Then I saw the reviews for Dr. Belnap on Yelp & lo and behold he was able to fit me in the week I returned . After looking at x rays of my shoulder and back from years ago & examining me he sent me to get an MRI . I was relieved it was an MRI and not a CAT scan as they have been shown to increase your chances of getting cancer. The MRI place he recommended was able to get me in for the next week.. my co-pay was under $100 for my back and my shoulder . Soon after this I saw Dr. Belnap again & he gave me a cortisone injection in my shoulder and some medication which helped greatly . A few months later the same in my back ! Last year I somehow hurt my back so badly I could barely walk. Once again, he was able to fit me in quickly and gave me an injection, which helped somewhat. However, it was Christmas holidays and I was going away for a special celebration and my back couldn't handle it. He was able to fit me in during the holiday season quickly, gave me an epidural and I was able to go and be fine. he's very caring and and we'll do whatever he can to help.

I then phoned back the hospital to say I had the wrong number, they called the number they had originally given to me and verified it was correct so I called back. I got the same person and started in again pretending she had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her why was she doing that. She wouldn't answer. I explained that the doctor's office gave me their number and confirmed with her that they do ketamine and asked for her name because she was so shady. She would not give it to me and hung up on me. I called back several times, asking her to speak to someone in charge, and asking for her name, and why she's behaving in an unprofessional manner. She would not budge and kept hanging up on me. I was hoping to get another person to answer the phone, but it was her each time. Finally, she gave me her name "Alex" which I don't believe is true. I then called back the hospital and told them not to refer anybody to them because of her unprofessionalism. Shocking behavior from someone administering psychiatric medication. The hospital has been notified of her treatment.

She was diagnosed with bipolar years prior and we wanted to make sure she got proper treatment. I never met him cause she was an adult when she went to him and she was too busy to research doctors at that time she was still in school and working. She liked him at first then was indifferent to him and just had to go to get her necessary psyche meds that they held hostage until we spent $160-180 every telemed five minute meeting for. She had complained about their policies a few times and I urged her to look to other doctors bc I wasn't sure she had the right meds based in what I saw in her moods and he didn't seem to listen to her. Weeks ago I reached out twice to him because I saw an escalation in her behavior and moods. I know they can't discuss her with me but even a simple reply that they heard me would've been helpful. We were scared for her but she was an adult so we had little control. She did escalate badly and we went down to help her after several serious red flags and she was eventually hospitalized after bringing her in to be evaluated at the ER. When she needed him most after her psyche ward hospitalization after another manic episode and psychosis which led to the ER doctors keeping her on involuntary hold, he seemed to mock us for it and doubt her bipolar Diagnosis (didn't even get the clinical notes yet from her hospitalization and wasn't interested in what us parents experienced) After going through hell with our daughter she wanted us to join her telemed appt because she knew she was sick and knew we needed to talk to Dr H but all he did was interrupt us, second guess us, tell her to cut off communication with us and now she hasn't spoken to us in five days because she is still recovering from a huge ordeal and vulnerable and she was ready to get aftercare treatment until she spoke with him and convinced her to basically break up with her parents who he doesn't know AT ALL! He has no clue what we've gone through with our daughter. She's really good at manipulating things when she's well. He had a job- to diagnose and give meds and he added another job, interfere and turn our vulnerable daughter against us, the only ones who have truly had her best interest at heart! Saying we were bad for her mental health. Well no, her substances and denial and enabling friends and this doctor are bad for her mental health. We were just trying to desperately save our daughter who went through Another really bad mental breakdown and this Dr crossed a line and set her back

This review is based purely off of results. I had stopped squatting in the gym because of constant…read moreknee pain from an old football injury. I saw an ad for SoftWave and its ability to provide pain relief to pain point areas on the body. I decided to try it out on my knee, and it was the best decision I could have made. I'm pretty sure after one treatment I had enough pain relief in my knee to start squatting with considerable weight on the bar. This technology doesn't numb or mask the pain; it actually begins to repair and heal the area from the stem cells it causes the body to produce from the acoustic sound waves applied to the area. My goal is to ultimately have the area completely healed and transformed.

I originally purchased a package that included 12 chiropractic visits and 4 SoftWave treatments…read more Because SoftWave treatments are expensive, I chose not to buy a larger package upfront and later purchased 4 additional treatments separately. When I called to purchase my final 4 SoftWave treatments, I was told the pricing structure had changed and they would not honor the previous pricing. Even more frustrating, I was informed that I could not use my remaining chiropractic visits because they were required to be used together with the original package. This was never explained to me when I made the purchase, and I wasn't informed of it until I tried to schedule. Unfortunately, the office always felt disorganized. While there was a young man at the front desk who was consistently friendly and professional, my interactions with the billing department were often unpleasant and unwelcoming. I have good insurance coverage for chiropractic care, so I requested superbills for both my chiropractic and SoftWave treatments to submit and see if either might be covered. The office provided these without issue each time I asked. In the end, SoftWave wasn't covered, but it was worth trying. Fast forward a year: I called to inquire about their current SoftWave pricing packages and was shocked when I was told there was a note in my file stating that they would no longer treat me because I had submitted the bills to my insurance company, which they claimed was against their policy. This was the first time I had ever heard of such a policy. I was honestly stunned. First, I was denied the ability to use services I had already paid for, and now I'm being refused treatment altogether. After spending thousands of dollars at this clinic, that was incredibly disappointing. The one positive thing I can say is that SoftWave itself was fantastic and genuinely helped my body. Fortunately, there are many other providers offering SoftWave treatments in the area. My recommendation: try SoftWave, but get it somewhere else.

It's been almost a year now since my Ketamine series with Dr. Botkiss and his staff. Wow did…read moreketamine really help boost me out of a dark place! I had struggled with on and off treatment resistant anxiety and depression for 8 years. This last year the depression got so bad I was looking for something new to help! I had been working with therapists and psychiatrists for years trying new medications and treatment modalities. I stumbled across ketamine treatment and asked my psychiatrist about it and she said I should give it a try. And I'm SO GLAD I did!! I was so nervous to begin ketamine treatment. It felt like a final resort to my depression and that I had exhausted all options. It is an expensive thing to try as well but I promise it is worth it!! It also felt like ketamine is such a taboo topic that it kept me from trying it. I wished I had had people to talk to or reviews to read so I could feel more comfortable. Ketamine was exactly what I needed to get a new perspective on life. My perfectionistic tendencies had started to rule my life and take me away from true happiness. I had driven myself so deep in a depression hole, I was having suicidal ideations and had no clue had to get my passion for life back. Between weekly therapy sessions and the addition of ketamine sessions I got my soul and spirit back again!! After my FIRST session of ketamine my dad picked me up and immediately noticed a change in my behavior. I was happy and had energy and wanted to go out to dinner right then. For months I could barely leave the house. The fact I wanted to go out to dinner and was smiling was shocking!! I felt the effects of the ketamine immediately. It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. With each treatment I felt more free. I felt less shame. Depression can really fool you. My ketamine sessions were so inspiring and positive! I would re think my childhood trauma, I would dream about a beautiful future, I would create grace and understanding for my flaws during these sessions. Ultimately I became less hard on myself. I feel ketamine gave me a new perspective on life and helped me find my purpose again. I was always chasing huge goals and waiting for happiness to come. Ketamine brought me back to the present. It is so hard to explain! But I hope my experience can help someone else. I was 26 years old during ketamine treatment and felt like my twenties had been ruined by my depression. Finally I feel like I have my life back and I feel I have a place I can go again for treatment if things get hard. I am so thankful for Dr.Botkiss and his staff! This treatment is amazing! I highly recommend it as something to augment weekly therapy and medication from your psychiatrist. You need to put the work in but Ketamine will give you that extra push out of the dark place. update 2025: currently in my second year of Physician Assistant School and Class President. Conquering my dreams again and handling the stress without big episodes of depression. Ketamine sessions a few times a year with Dr.Botkiss and his nurses have helped me maintain my mental health.

I had just come from a weekend away in Palm Springs, where I had planned to relax, run, and engage in as much fitness as possible. I headed out for a run on New Years Day; new shoes, new lululemon pants, new Garmin watch, and after about 20 min. my outer knee was in so much pain I had to basically walk the rest of the way home. I was devastated and confused. Not only had I run for about an hour for 2 days in a row prior, I have been an avid runner since High School. Even with icing my knee for about 3 days straight, nothing was helping and I knew I had done something more serious. My history of running - I have run a total of around 4 or 5 half marathons easily, no knee pain since 2012. Completed many 10K's and casual runs on my own at least twice a week for years. It was something that happened so out of the blue, I am just thankful that Alex entered my life when he did. He started out with the basics, which at the time seemed a little out of context. "What other workouts do you do? What has changed in your exercise in the last year". I couldn't really come up with much, other than lots of YOGA. Becoming a certified Yoga teacher and basically doing yoga everyday for the past year only seemed like it was helping my running. Of course. Alex saw this as a red flag right away. With the types of exercises that I was engaging in on a weekly basis, I was only extending ligaments and asking parts of my body (my knee) to over compensate. This then effected my IT band, more weight in my calfs, soreness, you name it. It's a vicious cycle. After about 5 sessions with Alex - he not only identified the root cause of my pain, but trained me to run in a different pattern so I could alleviate the pain, without having to give up what I love. We took everything in phases, added in weights, combined static movements with real time workouts and in no time, I was back. To this day pain or not, I have shifted the way I run bc he has taught to me always look ahead. Alex sees prevention of injury like no one else I have ever met. I am not a very optimistic person when it comes to my body, bc I am very in tune with how it wants operate, or not operate for that matter. I was completely in awe when I made it through my first 30 min. From January 25th, when I tried to run a 5K and made it 5 min, to about mid February, I was running about 25-30 min. and now, I can run over an hour with no knee pain. Alex sees things and connections that no one else I have ever see does. I went to 2 different knee specialists who were runners themselves and left with very little optimism, and zero improvement. Alex has a holistic approach to the body that cannot necessarily be taught. It's in his intuitive nature and he sees the way in which body connects. This knowledge that he has is why he can not only guide people to overcome their injuries, but can advise on how to avoid degenerative tendencies that come with age, overuse, and in my opinion... a passion for your sport. I couldn't be more thankful for his knowledge, expertise and precision when it comes to the human body and protecting it for the rest of the active I life I have. Thanks Alex! :)
