Healthpoint in Bothell WA: Do not use their pharmacy! It is a nightmare to call their call center and talk to their rude staff! You can not call the clinic directly, call center experience is bad. 3 times they hung up on me. Once she did not know what Medicare was, then they would not let me make an appointment or talk to their supervisor!! Finally I talked to the supervisor and got the appointment. Use amazon pharmacy! they mail your medication to you when due and you don't have to do anything! Their online system is terrible, forget about getting refills or appointments on the website. I haver to constantly fight them pushing medications on me that I do not need. I will change to another pro vider very very soon!!! read more

Worst experience at the dentist I have ever had. They asked me to come in for a cleaning, and spent about 20% of the time doing that, the rest was spent ripping holes in my gums with a pick and wiggling it around until it went all the way through my gums to the other side. Then after that, she even managed to break one of my f--king fillings so now I have to go in again for that to get fixed when there was no need for me to even have my mouth mutilated in the first place. I would give a 0 if I could, I've had many bad experiences here and none good, yet this is still the worst of all. read more

Healthpoint is such an amazing place and group of medical professionals. Unlike most low/no cost options, Healthpoint doctors always follow-thru with patients and referrals to specialists. Special standouts include the pharmacists, and medical doctors, Dr. Munoz and Dr.Chin. The only complaint I ever had with Healthpoint Bothell was their inadequate phone service and response time. I just moved up to the area with prior horrible experiences with doctors my whole life. The doctors, staff and every other employee I've met at healthpoint were like a breath of fresh air. I only had to wait about five minutes to go to my appointment the few times I went there, and the doctors were wonderful. I ended up needing a blood draw the first day, and I'm very wary with those things because of my past experiences with other draws. This was the fastest, most accurate blood draw I've ever had. The doctors here really listen to you when you have a concern, and actually understand when you say you've tried something before and it didn't work for you. They're more than willing to provide you with different treatment plans if one doesn't suit you. read more

I am a practicing physician who previously received my medical care at this facility. The physicians are fine, but the service is unusable. They can't get insulin prescribed in time to prevent running out, and if you call you will be on hold for HOURS (the shortest was 1 hour and 45 minutes on hold). Leaving multiple voicemails you will never get a call back even for important updates; to this date I have NEVER received a single returned voicemail. And even if you move away and have fired them from being your health care provider, you might still get automated voicemails and messages asking you to come back in for more labs and followups. I'm so confused by this place. I had my first visit which was okay but I don't want to go back. First off I have received 6 voicemails in one week asking me to schedule a follow up appointment. I told them I did not want to schedule a new appointment with Dr. Manoj Easaw because I was told his name was "Issa Rae" which it is not and thought that was a female doctor. I am not comfortable with male doctors. I kept getting asked if I had a Pap smear recently which I said I was not comfortable getting having just met a new doctor. I also had to leave for work and the doctor kept saying I should get more blood work done that day even though I didn't want to that day and had to go to work. I told the office I wanted a new doctor and they said they would try to help me and then said they'll call me back. Then I get two phone calls with voicemails saying first that Dr. Easaw wants to schedule a phone appointment with me and then second saying he wants to schedule an in person appointment. I am so uncomfortable, what doctors office harasses you to schedule an appointment with them? I told them I did not want to see this doctor again and instead am left voicemails saying I need to schedule an appointment. I was also told I would be getting a release of records form but I did not want to fill it out bc the place felt off to me and was going to decline but the doctor said he went ahead and filled it out and requested my information from my last hospital!!!! I waited on hold for 94 minutes today to set an appoitment that the doctor told me to set. They told ME to call THEM, then put me on hold for over an hour and a half, and I still was not able to set an appointment. On top of that I have been complaining about shoulder pain that has been getting worse and worse for over a year, and they have done literally zero treatment. Not one single thing other that going over the same tests and imaging again and again, never actually coming up with any treatment at all. A clown office filled with useless do nothings who cannot even be bothered to pick up the phone and take appoitments they themselves told you to make. it feels like through the reviews that it very depends on what staff you talk to, how you get treated. a lot of people here say they are nice - a lot say they are awful. my experiences have always been towards the awful, particular with the people in management. they are always nice until you have a problem, and then it's just snippy snippy snippy. i told a manager that i was told to come inside, and he just yelled in my face about the fact that you have to wait until you're let in. like, i get it, that's fine, but i literally was doing as told, and u easily could have said that in a polite way instead of making me cry in my car. thanks!! i get the benefit of it as an institution, but last time i had an appointment i actually had to sit and psych myself up to come in because i was scared to deal with that manager guy. that's kinda sad. not how healthcare should go. read more

They don't have the call center staffed very well and cannot handle the volume of calls they're getting. You have to call at 8am sharp to get through at all. Even then it may take calling and waiting about a half hour a few times to reach someone. Managing bloodwork and medications has been a nightmare because you'll have an appointment, get given medicine and told to wait for a phone call with results to follow up. Then they'll call at random times when most people are working with a message to call them back to find out your results. So then you're back to the calling game where you'll have to try a few times to reach a person that then tells you they'll take a message because they're in a call center and can't actually transfer you to the person with your results. Asking for a time of day to watch for the call or to set a time when the person will call back doesn't help. Neither does telling them when you're free. Have you ever gone off your medicine cold turkey for a few weeks because you have to wait a month or two to get another appointment? Well, that's the standard of care here. The absolute worst part of all of this is that they have a patient portal with messaging and appointment requests set up but it's so badly managed that messages never get answered, appointments don't get scheduled and refill requests are flat out ignored. It actually doesn't matter what the doctors are like here because because the management/administration side of thins is so badly done you'll never consistently see a doctor there. Good luck. Literally the most awful clinic ever. They front desk girls are super rude except for one, her name is Jennifer but aside from her it was all attitude and aggression. My child need a form to start school and they told me I couldn't get the form, that my son needed to make an appointment, it's impossible to fill out the form without him seeing a doctor. This is a form that has never been a problem previous years but I guess now is. I asked when they had availability and they told me it was 3 weeks out, I told them that he couldn't miss 3 weeks of school and they said that it wasn't there problem. I told them I would like to speak to a manager or someone in charge and they kept sending out different nurses to tell me they couldn't do so I said it it again I will wait here to speak to a clinic supervisor. After making me wait another 20 minutes and no supervisor they gave me the signed form and told me they can just have a future appointment set?.. literally worst place ever. Do yourself a favor and go to a real doctors office, this clown show isn't worth the headache read more

I've been going here for a few years now but have just switched to a new clinic because of the experiences at this clinic. On my first visit with Dr. Easaw I told him about my repeat shoulder dislocations from a car accident, he proceeded to say he didn't think my shoulder was dislocating and "sometimes our shoulders just pop." I then went to UW where they did MRI imaging which showed I had a hills sach lesion which is caused by multiple dislocations, they did surgery and said the joint had extensive damage from chronically dislocating. I appreciated Dr. Easaw giving the referral to see an orthopedic doctor when I asked but didn't appreciate how he dismissed my very real medical problem. I also have osteoarthritis and cartilage erosion among other things with my right knee which i had surgery as a child, a recent mri revealed all this. I just had surgery on the left knee and asked my primary care doctor for a permanent disability placard. He went on to say that people with chronic pain also have it in the brain in that they're overly sensitive to it. This made me really angry because the flare ups I have aren't only painful but a loss of function in the joint, the mri showed why I have these flare ups so it was very frustrating he doesn't understand what osteoarthritis is. I am glad to have found a new clinic, I wouldn't go here for anything more than a cold. read more

I visited HealthPoint this past week for an annual physical and met with my new doctor there too. I was impressed with the building, but parking was very limited, there was only one parking spot in the entire lot that was available. I'm guessing there is street parking also available, but surprised there isn't an underground parking lot for this building size. The waiting room was pleasant with multiple check in points, though no clear signage meant it was somewhat confusing that you could check in at any point, so I waited around for a few minutes before being told to go to another check in desk. They were running right on schedule which I appreciated, and the doctors here run very much to a tight schedule, my entire appointment with my doctor was only 8 minutes or so. That being said, everything I needed was attended to well. The nurses here were also great. I would be more than happy to come here again, it's very convenient with the pharmacy upstairs to pick up a quick prescription too. read more

The people at health point make you feel like they really care about my health and me as a person. If your a little late, they don't mind. They will try to find the cheapest way to provide you the care you need and not order a bunch of extra tests. They have so much income building - docs, nurses, counselors, dentists, naturopath, nutrition lady, acupuncture, DSHS lady, WIC, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something but the rooms are clean and they have a giant TV in the waiting room. Front desk is nice and they speak lots of languages. Oh and they have a lady who helps you figure out how to get health insurance and a way to help people without insurance so that everyone can go there! Such a great place with such caring people. Will definitely go there again. Also will send family there. Add on - After reading the other reviews just now, I have to disagree the negative ones saying that the docs are disorganized. Yes, it is a community clinic but that means they are there for us when we are not rich - I feel like the docs are always organized, even when they are running late they know what meds I take and have a plan for what to do next. I know they have limited time because soooo many people need help and they want to help all of them, it seems. When I have a bunch of questions or complaints because I haven't been there in 6 months (or maybe more :) I now I'll have to make a follow-up appointment because I was supposed to make one in the first place (oops?). This is definitely not concerge clinic that only tells me what I want to hear because I pay them the big bucks, but that's not what I expect. I'm not a millionaire. I just need help and they are happy to give me help, so I'm so thankful for them. read more

Healthpoint is a government run clinic versus a real medical clinic. Very few MD's (Doctors). Okay for minor things but anything more complicated you need to be careful as they do misdiagnose. Most are skilled at simple things like the flu, a cold, flu shots, and basic health care. They seem to be more geared toward supplying preventative healhcare versus actual medical conditions. I recently moved to the area and have always had healthy good teeth. I went in for a simple cleaning at 8am. I arrived a few minutes early but still was not seen until 930. When they finally checked me in they took xrays and then a doctor came in presumably for the cleaning. She looked at my teeth for about 5 minutes and asked me if I had any tooth pain. I replied "No, never." She then said, well, you have 9 cavities (I've never had one in my life) and we will arrange a separate appointment to do the cleaning." I was so upset that I scheduled the cleaning with another dentist that didn't have this apparent record of lying about appointment types, times, and cavities; however my insurance only permits one set of Xrays per year. My new dentist sent in my request for the x-rays, which Healthpoint held for 4 business days until they were badgered by my new dentist, and then declared that they refuse to email or fax X-rays. I had to switch my appointment, and we requested a snail-mail set of X-rays. Healthpoint then waited another 3 business days before my new dentist followed up again and HealthPoint declared they hadn't and wouldn't get around to sending it anytime soon, and if I wanted it, I would have to go in-in person. They seemed friendly in person, but I am horrified at their policies, inconsistencies, and general lack of consideration for any of their clients. read more

This has been our regular family doctor for the past couple of years. Born out of bizarre health coverage and a need for a sliding scale clinic took me here, initially, but I imagine no matter the changes in the future, I'll do my best to make sure we *stay* here. I've had Group Health, Regence, and a ton of other insurance coverage that has since been bought out by others in my lifetime, and I have to say... No joke, Healthpoint is some of the *best* care my family has *ever* received. Knowledgeable staff, amazing doctors, no hassle referrals to anything and everything you may need, detailed follow up, on site pharmacy (some locations, including this one), and a large number of bi-lingual staff in multiple languages (and interpreter services) The customer service for scheduling has greatly improved over the years, as well. Being a former "call center monkey" in my dark and distant past, I admit, my standards for service are different than the average joe, and quite high. They've really raised the bar as time has gone on. This is not your everyday "low income" clinic. This is a great group of clinics and facilities (dental clinics as well) serving King County with professionalism, access to care and excellence in care that some of the biggest health providers can't hold a candle to. read more

The service has been great. Dentists and staffs are polite, friendly, and clear about what is to be done and how much it would be up-front. They have a sliding scale program, should one need it, which I think is a great option for making dental work affordable for everyone. So the actual health part of the building is nice very helpful. But the call line and the wait for it is outrageous. Not even that whoever picks up the phone is so rude and has no customer service. Now for the dental part of the building, the people that work there at the front office rude asf, I went in for my sons appointment already walking in rude. Instead of asking if I needed I mask they go and say "MAAM YOU NEED TO HAVE A MASK" usually they provide them once you walked in but I didn't see it this time. Once I was trying to make my appointment this lady that can pass as white but I heard her speak Spanish with blondish hair(best way I can describe her right now) was just giving straight up attitude to everyone walking in. I told her I needed to make a appointment for myself and then she started acting like she couldn't hear me. So when I was making my appointment she assumed that I didn't have day care cause I walked in with both my babies that day she goes "well you can't have them here when you have your appointment you know that right" like why did I have to hear her say that. Like I know it's common sense come on now like she's really looking for the right one ya know. So after she said that I lost all total respect for her so when we was about to be done talking and she was explaining something about if I needed to cancel a appointment I started to walk away not only did I feel embarrassed and bad for her I just walked once I got to the elevator she stood up and got loud and said "im still talking" and another girl with black hair Hispanic got up and started yelling as well "come back she's still talking to you do you want your appointment or not" you know how embarrassing and unprofessional that was. So now I want to talk to their supervisor and get an apology from both those little girls. Like why work in a professional place like that and not have good customer service. I bring my son to this clinic; they have dental and medical and free behavioral health service for patients of this clinic. Customer service is kind and always greet you with a smile; they accept all types of insurance and if you don't have coverage they'll bill you on a grading scale but they'll never turn you away. Been a patient there since 2015, first 2yrs great.... The past year and a half it's been impossible to be seen within a couple weeks so the immediate clinic has been our family dr basically. But a couple issues have come up that require my primary dr to see me so waiting a month to finally get seen regarding my malpositioned IUD that was noted when I was in the ER for Kidney stones, long story short I told her I didn't want another Iud and didn't have a clue what birth control I wanted and stated I'd use condoms if I end up having sex, she gives me a packet and tells me to reschedule when I decide, I ask if shes going to at least check the Iud like the ER stated needed to be done, she says no and mumbles an assumption of what the malpositioned is with out ever seeing the X-ray or checking so that's just malpositioned and oh well!!! And a month later a different issue my medical insurance required them as my primary to give me a referral, similar thing but this time I have an X-ray of my tore AC shoulder and explained the situation, she writes it off with a it's just out of alignment, refuses to even look at the X-ray on a cd states you can't see that in an X-ray. Yet I've been to two pay cash out of pocket places to get help with my shoulder and they had to stop concerned with the issue (massage and chiropractor) the chiropractor I showed the X-ray I finally demanded be done at the immediate clinic which is how I found out what the issue was with my shoulder, gave me a couple numbers to call because it needed to be graded for further treatment. The dr has actually kinda argued with me about appts! Saying there's same day emergency which clearly I've tried and then she's stated about a just seeing a nurse there within 2weeks yet trying to schedule that with just a nurse was 28 days soonest available! It's a joke now there and I'm not ok with being denied my iud removal and refusing to even check it just because I don't want another one! I've never felt like that someone refusing my own bodys health! I am not sure where I ever signed up for HAVING to be on some birth control option she's offering and my choice in condoms not be ok, like I swear it's my choice or at least I thought thats how it's suppose to be!!! Don't go there, my son had a horrible experience with the dental as well resulting in him not opening his mouth there again!!! read more

I am a patient here. I have been happy with the dental service when I can get an appointment, They never answer the phone. I always have to go call medical, which is downstairs to get transferred to dental, and sometimes that doesn't even work. When I finally get through they claim to be having phone issues. Really?? If you've read the other reviews, you'll see the trend - they do whatever they can to keep you coming back for appointment after appointment, even if it means not treating you completely the first time. I made an appointment for a blood draw which i needed this week as ordered by thr seattle children's hospital and after having to cancel my own plans and leave work early to go to this appointment the lady who was supposed to check me in told me i am not able to have this appointment because i havent seen my doctor in a while. My blood test is completely unrelated to your doctors, it was an Urgent blood test and you denied me access to your medical centers lab because i havent seen your doctor in about a year!
