I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with AdaptHealth has been exceptionally frustrating from start to finish. I was billed for supplies that I never received, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my calls went unanswered. It took three weeks just to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment to exchange a CPAP mask that was not working for me. When I was finally able to speak with a representative, I was told that I could not exchange the mask I received even though it was within the 30 day window and would have to pay out of pocket for a different one. I was also informed--for the first time--that the 30-day trial period only applies when you initially receive the machine, not when trying a different type of mask. This policy was never clearly explained upfront. The lack of communication, billing issues, and rigid policies made what should have been a straightforward medical equipment process unnecessarily difficult. Unfortunately, due to these ongoing issues, I will no longer be using this company. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider alternative providers if possible. read more

They gave me the wrong parts for my CPAP machine so when I went for replacements (I had to drive 90 mins) I was received by a woman with temperament issues. I told her I had to get the right ones because I was going on vacation for a few weeks & she started to argue about the sizes of the masks & after telling her that the customer is always right she had a fit so I asked her if she was an educated woman to which she said none of your business & threw the face mask at me & told me to leave the store. She called her manager & she sided with the employee without listening to my requests. She threaten to call the police if I did not leave the store. Unbelievable, unneeded experience. They constantly have their phone forwarded to the Support Center. After leaving a message, never a call back. Support Center does a good job, but there is never any communication from Healthline. I called the Support Center to call Healthline and SC was told, just have him come in. When I asked to speak to the body at Heathline, she was almost angry she actually had to speak to a customer. I could write another paragraph on their billing, needless to say Healthline/Adapt Richardson stinks. read more

Took my new BiPap in for loud noise after about a year. they looked at it and gave me a new one at the time I thought it was new. Medicare paid some 3k for my brand new original biPap, so I expected my replacement to be new. come to find out it was a refurbished? hmm! How did I find out it was not new? Well about a year after getting the refurbished, later it started making a noise and giving bad readings. I took it to my Dr and they saw & pointed out to me that the machine was not assigned to me, fact is it had a different serial # than mine. but it gets worse and more negligent. they "HEALTHLINE had left the SD CARD of the lady that use to own the machine they gave me, in the machine. Which means my daya (hippa violation) was being sent and recorded to resmed! This is unacceptably dangerous medical malfeasance in my opinion. healthline should have protocols in place that would never allow these type mistakes. As well, if a 3k machine goes bad at any point during the 5 year term (Medicare will only replace after 5 years, a machine) they should cover that machine the entire time! HEALTHLINE said that the used machine they gave me is now out of warranty so I would have to pay for repairs myself. Medicare needs to look real hard at those company's who seem to be bilking the seniors and Medicare. (my opinion)! I got my Bipap machine from the Richardson office I think 3 years ago. Didn't have any problems with that initial visit. My problem is with the 800 reorder supplies dept. Last November after I had met my yearly out-of-pocket, I ordered everything that was available to me. They said my cost was $0, which I knew was correct. So after I get my supplies, they debited my checking account for $68.49. Money I couldn't afford at the time! I called billing and they did some weird workaround to cancel the invoice which didn't work. Long story short, it took almost 2 months and multiple calls to get my money back. I also made the billing department remove my credit card info and take me off auto draft! So last month, I called to order one heated hose and ONE nasal cushion (not the whole mask, JUST the cushion) because I was testing a different size. The sales person told me my cost would be $0 which I knew was BS. Three days later I get my pkg, and what I got was the hose and the whole mask frame. Upgraded my order without permission! So I called and told them I wanted to return that and get the one cushion, which the sales person set up. Three days later, I get the pkg and it's 6 cushions! Again they upgraded my order without my permission. I tried the different size which worked better and decided to keep what they sent. That still does not excuse upgrading my order, twice! I think it was about a week later, I get an email that my invoice is ready in the portal. So I check and they are over charging me compared to what the insurance says I owe. A couple days later, I start getting collection calls from Adapt Health, the parent company! And boy are they nasty. I talked to my insurance last Friday and they got the Healthline billing office on the line, who admitted they hadn't even received the final billing from my insurance, and told me to just disregard the incorrect invoice online and the collection calls. So today (Monday), I get another harassment call from Adapt Health. The dude was nasty and was trying to get me to approve a debit on my cc for the higher amount that my insurance says I don't owe. I finally had to hang up on him. I know if I pay that higher amount, it will take months before I get my money back. I'm done with Healthline and Adapt Health. I see my doctor tomorrow and will ask for a different DME supplier that isn't committing fraud. I wonder how many customers are overpaying and never know. read more

For CPAP supplies, my experience was exceptional. The setup turn around was prompt and when I got Covid and needed to reschedule, they were very accommodating. Every time I've needed to speak with someone, I've gotten through on the phone and their wait times are reasonable if there isn't someone available. So far so good. I been needing wheelchair tires since may of 2021 my wheel locks were no longer catching cause the tire was so worn down after a yrs use I emailed the service dept had a tech come out to see well the tech told me the tires were fine and he adjusted the lock adjusting it didn't do anything so after he left the chair was just as bad as it was before I kept consistently moving when the lock is in place so when I go to transfer to either shower bed or to my car I'm consistently hitting the ground so I had to setup a few more appointments for the same tech they kept sending me who says tires were fine so after he left I got tired of it so I had them send me a different tech next time so now it's November 2021 a new tech comes out he looked at it touch the tireS and agreed with me I need new tires I was like finally but I also understood it would take sometimes 12weeks cause of insurance paper work so fast forward to mid or end of January I get in contact with xl them about the tires they told me still waiting on paperwork keep in mind I'm still falling out of my chair and it's taking it's toll on my morale so I wait come end of April I get in contact with them still nothing they also informed the assistance program for me expired so I sent the the exact same paperwork I sent last yr but there's a problem so last night after I fell on my face I fell face first on pavement so I'll let them know exactly how I feel Cris was like only thing they provide is great customer service if it was great customer service why don't you guys care they I'm consistently falling out of my wheelchair and hurting B myself I just finally realized this company don't care about me or my safety cause if they did I wouldn't be sitting there letting me faLl out of my chair while they twiddle there thumbs I'll Leave a picture of the injuries to my face here. My husband is a current customer of the Healthline Richardson, TX office. He is oxygen dependent. With all the storms in the last week, we were without power. We had gone through his back up batteries on his portable concentrator and were using tanks for his oxygen. When we were told that it might be two days before we got power again, we called Healthline and asked if they could bring us some more tanks out. We were informed that they don't have same day oxygen delivery. We said, we understand that if this was just normal use, but this was an unforeseen emergency! Without oxygen, my husband would die! They said it was company policy and wouldn't budge. We were told by them to go to a friends or family's house to use their electricity. We told them all our family/friends were without power as well! They said, well we can't help you today and if you get into trouble call 911. Literally, oxygen is their business!!!! I find this office to be really inefficient in most things. We have called in other orders for supplies and those orders were never placed. If you have an option of which oxygen supply company you use, choose anyone but this one!!! read more

My husband needed home oxygen upon being released from the hospital 09/24/22. We had to prepay for a month in advance via credit card. Our doctor notified the company on 10/20/22 that it wasn't needed anymore and we cancelled the order asking that the tanks be picked up. They picked up all the oxygen tanks (including the one issued by the hospital) on 10/25/22. The next thing we know we get a bill in the mail for October that says it has been put on auto-pay. We called the parent company AdaptHealth to inform them that we owed them nothing and that the oxygen had been already been picked up. We were told they would stop the auto-pay billing. Here we are in April 2023, and it isn't resolved yet, after many phone calls. And, believe it or not, auto-pay was turned back on and we were billed for November, December and January! (At that same time we did receive a refund for October! Hurrah!) As far as the rest is concerned, we keep getting empty promises that our refund is pending; we should be "receiving it soon"! AND when we received the EOB from our insurance company for the month of February, we discovered that they were also billed for the oxygen. If at all possible, we hope to never do business with them again. Avoid them if at all possible. How they haven't been reported for fraud is beyond me!!! The insurance companies and government (medicare!) should be looking into their business practices YESTERDAY!! read more

One star is too high for this company. They called me several days ago with results for my sleep apnea study. I asked if I could call my doctor to confirm and call them back. I've tried calling them for 3 days now and left 4 messages. I then called the billing department and of course they answered immediately. I asked them to transfer me to an actual person and she put me on hold, then I was cut off. This company has HORRIBLE customer service. I haven't ordered my CPAP machine yet. If they don't call me by tomorrow I am calling my doctor and ask for another company who I can order my CPAP from. read more

The oxygen company I was with before healthline bought them out was a great company (I had been with them for 10 years). I never had a problem with the staff or delivery personal. Now that healthline has bought out my former company, I have to say this is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The office staff and supervisors are very rude and disrespectful to the patients. This company cares more about the money then the care of the patient. They lie about supplies and delivery dates. At my original visit my therapist did not have enough of the right size mask so she aid she would ship them. I finally called in May and they said they placed an order for me. It did not come before my vacation so. I called when I returned home because I still had no supplies. I first tried calling the local office, but they don't even answer the phone. It just rang and rang . I called the supply line and they said the order had not been placed. I'm now 2 months behind but they have been billing me every month. They transferred me to another person who still did not understand. I had to explain to her multiple times that I hadn't received the initial supplies as well as the monthly one they promised. Supposedly she placed the order today so we will see if supplies actually show up. read more

If you could give zero stars that wouldn't even be sufficient for this company. They have had my CPAP machine in for repair since 6/29/2021. It is now 11/17/2021 and I still do not have my CPAP. Every time I call the office they have an excuse as to why I do not have a machine in hand. It would be one thing if this machine wasn't life-saving, but it is something that my body relies on to breathe while I sleep. I have now been without this machine for 5 months. Every time I call the local office they tell me I will have the machine in "two weeks" and refuse to make this situation right. There is no phone calls to me to update me on the status. I paid for repairs on July 29th totaling $178. At this point I would consider this transaction fraud. If you are dependent on this company to live, I would go somewhere else. read more

Initial meeting with staff person (GJ) was helpful. We really didn't spend any time trying on CPAP headgear or masks. I was just told to pick on from off the shelf. I chose what I thought looked like good option for me. Once I got it home though, there were definite problems with fit. Included was one size up and one size down of masks. I tried the size up and still wasn't comfortable and kept getting frown faces on the machine for mask seal. additionally, the connection between tubing and headgear doesn't sit completely so there is loud hissing coming from that leak which doesn't help when I'm trying to get to sleep. I'm interested in trying another head piece and mask. When I call the number from website, it keeps going to call center somewhere else. They said the put note in for my location to call me next day for refit. That was on October 18th. Ten days later, I've still not heard from them. I called again today. They show my call and explained the center was having greater than expected call volume. That's ten days to not return a call? In the mean time they've stressed how important it was to make sure I had four hours at least recorded every night. I don't want to miss treatment time, but the mask is very uncomfortable and hindering sleep, rather than helping. read more

I have called numerous times as has the UTSW sleep clinic. People say they will call back and never do. Finally today I called again and they said it would be shipped out. We should receive in 3-5 days. I'm hopeful but not competent. It is very distressing that I will have to depend on these people for supplies but I don't have a choice. I was somewhat apprehensive about starting to use the CPAP machine. When I walked into the office I was greeted by Barbara. She saw that I was uncomfortable. She took the time to explain the procedure that took away some of my anxiety. She introduced me to Kevin which was the technician that was to handle me. He went out of his way to make me feel conformable. He explained the procedure step by step always asking if I had any questions. Needless to say as a 74 year man, there were many. He took his time as he had to go over the procedures with me many times. He had the patience of Job. When I left the office I was well equipped. He gave me phone numbers to call If I had more question or problems. For this I'm thankful. read more

My wife and I came here to pick up a CPAP machine and supplies to go with it, my wife asked them how much would it cost and how much would the insurance company cover. They said it will cost us about $300 and the insurance company will cover the rest, come to find out part of that was only a down payment for the CPAP and i ended up paying the additional was about $550 more,(READ ALL THE FINE PRINT) before you sign!! The CPAP was moderately overpriced, the attachments that go with the CPAP I got from this place was way overpriced. I called my insurance company and complain about the price, and one of the insurance rep. told me that I can get it cheaper from Amazon without insurance rather than from them with insurance, I checked on Amazon and it's actually way cheaper. They told me to replace some of the (overpriced) attachments every month, I searched and searched for the information online about how often it should be replaced and I couldn't find anywhere that says to change it as often as every month. I was referred to this place by the provider that does sleep study, this place is in Richardson Texas just north of Dallas. I live in South Fort Worth near Crowley when they called me to confirm my appointment and they gave me directions from where I live and didn't bother to tell me that they have another branch in Arlington one third of the way to Richardson. And when I call them to ask for information on the equipment, the receptionist answers the question that the qualified tech or respiratory specialist should be answering, and some of the information they gave me were wrong and or inconsistent. And they keep reminding me to replace the (overpriced) attachments. read more

Posted a review about this company a couple of weeks ago and just noticed my review was deleted and so was the previous customer who posted a comment a couple of months ago. I previously commented that this company's customer service wasn't up to par because of cutthroat and lazy employees. My comments are very truthful. The company knows that they are and that's why the comments were deleted. The Mckinney trainer and another employee were laughing at a customer's drivers license while the employee was processing the order. I caught the same trainer sniffing me and asking me what i had for lunch. One day a credible employee noticed that the offices toward the back telephones were ringing, suggesting the telephones were turned off purposely AFTER they hired myself and a few others. I overheard a tenured employee telling a new employee "didn't another trainer teach them how to do something" to get out helping. When the office found out I was being cyberstalked, they repeatedly monitored my cellphone conversations and text messages DAILY. Instead of telling me where they found it so that it could be reported to the police, they took advantage of it and attempted to humiliate. There are no ethics and professionalism in this office. This office spends more time gossiping about other people's personal business than meeting the company's goal. I believe that's why the turnover rate is high. I emailed the company's director to advise of this behavior and she NEVER responded. This company knows I'm telling the truth about the Richardson's location. read more

Pathetic customer service and it only gets worst from there. I was forced to use them when I switched insurance carriers. It took over 15 calls and the involvement my insurance carrier for me to receive my supplies. Took over a month to received my supplies. They lost faxes, lied about receiving information, hung up on me, etc. They have no customer service at all. I'm writing because their robo reorder system called me about 15 times last month to reorder supplies, I shouldn't have, but I did and guess what, they never shipped the supplies. I called (it took four calls and a trip to the post office) because they blamed the FedEx only to have to post office tell me the tracking number I was given does not exist. After the fifth call they finally approved a reshipment. I'll let you know if I ever receive the supplies. I want to find another provider but they have my prescription and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to retrieve it! read more
