Yana is my saving grace! Not only is she the sweetest human on the planet, she is also immensely thoughtful and thorough in her process. I found I had lice, tried to treat it myself, and two weeks later discovered I was NOT successful in my attempt. I ruined my hair with the chemical store bought products, and was still hosting unwanted guests. I have very think, long hair. The thought of washing combing, rinsing, and repeating was overwhelming. I had already bought a high quality lice-comb to deal with our moderate case of head lice (started with my daughter, probably from a preschool classmate!). But using it on myself and my thick hair was daunting and the results were slow. Yana came and helped, encouraging me about the work I'd already put in (thank you!!!) and helping me with better strategies and her expertise. I am grateful to have our lice under control! I would give 100 stars for the amazing work Yana did on my daughter!!! It's been 4 days, and not one single egg or bug in her hair. I was so worried at first that the lice would be really difficult to get rid of. I was also really upset with my childs school that they didn't let all us parent's know right away when some of the kids started getting lice!!. Since i shared the same problem as some of the other parents , i asked around for a recommendation for where to bring my daughter. Yana was great! One night before bed, i discovered tons of eggs in my daughter's hair. Freaked out , I called LiceAge first thing in the morning and Yana came to my home just a few hours. Lana is amazing - we've had to call her twice now. First time ended up being a long session with both my girls with long hair - she is meticulous and educated me the entire time so I could keep an eye out in the future. Well - my daughter started complaining about itching again (months later after we were informed about an outbreak at school) and Lana came out to do an assessment. First of all let me say how awful it is to have to use a lice service... but when Yana showed up she instantly brought with her a much needed calmness to our house and got straight to work. I had already treated my kids and husband and cleaned the house so it was my turn. I called a professional because I wasn't even trying to mess around with letting my husband inspect, treat and comb out my hair. Yana had a meticulous method and I was instantly put to ease. I had such a great experience using lice age. I had been trying for weeks to get rid of my daughters lice but it seemed impossible to find all the time I needed to actually sit down and get them out and with her blond hair it was hard to find the nits. They were very friendly on the phone and able to come to my house the same day even though it was almost 7pm, I feel so bad I forgot the woman who did my daughters hairs name, because she was awesome. She was very informative about the process and preventive measures and super sweet to my daughter. I even got my head checked just to be sure. The whole thing took a little over an hour for my daughter and about 15 mins for her to check me. Lice is so frustrating and it's hard for my daughter to sit still for me, but she did great when they did it. The best part was it was at my house so it didn't seem like an inconvenience. Yana was personable, professional, timely, VERY thorough and knowledgeable. We called early in the morning in a panic for a same-day treatment and she was able to work with our work schedule. We have visited a local lice salon (hair fairies) when our kids have had lice- over the "kinder years" for two girls and will not be back for various reasons.
