I started going to Chief Physical Therapy in October 2025 for neck and jaw pain and was treated…read morewith the Remy Class IV Laser. I noticed improvement after the first session and have continued to experience progress since then. I took an integrative approach to my treatment, which also included chiropractic adjustments to my neck and jaw, additional laser therapies at my chiropractor's office, and SoftWave therapy. To my surprise, the Remy laser was far superior to the SoftWave therapy for my condition. I believe this is because the laser was able to target certain areas that SoftWave could not. Additionally, the entire staff is friendly and incredibly helpful, from the receptionists to the therapists who administer the laser therapy. Rachel has administered most of my laser treatments, and she is the absolute best! I feel comfortable telling her where my pain points are, and she makes sure to address them. She also follows up on my progress and asks thoughtful questions to help me determine whether certain pain is referred or the primary source. I am very grateful to the entire Chief Physical Therapy team for their care, expertise, and support in helping me make meaningful progress in my health.

I have had physical therapy before and been passed along or left on my own, like in a gym. Chief…read morewas my first real physical therapy experience at age 65! After being diagnosed with nerve impingement in my shoulders, my doctor wrote an Rx for PT, suggesting another place in town. After seeing the reviews, I went to Chief. I am super impressed with the personal service and having a one on one with the same therapist (doctor). They really know their stuff and how the body is supposed to work. I had previously been given shoulder exercises elsewhere, but had never been taught the nerve glide that stretches the shoulder nerves to your fingertips. That and other exercises practiced at home proved to be the treatment I needed. The video instructions provided were extremely helpful to teach me to do the PT on my own. I love that this is a small practice that treats patients individually. It really made a difference in my treatment, and a bigger difference in my quality of life. The odd compliment was to stop going to their business because they taught me the skillset I needed to improve my situation. I appreciate how the exercises were explained as to the benefits they would provide. I will add one piece of advice to this review. Before surgery, seek out different doctors in different practices. Sometimes a neurosurgeon might readily intervene when physical therapy is the better treatment option. Based on my symptoms, I had two cervical discs fused and am not convinced the surgery was the best approach. Ironically, an orthopedic surgeon quickly diagnosed my shoulder nerve impingement and suggested PT over surgery. I will never know if my cervical fusion was necessary, but I am glad to have significant pain reduction and mobility thanks to the treatment at Chief Physical Therapy.

This time, we were forced to find one around Temecula because of our insurance so we searched on Yelp and saw that Doctor Uhler had really HIGH RATINGS! CARE QUALITY: 10/10 ALL of the staff at the front desk were all pretty young and mature. They are more patient over the phone and in person than most other front desk staff we've been too. They are all nice and beautiful folks. Cameron was a sweet heart who checked our blood pressure... DOCTOR UHLER: 10/10 He came in and just sat down with me and my husband. He really took his time to TALK and get to know us. We didn't feel rushed like most other offices we've been to. I remember spending about 5-15 minutes speaking with other doctors. I mean I understand doctors are busy but, doctor uhler spared at least 45 minutes of his time for us. We both have back problems so we were speaking to the right person. He gave us some referrals for physical therapy, requests for lab work and colonoscopy for my husband... What a GREAT FIND! He was also professionally working with Olympic Champions!! Doctor Uhler is patient, empathic and humble... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Uhler

Wonderful caring doctor with warm bedside manner. He is a rare find. Highly recommended!read more

Several Google searches later and I found the SoCal TMJ and Sleep Center. I have to admit I was skeptical at first when I was told that they don't take insurance. However (and it's a big however!) they give you all you need to file a claim with your insurance to get reimbursed. Additionally, the personal care I received from Dr. Jergenson and Karisa was outstanding. Not only are they using the most modern machines to make an appliance to fit my mouth, but they also guided me through the process and explained the benefits of all procedures. Miraculously to me (but expected by Dr. Jergenson) my quality of sleep and my bite have improved tremendously! Moreover, the pain I noted on my first appointment has either completely disappeared or greatly diminished. Dr. Jergenson is fantastic and I can't sing his praises enough!

(I have extremely good coverage on my insurance) When I gave them a call they had extremely limited availability for new patient appointments which would result in me missing a day of work. The next thing that was shocking was that it's $100 just to book appointment. This does not include services or treatment. I asked what could be some additional costs I would be pay at the initial appointment and was told I would have to pay for x-rays which could range from $300-$400. So before I any treatment is done I'm already out $500!! With no guarantee that I will get resolution to my problem. With additional appointments and mouth guards or apparatuses I could easily be out thousands of dollars. The fact that you have to walk into this blind-sighted is what really makes giving him a chance hard. I can't speak in Dr. Jergensons care because I don't think that this is a good starting point for me. Especially when I have great insurance! I know my dentist highly recommended him but I don't think my dentist is aware that he does not accept ANY insurance (anymore?). It is unfortunate that they don't accept insurance. I will be going through my insurance to receive X-rays, chiropractic care, and mouth guards. I will also use my $500 to get specialty massages, and explore Botox, maybe?
