Earlier today (Saturday), I personally experienced Chronic Urticaria. I had run out of both the drugs taken to resolve the condition. I arrived at the Pharmacy window at 4:59 pm. There were already multiple people there awaiting service. When it was my turn, I explained to Ivani Dominguez my urgent condition and that I had been in the ER two days before because of it. Not only did Ivani remain after closing to take care of refilling my prescriptions, and did the same for four others. Ivani is a consummate professional who enjoys going above and beyond what is normally expected in taking care of his pharmacy customers. Thank you for the consistently great customer service!

My husband and I shopped here one time. We purchased candies, soda, deodorants, a razor, and more. The prices were high compared to other retailers' prices. The razor was locked up, so I had to ask an employee to get it for me, and she promptly did so. We used the self-checkout, and we experienced no problems with the machine during our scanning and paying. Because of the high prices, I definitely would not recommend shopping here frequently, but the store had what I needed.

The CVS/Walgreens by where I live said they do NOT cut out French passport photos (but can take…read morethem), but I vaguely remember taking passport photos HERE 10 years ago as it is a couple of buildings next to the embassy and back then the embassy directed me here because my initial photos did not meet the criteria. Lady on the phone said "yes as long as you come in before 9:30am". I asked again to verify, she gave me the same answer. I arrive before 9:30 the next day, and the lady at the photo area said they do NOT cut the photos. This lady at least did not seem visibly irritated when I did not move forward with taking photos and found a different place that did cut them. ULTIMATELY, if you are reading reviews for the same reason I was-- as of August 2025 the French embassy HAS A CUTTER AND ACCEPTS WHITE BACKGROUNDS! 1 star based on THIS experience. I was better off not getting my call answered so I would have skipped going here in the first place. So do go and get your passport photos taken here for $17.99 for 2 photos OR! To save some $$ instead, Create your own passport photos using those photo-adjuster-to-passport-size websites, get on the CVS website to upload then print to 4x6 size, USE A COUPON, pick it up, then VERIFY THAT THE SIZE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS (in my case, the face needs to measure a certain amount within the photo). The French passport photo size would have made 8 photos in that 1 4x6 print and cost .25 pre-tax with the coupon. I get this is a city convenience store but there were homeless outside and it was a place I just needed to Uber to to get a prescription. Not a place I'd want to go back to, but at the same time not unsafe. Pharmacy staff wouldn't talk to me and just made me put in a phone number and then handed me my bag. Was glad to just be in and out, but again it is doing what it's supposed to do and serving the community.

Both times we visited, the store was pretty crowded and the checkout line got long.

Unfortunately, I did not have my insurance card on me and the pharmacist was nice enough to call where I was transferring my script from to get the information. While he worked on running my insurance I discovered he's hilarious lol. So he tells me they don't carry my particular birth control pill that I was formerly using but recommended another, and here's how the rest went down.... Me: "Is there any difference I should be aware of?" Him: "Well... Everyone who has been on it comes back pregnant." Me: Lolol Him: "Okay, you're all set! It will be ready on Monday." (I'm supposed to pick it up that same day.) Me: "But I'll be pregnant for sure by then!" Him: "That a girl!" Never thought picking up my anti-baby pill could be this much fun. To top it all off he was kind enough to order my pills three months in advance. Dr. Bahman is my hero, and an awesome pharmacist indeed. Pharmacy is open from 8 am - 6 pm during the week. And 10 am - 2 pm on Saturdays.

I messaged them through their social media, received a fair quote given market conditions and had sanitizer, vitamins, and bulk (1 gallon) rubbing alcohol. I mostly dealt with Suail, and she was helpful in sourcing the products and ensuring everything was delivered. She also mentioned that they do compounding and "regular" prescriptions for both people and pets. Most importantly, they're a Local business.

I live down the block and, unfortunately, my insurance no longer works with CVS, so I'm forced to come here a lot. I've never seen such an inefficient and understaffed pharmacy. If I have to pick up a prescription, I allocate at least 30 minutes. I have literally wasted days of my time over the past two years waiting just to pick up medication. I let her know I was looking to transfer my prescription to this location and she said my medication was out of stock but that she would reorder it and have it ready in 2 days. I just got back from this cvs and I was told "there is nothing ready for you here and we don't even have that medication in stock." Again, the very reason I transferred to a different cvs is now the absolute reason I will no longer be getting my medication sent to CVS. I told the pharmacy tech specifically that I was low on medication and she told me not to worry about. The lack of competence and care really shows.
