We had dealt with lice once before and used an at-home service, but this experience was so much better. I am so glad I called Kelli! I got a call from the school nurse that they found lice in our son's hair. I have never dealt with this before, and also have a lot going on in life at the moment. I was reading the instructions that were provided by the nurse. They said to use the standard Nix over the counter treatment. I woke up at 4:30am itching my scalp wondering what could be going on!!! It dawned on me that I just might be as susceptible to lice as everyone else; maybe it COULD happen to me... checked my sons hair with a flashlight and what do you know an adult bug crawling through his gorgeous mop. I made an appt request right then and waited up until Kelli responded which was 6:08am! My family and I were in by 11:30 and home lice free by 1:45. I have had a life time of fearing lice. Had the whole family checked, all the girls needed treatment. We spent $700 to try and get rid of this problem. Everyone was treated went home washed and cleaned EVERYTHING. We thought that we were in the clear. My oldest started itching approx. 15 days later. Started trying to call the office number and every time I called the voicemail was full. When I finally got ahold of someone at the corp level they had the clinic call me. By this time I am being told that it has been more than 30 days. If they had answered the phone when I started calling that would not have been the case. Poor results and a waste of money. read more

I can't tell you how great of a experience it was in actually getting my daughter's lice out! If I could give a 10 Star I would! Last year my 6 year old daughter and 5 year old son got Lice. TL;DR: Kelli is freaking amazing. My younger kid had been itching her head for a little while, and since eczema runs in the family, I took her to the doctor thinking it was the same issue. It wasn't until that appointment that I realized she had lice -- and I felt awful that I completely missed it because I had been so vigilant about keeping lice off my older child when she was much younger. The nurses started giving me all sorts of advice -- dousing her head with mayonnaise, putting all the stuffed animals in bags in the garage for two weeks, combing through her hair every two hours, basically everything short of completely burning our house down. Before we had even left the doctor's office, I found LCA on Yelp and gave Kelli a call, and thankfully she was able to see us immediately. First of all, she was so sweet and really understood my needs as I was having a near meltdown in her office (which is immaculate, btw). My little one sat in the chair and needed the full heat treatment, and Kelli was so gentle -- my kid didn't make a peep and she usually cries as soon as I even mention having to comb her hair. For the treatment I honestly would've paid twice the cost just to know I wouldn't have to go home and try to deal with it every two hours for the next two months. My husband also drove our older daughter over while the little was getting the AirAlle treatment so we could all get checked, but it turned out my older one and I only needed the oil treatment, which requires two more follow ups at home. I was still in FULL PANIC MODE and called Kelli the next day with more questions and she still answered my call and basically held my hand through all my anxiety. She's so awesome, on the way out of her office I actually told her I loved her. It was that real. Let's talk about lice. You're probably already itching and I have to say that I am itching writing this and thinking about it. LOL When one has a child in elementary school, chances are, that child will have exposure to lice at some point. I was lucky enough to escape it when my boys where in grade school, but no such luck with Reese. About 5 months ago, the letters first started to come home from school that lice was a problem. Reese has long, beautiful thick hair and I noticed she was itching her head a little bit. I immediately went and bought the box lice product and treated her. It took 2 hours to comb through her hair, after the shampooing, cream rinsing and putting the gel into in for the the comb out. I waited 2 days and then I treated her again and I treated my other daughter. This time I bought more box product and saturated both of them and did the process again. I felt pretty good that I got everything and just started to watch her after that. She seemed good. She was not itching and my other daughter seemed to be good too. Things went on well for a while, but then I noticed she was itching again so I bought MORE box product and treated her again. All along, I was washing linens, spraying furniture and losing my mind. Again. It looked like I got everything out. THEN about 6 weeks ago she started itching again and I bought more product AGAIN. Went through the process again. Finally a couple weeks ago, I started to see her itching AGAIN and I saw what I thought were nits in her hair at a photo shoot just this last week. I was at my wits end... I was exhausted from it and was DESPERATE to find something that would REALLY work. The box treatments are full of pesticides and it was getting into her blood stream. I noticed her skin was looking odd. Reese is very involved with pageants, dance, cheer and other things that put her with children all the time. I was literally LOSING IT. I looked up online to find an extreme treatment that would work once and for all... AND THAT IS WHEN I FOUND THE LICE CLINICS OF AMERICA AND THEIR OFFICE IN TEMECULA. I almost started crying when I read the website. I was so happy that ONLY ONE TREATMENT IS NEEDED TO GET RID OF EVERYTHING. AND... everything is ALL NATURAL. NO PESTICIDES!! I called immediately and got Reese and myself in, because at this point, now I was itching too. We were treated and we feel great. AND... The oil they use at the end not only gets rid of any lingering pests, it makes the hair, smooth, shining and beautiful! I am going to use it monthly just for that. Reese looks like she belongs in a hair commercial now. LOL We brought my other daughter in to the center to get checked yesterday. She was not itching a lot, but Kailey said that sometimes a person may not itch a lot, and she was an extreme case. There were so many that she was there for over 3 hours getting treated. Kailey, our tech, was patient, went that extra mile and stayed until her hair was clean and rid of everything. We all had Kailey! She is awesome! She is professional and excellent at her job. The prices may seem a little high at first, either $125 for the shorter treatment or $185 for the more extreme cases, but let me tell you... It's worth EVERY PENNY. It's A LOT of work to rid our children of these little nuisances. They educate and prep one with the tools to be rid of them forever. I can't say enough. If Reese EVER gets even a hint of anything again, I will immediately go to LCA. They know what they are doing. The peace of mind I get and the fact that I can have my sanity back... priceless Please get rid of the stigma about lice. Check your kids and get treated. They can't hurt you but they sure are a big PAIN IN THE A$$. read more

My family and I visited the Lice treatment center of America located in Temecula last Sunday, I never knew this place existed but I am so happy to have found it! A family member of mine referred me, after we'd done two unsuccessful lice treatments on my daughter and were at our wits end! I reached out on a Saturday for an appointment, I left a voice message and was contacted within the hour via text message. Kelli was so friendly right from the start, she accommodated us the very next morning, we were the only ones there and on a SUNDAY! She text me throughout that morning and was understanding as we ran late. The place is super clean and nice, she offers free WiFi and Netflix to keep us all comfortable while we waited. Process took 1-2 hours tops. She was very knowledgeable and explains in detail each step. The treatment was for my daughter but the whole family went up (husband and two boys) and she checked our heads as well, she even assisted us as we pulled into the parking lot and our 2 year old got car sick! I could go on and on about how Kelli was so friendly and made us feel comfortable from start to finish, if anything like this happens again we will definitely be heading right back to The Lice Treatment center of America! UUUHHH-FREAKING-MAZING!! So my daughter had lice & I used one of the regular store bought kits thinking that would do it for my family.. yeah no . After using the kit she still had lice my other kids heads were itching & mine started itching too .. I looked up lice treatment places called right away in a frustrated frenzy because I have 4 kids my youngest is 4 months old so you can imagine how upsetting it is .. anyways so Kelli answers ( she's the wonderful owner ) I start babbling on asking a bunch of questions just telling her how freaked out I am she just cheerfully gives me the whole run down on everything they offer she told me all the different things we could do & what would be the most affordable way to go about it . Calming me down , assuring everything would be ok wasn't all she did ... after the phone call she texted me even told me she'd be available to converse further if I had any questions until later in the night . DON'T BUY OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS LIKE NIX OR RID. Leave lice treatments to experts like the folks at LCA. I called LCA and Kellie was really nice. She explained to me what they do and I felt hope that finally my daughters infestation would be gone. I had tried to treat it myself unsuccessfully for 2 weeks using nix which wasn't EVEN killing the lice. Kellie gave me a same day appointment and texted me everything I needed to know (location, parking, hair instructions, advised us to wear old shirts as the oil tends to run and stain shirts). We got there and Toni took us in. She checked my hair, my three year old son's hair, and then my daughter. My son and I were clear but my daughter obviously had an infestation. The whole treatment was long but she kept my son entertained with Despicable 3 on the TV and my daughter watched Barbie's Dreamhouse on Netflix with their iPad. Toni gave me a lot of information about lice and prevention. My daughter was very quiet the whole time compared to when I did the Nix treatment she would cry and complain about me pulling her hair. After her treatment, Toni applied a complementary oil treatment to my head even though I was clear, just incase something was missed. That right there made my day because it gave me peace of mind knowing no way those critters would end up on my hair. Following the treatment we were given specific instructions. Follow those instructions exactly and the infestation will be gone. My daughter was happy because her head didn't itch anymore and kept talking about the nice lady (Toni) who helped her get rid of the bugs. When we got home I got to cleaning! Everything was thrown in washer/dryer. Hair combs and accessories where put in the freezer for 2 days. 11 days following the treatment, we are happy to report that my daughter is lice free! Thank you LAC! I will continue to comb out her hair once a week until she graduates HIGH SCHOOL as recommended because I never want to deal with lice again.
