Yeah. Not super happy with the customer service I received after calling in about a tray I bought. I didn't realize until I got home that the tray was very bent. When I called the store everyone seemed annoyed and pissed off that I even called. I wasn't offered a replacement or a refund after asking. They basically said "that was a display tray". I love this store and shop here often but if there isn't any customer service I will have to take my business elsewhere. I understand the staff is essentially young guys but you need to explain to them the importance of repeat customers. read more

Terrible service. I purchased a product somewhat hastily (my fault) and later that night realized that it was clearly snake oil. I called the next day to ask about a return, and the guy simply told me that the receipt says "all sales are final." Umm okay, fine. I politely asked if I could get a store credit instead, to which he responded "We can't take the product back for 'safety' reasons." This was obviously B.S. because I never even said what the product was! I told him there was not a legitimate safety concern (sealed, unopened container), and then he hung up on me! By far the best smoke shop I've been to in Broad Ripple. They had a nice selection of CBD cartridges, which is what I was looking for. But they also had a wide array of other things. Damon was super helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions with ease. I love this place. Everyone on staff is awesome and knows what they're talking about. I come in here all the time, so most of them know me and ask me how I'm doing. They've got a great selection of shisha. If you're on a budget, they have the cheaper stuff or they've got some really great stuff that lasts a long time. I'm really picky with what I smoke and they all do their best to help suggest something. They've all found out that I'm picky and they know what I like and don't like. First off, Head Lines Smokes always has everything I need. I go there all the time for hookah supplies and shisha, and I can get everything in one stop; which is pretty rare for about every other head shop in the area. They know what they're selling and they're very educated about what they sell. As far as hookah goes, this is also really rare for a head shop, so major props there! Also, the staff are all really friendly, energetic and it comes across that they really love being at Head Lines Smokes, so every time you go in you can expect a really great and welcoming environment. Another note about staff - they're honest. So if a product you're interested in isn't really a good fit for your needs, they'll be open and tell you, and then can recommend something else. I've had terrible experience with this at a few other head shops, so it's MUCH appreciated. Definitely would recommend, I've been going there for years for many reasons. read more

Came here this summer in July and bought a 400$ dollar water pipe. Soon after taking it home & filling with water it did not hit as it should and was very restricted while hitting. Had my roommate test and confirm. Took it back for an exchange which they honored. I appreciated that. However they also tested in front of me and repeatedly said it hit fine which clearly it did not unless you like headaches. A 400$dollar, 2ft tall pipe shouldn't hit like a one hitter. So after the exchange I received a 100$ gift card with my remaining balance.Came in this week to use that. Bought some titanium concentrate rigs & titanium nails. After (4) days they were both chipping metal flakes, heating up patchy/uneven. They were clearly only titanium coated or super low grade products. Owner did not know the quality level wether grade 1-5 though it's his store & personally orders the products he carries. Repeatedly said you get what you pay for like I was some cheapskate when that was the only product your employees suggested, offered, and or carried. So that didn't make sense at all. Continued to try & sell me different products when my 100$ products were defective. Brought them into the store & left them there for the trash can. Been coming here over 15 years and I'll never be coming back. Cheap products are clearly the issue here. Offered no resolution or replacement for 100$ in defective products. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

I love this store! The customer service is outstanding. And I'm sooooo glad that I don't have to bite my tongue and deal with all the ridiculous crap I have to deal with when shopping at The Magic Bus. At Head Lines I DON'T have 10 people watching me like a hawk from the time I enter the door as if I'm some kind of thief I DON'T have to deal with employees that are rude and IMO borderline mental. and I DON'T walk out the door feeling violated because I had to go someplace I truly hate simply because they're the only ballgame in town. From the first moment I walked into Head Lines I felt welcomed. I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed assistance finding anything. Any questions I had were answered expertly. The selection and scope of the products they sell is impressive and they always have something on special or closeout. I bought a stainless steel grinder that was marked down over 50% that I have been most happy with. And the best part is I NEVER, EVER, have to deal with The Magic Bus again!
