I've tried chiropractic treatment a few times, all ending in disappointment. I gave up on it. However, I developed TMJD and was having incredible pain from it. The dentist said to try a chiropractor to adjust your jaw. The pain was so bad I thought I'd try it again just to see if it might help. I made an appointment with Dr. Zullo.​ We met in a private office, I told him what I had going on, he assessed my spine, neck and jaw by doing some tests. He explained things that were going on with me and how he thinks he could help. I said let's go, I'll try anything. Amazing is the word I choose to sum up my experience here with the staff and Dr. Schone. I was 7-8 months pregnant and had terrible back pain. I had trouble sitting from a standing position (which made sitting on the floor to play with the 2 year old nearly impossible). When I was able to sit down, there were times it took over 30 minutes before I was able to stand back up. The pain was very bad and there were times that I felt like my legs would give out under me (very bad when you are pregnant or walking up stairs carrying a kid). I talked to my OB doctor about the pain, and was told to take warm baths and take Tylenol. Tylenol didn't even come close to relieving the pain and baths wouldn't work, because I couldn't sit down and when I could, I needed help getting out! I asked some of my other pregnant friends, and they said that they went to a chiropractor and it helped tremendously. I called Healthfirst on a day that they were closed. Dr. Schone was the one who called me back that SAME day. I couldn't believe it. The next day, one of the front desk ladies (who are BEYOND nice and friendly) called and got me in that day for an evaluation. I was scheduled to come in 2-3 times a week for the first couple of weeks. I will admit, that I didn't notice much of a difference at first. But after the second week of adjustments, I found that I wasn't in as much pain. The pain went away more and more with each session. As I felt better, I didn't need to go in as often. I have since had my baby and the back pain has subsided. If I have any other issues, I will be sure to schedule an appointment to go back. I had such a great experience with Dr. Schone, that I had my husband start going there for his neck pain. I assume that it is helping him because he doesn't complain nearly as much about it anymore! I would definitely recommend anyone I know (pregnant or not) to Dr. Schone. read more

On my first visit they took X-rays and did some roller thing down my back to detect hot spots or some crap. It showed exactly the same things I told them were wrong. They put me on the traction table and electro-stim every session. One time I told the assistant I didn't want to do it and she said they would have to ask the Dr. if it was ok because it helps me get a better adjustment. BUT as soon as my insurance changed and only covered 1 per session (table OR stim, not both) they had no problem only doing one. When I got back to the doctor, he adjusted the same three places every time and sent me on my way. I had complaints about specific areas occasionally, but it didn't seem to matter, it was always the same. They also charged $38/visit AFTER insurance! read more

Massive waste of money. These guys are what you call "crackheads". They take hundreds of dollars and give you a 2 minute crack session and send you on your way. If your issues are muscular then they will try to tell you that it isn't so that you will keep coming back to get "aligned". Their marketing makes it seem like they specialize in overall back care. However, like I said, they only want to take your money and crack on you. Which actually left my back in worse shape. If you hurt your back working out like I did then DO NOT GO HERE! Extreme waste of money. Go see someone who actually looks at the entirety of the back. Not someone looking for a crack fix. read more

Great people, and they do good work. The problem I find is that if you cant make it in for a month, you always have to have an examination again in order to be seen. It's so time consuming that I've gone somewhere else that doesn't require an exam every time I go. read more

Visited Dr. Ryan a couple of weeks ago. I was having neck pain for months. After my second visit I could see the ceiling and look over my shoulder which I couldn't do for quite awhile. Don't waste your money or time. They have no clue what they are doing. Please don't waste your money like I did. They didn't even acknowledge the problems I told them I was having. They just immediately started working on other parts of my body like I was in a factory where they do the same exact treatment on every person. Dr. Schone does a great job. I've been seeing them for whiplash after a car accident. My neck has been feeling progressively better throughout the weeks. I was skeptical going here after reading the previous review. I was recommended to go here by a family member so I decided to go anyways. I am not sure what the other review was talking about because I was treated phenomenally. The location has the feel of a spa; not what I was expecting from a doctor's office. They made a care plan specifically for my condition and was very thorough with what they would need to to get me feeling better. Besides being sweet kind and polite, I also feel much better.
