Highly recommended if you want peace of mind. I had been experiencing itchiness in my scalp and it was keeping me up at night. I even set up a dermatology appointment thinking I was having a skin problem. While I was working, I pulled out an insect from my hair. And I thought, 'That's strange.' Then the next day, a bug fell out of my hair and onto my paper that I was working above and it looked just like the other bug. What?! I had my husband check out my head and he said yes he saw other bugs. I ran to the Walgreens and immediately bought a complete delousing kit but then when I read the instructions I thought I can't do this to myself. I was panic stricken. How could I get lice???!! Eww and they're crawling all over me. I yelped and found Gabby through Head Lice Patrol. I texted her the next day and she came to my house. She checked out me and my kids. She found dozens of adult bugs and eggs in my hair. Then she checked my daughter-- she had MORE THAN ME! I was shocked. She cleared every adult bug, and egg out from me, my daughter and my son. Unfortunately my son caught lice somehow, and I didn't find out for weeks. I treated him once with Rid. I did not realize you have to treat again 7-10 days later! Either way thats around $50-60 for 1 person! When I noticed they were not only not gone but that now I had them, I called for professional help. I called Head Lice Patrol and Liz got back to me within a few hours and got someone out here the next day! I really couldn't beleive how fast they were able to come help us. Definitely recommend. I had the worst battle with this lice experience. I have never had to deal with it before so didn't really know what I was doing. I originally called another place because this place couldn't come out the same day and I was grossed out. Wanted it taken care of right then... well I was charged n arm and a leg with the other place...and we were STILL infested. for days I combed and combed out hair. Picked and picked. And just kept getting worse. The other place came back and treated again. Still no luck. So I called head lice patrol. Alex came out and treated all of us, me and my 3 girls. My husband discovered lice on my eldest daughter's head late in the afternoon on Easter Sunday. We were upset at the discovery but, having used Head Lice Patrol two years prior, felt confident in owner Liz's ability to eliminate them quickly. We called Head Lice Patrol and left a voicemail around 7 pm. While we were at dinner both Liz and her employee called us back and left messages. They were ready to come over that night but we didn't receive their voicemails until late in the evening. Looooove this company. I am a total hypochondriac about lice. I got a call from a friend informing me that her daughter (whom my daughter plays with and had been to her house the day before) had lice. Then I found out that a group of kids my daughter played with the day before had gone home from school with lice. I called Head Lice Patrol and within 3 hours there was someone (Bree) at my house to do a lice check on my daughter and me, my husband is bald and my son has an almost shaved head so I figured I could check him on my own. My daughter and I have very thick, curly hair (think Diana Ross). I was expecting it to take hours to get through our hair with the little combs and I expected tears. There were only a couple of "ouch!" moments and they came from me, not my daughter (who's hair is twice as thick and kinky curly)! Bree was very gentle and got through our two heads of hair in 45 minutes! That, on its own, was enough to impress me. There were no bugs, just peace of mind. I still washed all my daughter's bedding, vacuumed and washed all her clothes in her hamper and a coat. I also got a nice stack of business cards to leave with the school health tech.
