Judy was my massage therapist last evening for a 90-minute full-body massage. I have had many massages over the years but Judy provided the best one ever. Head to Toe asks that we fill out a pictorial diagram of places on the body pre- massage that need extra care. I listed "elbows" and other areas. Post massage my arms were singing with vibrating health and "elbows" are both feeling better. This morning I noticed my arms were still feeling currents of health. And, during other massages therapists have hurt my calves. Judy did not squeeze my calves! She was amazing! I did something I never do... Booked another day/time with Judy. I have had foot massages in several locations, I move around a fair amount for work, but had yet to find one in Walnut Creek. I've walked by Head 2 Toe before, saw there was a cash discount and thought it was odd. After scouting this place out on Yelp, I paid them a visit today. WOW! I feel like a million bucks. Wow!! I stopped in to get a foot massage in between appointments and I was so pleasantly surprised! These guys are so strong my feet and calves feel amazing! The therapist at this place are NOT trained. My experience was very disturbing to my physical body as the therapist started shaking and rubbing my body on the skin than doing a massage. Gave feedback couple of times during the massage and she did not understand English and did not change her style. I had to leave the massage table less than half the time as the physical experience was more agitative as opposed to relaxing that a massage gives. I would not be going here again. I want to be fair on the Therapist's time and her salary and did not take the refund. This place should step up on giving proper massage training to their therapists and get them certified. read more

I know this site says that appointment only, but I just have to say that if they are not busy they will take walk ins! Me and my 2 cousins were walking around Walnut Creek after we had a birthday lunch get together for me and we saw this day spa. 40 dollars for a full body massage. All of us were thinking, sure! We walked in, it was quiet, but pleasant. We asked the lady at the front desk if they had room for 3 full body massage, and she said yes! This was also on a Saturday afternoon! They have private rooms along with couples room. My massage person hit every spot! I didn't even realize my shoulder was so tensed up until he actually started kneeding out the knots! I like this place except, when I was finished with my massage I stepped out for some fresh air, and the front desk lady came running out asking if I was going to leave a tip for my massage person. I mean really? Give me a minute to enjoy it. I still gave a 5 dollar tip, but that just kind of bothered me. Other then running after the tip, the massage was great. I also went there again in Jan. 2013 with my mom and best friend. They both loved it, and so did I. I will be returning again with a new group of people. read more

This is not a massage or reflexology. This is just a guy beating you up and putting random pressure on your body. I went with a friend and we both experienced pain during and after our massage. It was violent and there is zero customer service. They are not experts, just men without any skills. I am very disappointed and will never come back. read more

My last and final straw of coming to this place I called at 3:48 to book my massage for 6:30. We come at 6:30 for our massage and the lady with the blonde hair strip on the front of her face which by the way looks like rat hair.....was rude as fuck! She was talking Chinese with the other girl and let me tell you I understand Chinese.....enough said with that! When we got there she told us we have to change our services or move out appointment at 7....why do we need to do either? We called at 3:48 to book our appointment and the services that we wanted, you said it was no problem....why is it a problem when we arrived???? it's not our fault that your busy....have better management....don't give the customer attitude cuz you over booked.... read more

One of the best places in Walnut Creek (sister chain w/ two spots in Pleasanton) to get your muscles worked out or to just kick up your feet (literally) and relax... for SUPER cheap. So, if you cant wait til your Burke Williams, these CMTs, although with slight language barriers, are rather skillful in what they do. The setting is quiet with sounds of waterfalls and relaxing music...they pretty much fit you in as soon as you walk in. The bf and I have come here twice now after testing out the competition in the area, it's our favorite spot so far...our session includes one hour of full body hot oil massage followed by one hour of foot rubbing...all for under a bill and finished with some hot tea & water. I came as a walk in, got to the front desk, said 'hi' and the receptionist literally just ignored me. Said 'hi' to her again and she looked up with this irritated look on her face, at which point I simple just walked away. I go to plenty of foot massage places in Oakland Chinatown so I know they are not known for service, but she was just down right rude. Maybe business is really just that good, one more or less customer makes no difference to them. Go to Olympic Spa instead. read more

Not very good at all, low pressure, awkward eye contact, hands moving towards areas it shouldn't! Over all a creepy experience. It's bad enough being touched by a person you don't know, when they make it as awkward as they did you can't help but feel somewhat violated even when it wasn't their intentions. After all its not their intentions but my perception (perception is reality). I do not suggest this place to anyone looking to relax. read more

Not going back! The place is nice and clean, parking was easy but you have to feed the meter. I could see if I went in the evening parking may be a problem. The massage was painful, I had to ask 3 times to lighten up on the pressure. He said ok and the massage was ok for a few minutes then went right back to painful pressure. I could not wait for it to end. Maybe I'm a wimp but omg that was bad. He grabbed the back of my skull and I think he was trying to pull it off my neck. I gave 2 stars because I have limited knowledge of the rest of the therapists and the place was actually clean and they were nice. The massage was really bad though. read more

Amazing experience! Paid $31 for the Special Food Reflexology plus 10 minutes back. My therapist really worked on my shoulders to rub out my tension and knots. It was just what I needed after a long week at work. Highly recommended and will definitely be back! read more

I've been here a couple of times and I am always happy when I leave. My favorite person is Steven. He has strong hands and knows the perfect amount of pressure to apply. The first time I went I thought it was only the foot and leg massage. Then I went to a different room and got a back massage. The pricing is great and they even stay open late if I can't make it there by the time that they close. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly I wasn't a fan. The woman who massaged me was working very hard, but it was clear that she didn't have any proper training. She also left to get the warm towel and was gone 5 min. 5 min is a long time when waiting for someone to come back, and she didn't add that time on to my massage. Also, be prepared to be in the nude; at one point she had the blanket completely off me. Not terrible in total, but I wouldn't go back. read more

I have been to many spas like Burke Williams, 77 Maiden Lane (before they closed), etc but this is it for me! This place is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek!!! Primarily it's a place to go for foot massage but they also offer full body. All the workers are licensed CMPs; my favorite is Michelle. She has strong hands and exceptional technique for deep tissue, if that's what you want. You can tell them how much or little pressure to use. Most recently I chose 90 mins ($60!) and it was the best as she could focus on my problem areas for neck, shoulder, back and arms --- I work in software sales and I'm on the laptop all day long. My wife enjoys going as well. I cannot say enough about this place and would recommend to anyone that is looking for quality & value. BTW...they just opened another location a few doors down....that's how busy they can get. Would recommend appointment but they do take walk-ins. I think they also have another location in San Ramon. Came here for the $40.00 full body massage. I was overseas for 3 years so I know a good massage, and this place is pretty good for the price. They're very friendly, got me set up quickly, and I loved that Lucy, my therapist, focused a LOT on my shoulders 'cause that's where most of my stress ends up and what I needed. If it wasn't for my visit before work I'd have been a mess today. Definitely feel better thanks to the massage. read more

I stopped by here last weekend and had a foot massage. It was wonderful!! I usually frequent another popular place in Walnut Creek but I prefer this place now. It costs $25 for an hour long foot massage but if you buy a pack of 10 then the it comes down to $20 per massage. I am going to be a regular here from now on. read more

I've had hundreds of massages and this has to be one of the worst ever. I told them on the form what pressure (medium) I wanted and what hurt. She came in and started without speaking to me and doing something that felt like a sledgehammer was hitting my back. I asked for less pressure and she did adjust but the damage was done. My back is black and blue from what she did. She didn't use any standard massage maneuvers; it was just rubbing. She did virtually nothing with my neck even though I said that it was a problem area. Perhaps I should feel lucky she didn't touch it. When I turned onto my back, she only rubbed the front of me through the sheet for a couple minutes and then said it was over. I will never go back there and I would not recommend it to anybody. read more

Setting an appt on a Weekday was not a prob, was about the only positive experience i had here. On arrival they ask you to fill out a chart pointing out areas of your body that require messaging. I had picked shoulders, lower back, and heels and paid for a full body massage plus a tip. They finally took me to a room but told me the heater in that room wasnt working. It was raining outside and quite cold that day but I told the receptionist as long as the massage therapist's hands were warm (had a bad experience before somewhere else) I would be okay. I shouldve realised they dont take little details like that seriously because when the massage therapist came, she had icy cold hands! What's worst is she didnt know how to massage, I had tell her to stop massaging my bones sore but to focus on the muscle instead!! Bad experience and wast of my $$. Definitely will not going back there, nor would I ever recommend anyone to go there. read more

It is a nice place to get massage in Walnut Creek. People are nice and their skills are good. I love the price for a body massage. I really enjoyed my session and satisfied with massage. But one thing I would like to mention. Inside can smell stink and air is not fresh, which is not pleasant. I felt bit hard to breath during the session. I think the problem is the inside lacking fresh air and the smell is from carpet. I suggest having some fresh air flow during business hours. The carpet may need to steam clean. That will be great. I am looking for to come back enjoy the great massage. read more

This is by far the worst massage ever I've ever had. I signed up for a foot massage and led to a dark quiet room with other people. My masseuse was chewing gum throughout the service but couldn't hide his awful potent cigarette breath. I understand it was foot reflexology but he was pressing on my feet so hard as if he was intentionally trying to break my bones. I did tell him to stop a few times to decrease the pressure but I don't think he understood English. At one point, I closed my eyes to try and relax and he slapped my foot and mimicked me?- looked up to the ceiling, closed his eyes, and opened his mouth as if he was drooling. I know I didn't do that because I was so uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if he was joking, I tried to ask him, but he never responded. Perhaps due to the English language barrier? I kept hoping for a massage of the bottom of my feet which prompted me to try this place. I never got one and I will never ever return. read more
