Terrible experience with this smoke shop. I called and verified if they had a product I was interested in, and I was told they had the product and they will see me when I make it. I stopped by here with a friend this afternoon and was helped by two gentlemen, whose names I unfortunately didn't get. As mentioned in other reviews, my friend and I were carded shortly after walking up to the counter, but I certainly didn't find that to be rude (it was our first time there, but I usually expect to be carded). Both gentlemen were friendly and knowledgeable throughout our interaction, and took the time to answer my questions and help me find exactly what I was looking for. The prices are great and I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase thus far! The store is bigger than it looks and they seem to have a wide range of products. The absolute BEST smoke shop in the city. Knowledge staff, amazing selection, and good prices. The store is MUCH larger than it seems from the outside (it's like a TARDIS). They have a TON of work by local artists, and sometimes you can even catch the artist at the shop! There are plenty of people to help you find what you need! Note: Review is for the mural on the outside of the building One of the keys to having a successful business is getting people/customers to notice you are in business. What better way than to put a bright and colorful mural on the side of your building which is clearly visible from a main thoroughfare like Keystone Avenue? In 2016, the business owners commissioned the FAB Crew (Fantastic Aerosol Brothers) to create a full sized mural for their location. Done in deep colors of purples, oranges, and greens, the mural has a huge face with lots of swirling shapes and highlights that seem to have an electric quality to their appearance. I'm not very good at determining if the shapes are meant to be letters and spell out words, I guess I spent too many years being a dull accountant to be able to pick the letters out correctly, but if I had to guess, I would say that the symbols spell out "smoke" and "vape" based on the nature of the business. This is one of our favorite shops. We try to check out all the new ones, and this guy is close to our house. The coolest thing about smoke ships is that they offer a variety of things. I am not a smoker so I enjoy their other merchandise. I've purchased a tapestry from location, incense, and a t-shirt. Today we travel for incense. Bean is looking for flavoured tobacco wraps. She says they add more flavour to the tobacco, I just think she wants to look cool. I'm excited to see which she chooses. Last time it was banana and maple wraps. Aside from this location being close to our home, they have a huge selection that would satisfy any smokers need. If you're a non smoker like myself, their clothing, incense, and tapestry's are cool to look at. read more

High praises for when we have been helped in the past by Kelso, we really enjoy talking with them felt like they genuinely cared when we had conversations whilst browsing but unfortunately today was not that great. We've always felt welcome but the person who helped us today made us feel rushed and like we didn't have the liberty to look around. he asked us for id and said he couldn't let us in without them which we have not been asked since our first visit a few months ago and frequent here at least once every 2 weeks. The next group that came in was not asked. We have visible tattoos on top of the fact that we're frequent customers we were taken aback with the delivery of this. Definitely felt like there could have been a more friendly way to approach the situation. As someone who has worked customer service for almost a decade it really comes down to connecting with people and that did not happen. He was wearing a tiedye shirt today, roundish glasses and was tall and blondeish ginger hair. We'll come back but will definitely be vocal about wanting someone else to help us. read more

I have insomnia, but not the regular "cant fall asleep" kind. I suffer from maintenance insomnia, where I will fall asleep just fine but then only sleep a couple hours at the most and wake up then not be able to get back to sleep. I'd always heard commercials for 20 Past 4 but had never been to one. When I was reading online about fixes for insomnia, CBD repeatedly came up. Knowing that CBD is now legal in Indiana (finally) I researched CBD retailers and they were the first listing to come up. Seeing as how they weren't far from where I was staying, I decided to stop in and ask questions. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly and actually listened when I explained what I'm dealing with, and he recommended multiple things that would help, based on what others have purchase for the same reasons. Being completely new to CBD, I didn't know up from down, and while the stuff was a bit pricey, I bought an affordable option to "get started" with. It was just a five dose pack of edibles, but they worked. I ate the last one before bed last night and I've slept well each night that I've been taking them. I still wake up in the middle of the night, but I'm able to actually fall back asleep. I can't believe how much better I feel just from a few days of CBD. I don't live in Indy, but now that I know the stuff works I am seeking it out around where I live so that I can continue to have good nights of sleep. I'm very grateful to 20 Past 4 right now, for taking the time to listen to a new customer and offer recommendations as to what could help them the most. A lot of places just want your money and for you to get out, but the guy that helped me cared, and it showed. I frequent this location for the assortment of incense. I come about once a month the have they several different scents and Nag Champa which is a harder one to find. The customer service is always great and the store stays clean. The have all your smoke needs and plus more. Incense start at .18 but the more you get the less they are. read more

For starters the staff actually greets you with smiles!!! Not attitude or complete distaste for your mere presence, but actual smiles :) Talk about a wonderful way to start your experience! They are as nice as they are helpful. At no point in time do you feel like you have someone breathing down your neck or trying to stare you down worried about you stealing from them. (Is it just me, you have some of you also experienced this with other smoke shops? Weird isn't it?) Management should hire staff that doesn't have the 'they're cooler than you because I work at the stoner store' attitude. 4 people standing in a circle behind the counter when I walked in. No other customers in the store and I stood at the counter for several minutes waiting for one of them to acknowledge me. And if I happen to still be in my suit on my way home from work I dont expect to be treated like a narc just because I don't wear ratty concert tshirts and neon colored nail polish.
