Fast and efficient. Not a lot of bedside manner but she responded quickly and got the job done the next morning.

Gaby is amazing, knowledgeable & professional! I would highly recommend! She came to my home same day and treated myself and my daughter. She was through and took care of our lice problem. There is no way I could have combed as throughly on myself. She gave lots of tips on how to keep the lice away and how to treat your home to ensure the little buggers are completely gone! Thank you Gaby for being our lifesaver!!! read more

I want to NOT know enough to be able to write this review, but like so many families out there, we got hit with lice. It's gross and after we went to a far-away recommended salon and spent $$$$$$$$$ and it CAME BACK. I wanted to cry. At that point, a friend recommended Head Lice Patrol. Their team that comes to your house to handle it so you don't have to lose your mind. Easy and quick, which is honestly what families with little kids who've just been hit with lice really need. And - get this- they cost the same, maybe even less! They responded promptly, were at my house a few hours later, and we were done that same night. No fanfare, no upselling. I have recommended them nonstop since. Highly recommended! read more

We had our very first lice case and I am so thankful for gabby and the great service she provided! She was able to come to my house same day, she educated us, she was friendly and assuring, and she was professional. If this were to happen again I'll absolutely call Head Lice Patrol. read more

I discovered that my daughter had lice on a Sunday. I texted Gaby and she came to treat her and head check our family the same day! She brought so much comfort to me and my family! She saved the day! She is so kind, knowledgeable, and helped our family in a very stressful time! She gave me great advice on how to treat my home and keep the lice from reoccurring. I love that she includes a follow up appointment to make sure everything is clear and ok. It brought me so much peace of mind! She is very fairly priced too. I can't thank you enough Lice Patrol!!! read more

I was looking for a local Carlsbad professional and was able to get a same day appointment with Gaby. She did a thorough job and came back for a follow up two days later. I so appreciate her professionalism and help with this difficult problem. read more

Highly recommended if you want peace of mind. I had been experiencing itchiness in my scalp and it was keeping me up at night. I even set up a dermatology appointment thinking I was having a skin problem. While I was working, I pulled out an insect from my hair. And I thought, 'That's strange.' Then the next day, a bug fell out of my hair and onto my paper that I was working above and it looked just like the other bug. What?! I had my husband check out my head and he said yes he saw other bugs. I ran to the Walgreens and immediately bought a complete delousing kit but then when I read the instructions I thought I can't do this to myself. I was panic stricken. How could I get lice???!! Eww and they're crawling all over me. I yelped and found Gabby through Head Lice Patrol. I texted her the next day and she came to my house. She checked out me and my kids. She found dozens of adult bugs and eggs in my hair. Then she checked my daughter-- she had MORE THAN ME! I was shocked. She cleared every adult bug, and egg out from me, my daughter and my son. Although it wasn't inexpensive it was worth it. The work is meticulous and methodical and requires that every strand of hair, 1/2 cm by 1/2 cm be combed through especially in the nape area behind the neck where a lot were living. Physicially, I wouldn't be able to reach around and behind my head and have the confidence that I got everything. As for my kids, I was glad to hand over the responsibility and hard work to an expert. Gaby has a warm personality and treated me with kindness and respect. Not once did I ever feel guilty, self-conscious or dirty about being "infested". She handled it like a pro and I feel blessed that we found the right person in my first attempt and she was able to rid us of this situation. read more

Gabby was thorough and professional, came to our home to treat my daughter and I for lice. Good advice on avoidance techniques as well.

Liz is THE BOMB! Came over the holiday weekend and is so great about educating us on treatment and prevention. She did not try to sell us any extra products but we did buy the clarifying shampoo for maintenance and prevention. Lice is never fun but if you find it just know Liz will take care of it and also be a pleasure to work with. read more

SAVED MY VDAY My students came into my office telling me they had lice. After a few days of freaking out, and two nightmares about having lice, I finally asked my students who their lice lady was. One of my students recommended Liz at Head Lice Patrol. My student said she had been to a few lice ladies and Liz was the absolute best. My student was not wrong. Liz used her expertise to tell me exactly how she was going to check me and answered all of my questions. She is super knowledgeable and educates you on lice while she is getting those little critters out. Lice is not the easiest situation to deal with, but Liz is a master and her kind heart was the cherry on top. If you are in the San Diego area and catch yourself overly itchy Head Lice Patrol is the answer to your itch! read more

Liz is a life saver! She is knowledgeable, accommodating and I found her pricing to be reasonable. She helped us the same day, eradicated the problem the same day! She comes to your home and inspects everyone and treats on the spot. She uses organic, non chemical products and provides products and advice. My sons school was inundated with infestation after infestation. We used her prevention advice and product and avoided future incidences even though my sons class had case after case. We live in a nice area and lice can happen any where. It seemed to hit right after vacation breaks. I would definitely use her again, hopefully I'll never need to!!! I would recommend her percent to anyone. read more

Unfortunately my son caught lice somehow, and I didn't find out for weeks. I treated him once with Rid. I did not realize you have to treat again 7-10 days later! Either way thats around $50-60 for 1 person! When I noticed they were not only not gone but that now I had them, I called for professional help. I called Head Lice Patrol and Liz got back to me within a few hours and got someone out here the next day! I really couldn't beleive how fast they were able to come help us. Nicole came out and explained everything while cleaning my sons head, and mine. I cleaned like she said and she came back 2 days later to make sure they were all gone, and they were. It's not cheap but its not much more than multiple boxes of Rid and having someone profesional do it was totally worth it! I would totally recomend this company. They know their stuff and they'll help you get rid of the lice. read more

We were frantic! This has been going on for many months, and it came up again tonight! My girl was distraught, totally done, and I wanted to make sure things were taken care of. Liz was amazing. She was here within hours, and she works incredibly fast. Her prices are way more reasonable than others we have used. I hope we don't need her again, but if we do she is our one and only. She has a reputation in north county and is the go-to person for many of the schools and families around here. Incredibly proficient and professional, and definitely a person who is a pleasure to have come visit! read more

Liz is amazing! When our poor foster kids came to us with head lice she came on the spot and was so good with the 2.5 year old! So much easier than me having to do it and it's guaranteed cause she comes back and checks. Well worth the cost! read more

Definitely recommend. I had the worst battle with this lice experience. I have never had to deal with it before so didn't really know what I was doing. I originally called another place because this place couldn't come out the same day and I was grossed out. Wanted it taken care of right then... well I was charged n arm and a leg with the other place...and we were STILL infested. for days I combed and combed out hair. Picked and picked. And just kept getting worse. The other place came back and treated again. Still no luck. So I called head lice patrol. Alex came out and treated all of us, me and my 3 girls. Yes, it took about 5 hours. Was a little much for me to pay but Liz worked with me. And we are FINALLY lice free ! Even after I had Alex come back out about 3 times to keep checking to make sure we were clear. Moral of the story.... I should have gone with this place to begin with. This battle would have ended sooner nd I would not have been out so much money (from the wasted expenses of the other place that didn't get the job done ). Thanks Alex and Liz !!! read more

Woohoo! This is as good as it gets! Liz Cook and her team saved us from our infestation of lice. I tried for two days to wash, comb and pick out the bugs and eggs and then I surrendered. Thank goodness I called Head Lice Patrol. Liz and her assistant arrived with in 2 hours. They had everything they needed to rid us of the lice. It cost some money....but the peace of mind is absolutely priceless. read more

My daughter got lice and it was BAD. Really really bad to the point where over the counter products just weren't working anymore for us. I just want to say thank you to Nicole for coming over and explaining to me in detail how everything works and how to keep my apartment lice free. Not only was she so friendly and sweet, but Nicole, every check up, did an extremely thorough job. This company is not a rip off. The money is totally worth it. My baby is so happy she's not scratching 24/7 and she can play with her friends worry free. read more

I called Head Lice Patrol with a severe anxiety attack one day when I realized our problem was just going to be too big for me to handle. I am so grateful that Carolina came out to my house yesterday. This was our first experience with lice. One of my sons and I had it. I had done thorough checks on him AND shaved his head, but even after 3 treatments, I kept finding a few nits and bugs. An although I had treated myself and done comb throughs on myself, I did not have the confidence that I was clear. And after all my hard work cleaning vacuuming and washing, they would come back, just because of the ones in my hair! So I called and Carolina came out to my house within 2 hours. She combed me and DID find more. And a few on my son. It was the best call I could have made...I can breathe easy now! We are not out of the woods, but now I know how to get us there!!! read more

Liz was referred to me. She responded within 15 minutes of my text to her and came out the very next day. She took care of 2 girls with long hair and checked the rest of the family (3 more of us) all in under 2 hours. She took such good care of my kids removing every last egg in their hair. It was such a great experience consider how disgusting it is. I can't recommend Liz enough. the price was very fair and in line with all of the others I called. Liz has been doing this for 16 years and gives great advice on how to make sure the lice does not return. She also comes back to the home within a couple of days at a lower flat fee, to make sure no additional eggs have appeared or hatched. I cannot recommend Liz enough. She is worth every cent!!!! read more

No one ever wants to get lice, but for me working with children it was bound to happen sometime. However, Liz was amazing! She contact me shortly after I contacted her. Then she set me up with an appointment with in the next hour. There was no in her company who was out In my area to come to my home immediately which I wanted. So she invited my to her station at her home. I felt so comfortable and taken care of by Liz. She answered all my questions good and some stupid ones. She taught me about many myths and truths about lice. I was so thankful for the honesty. After spending an hour and a half (which flew by because we were chatting) with her, when all the treatments were finished I paid a reasonable price and was so happy with the service and care! My husband discovered lice on my eldest daughter's head late in the afternoon on Easter Sunday. We were upset at the discovery but, having used Head Lice Patrol two years prior, felt confident in owner Liz's ability to eliminate them quickly. We called Head Lice Patrol and left a voicemail around 7 pm. While we were at dinner both Liz and her employee called us back and left messages. They were ready to come over that night but we didn't receive their voicemails until late in the evening. At 9 am the next morning we called back and Liz was at our house to examine our two girls 6 and 4, my husband and myself by 11 am. Liz worked quickly, effectively and kept us appraised of what she combed out on each person. Her knowledge of lice was shared during the treatment as well as effective measures to clean common areas where people place their heads (car seats, couch, towels, etc). While no one WANTS lice my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Head Lice Patrol to effectively treat this issue if and when it pops up in your home. read more

Looooove this company. I am a total hypochondriac about lice. I got a call from a friend informing me that her daughter (whom my daughter plays with and had been to her house the day before) had lice. Then I found out that a group of kids my daughter played with the day before had gone home from school with lice. I called Head Lice Patrol and within 3 hours there was someone (Bree) at my house to do a lice check on my daughter and me, my husband is bald and my son has an almost shaved head so I figured I could check him on my own. My daughter and I have very thick, curly hair (think Diana Ross). I was expecting it to take hours to get through our hair with the little combs and I expected tears. There were only a couple of "ouch!" moments and they came from me, not my daughter (who's hair is twice as thick and kinky curly)! Bree was very gentle and got through our two heads of hair in 45 minutes! That, on its own, was enough to impress me. There were no bugs, just peace of mind. I still washed all my daughter's bedding, vacuumed and washed all her clothes in her hamper and a coat. I also got a nice stack of business cards to leave with the school health tech. Thank you Head Lice Patrol! read more
