name of the practice to: "United Sadists Center" because that is what their actions have shown me. CARE QUALITY: 10/10 ALL of the staff at the front desk were all pretty young and mature. They are more patient over the phone and in person than most other front desk staff we've been too. They are all nice and beautiful folks. Cameron was a sweet heart who checked our blood pressure... DOCTOR UHLER: 10/10 He came in and just sat down with me and my husband. He really took his time to TALK and get to know us. We didn't feel rushed like most other offices we've been to. I remember spending about 5-15 minutes speaking with other doctors. I mean I understand doctors are busy but, doctor uhler spared at least 45 minutes of his time for us. We both have back problems so we were speaking to the right person. Several Google searches later and I found the SoCal TMJ and Sleep Center. I have to admit I was skeptical at first when I was told that they don't take insurance. However (and it's a big however!) they give you all you need to file a claim with your insurance to get reimbursed. Additionally, the personal care I received from Dr. Jergenson and Karisa was outstanding. Not only are they using the most modern machines to make an appliance to fit my mouth, but they also guided me through the process and explained the benefits of all procedures. Miraculously to me (but expected by Dr. Jergenson) my quality of sleep and my bite have improved tremendously! Moreover, the pain I noted on my first appointment has either completely disappeared or greatly diminished. Dr. Jergenson is fantastic and I can't sing his praises enough!

(I have extremely good coverage on my insurance) When I gave them a call they had extremely limited availability for new patient appointments which would result in me missing a day of work. The next thing that was shocking was that it's $100 just to book appointment. This does not include services or treatment. I asked what could be some additional costs I would be pay at the initial appointment and was told I would have to pay for x-rays which could range from $300-$400. So before I any treatment is done I'm already out $500!! With no guarantee that I will get resolution to my problem. With additional appointments and mouth guards or apparatuses I could easily be out thousands of dollars. The fact that you have to walk into this blind-sighted is what really makes giving him a chance hard. I can't speak in Dr. Jergensons care because I don't think that this is a good starting point for me. Especially when I have great insurance! I know my dentist highly recommended him but I don't think my dentist is aware that he does not accept ANY insurance (anymore?). It is unfortunate that they don't accept insurance. I will be going through my insurance to receive X-rays, chiropractic care, and mouth guards. I will also use my $500 to get specialty massages, and explore Botox, maybe?
